《The second granger-Harry Potter》•september 1st•

September 1st.
As always, stepping into the train was exciting for both Ophelia and Hermione. They both lived to be able to use magic and see all of their friends once again.
Ophelia and Hermione were already seated in a compartment by themselves; Harry and Ron were looking for the trolley or something like that.
"It's crazy how we're already in our 4th year hey?" Ophelia said, kicking her feet up on the table.
"It is." Hermione replied. "I wonder what this year is going to be like.
"Probably a bunch of bloody homework." Ron groaned as he walked into the compartment with Harry following behind.
Ron pushed Ophelias legs off the table and walked by to sit next to Hermione; it was obvious he did it so Harry could sit next to Ophelia, but she wasn't complaining.
Ophelia scooted over so that Harry could sit down next to her. The compartment seemed a lot dimmer this year, but not literally. The weather was bright and happy and somewhat cloudy, but it seemed the whole situation at the World Cup was still heavy on all of their shoulders.
It seemed as though everybody at the compartment knew this year was going to be even worse than last year, but none of them knew what was to come.
"No soccer ball this year?" Ron chuckled, biting into a chocolate frog. Ophelia had forgotten about how she hit Harry with a soccer ball on the train last year.
Ophelia giggled and leaned back in her seat, unsure of how to respond. She fidgeted with the necklace that had been around her neck since Harry got it for her; the one with a golden bottle.
The whole compartment was laughing and talking, so Ophelia decided to leave her day dreams and talk aswell.
"And then the Dursley's made me clean until 1am, like they usually do." Harry went on, talking about some story from the beginning of summer.
"I would've hexed them all in their sleep." Ophelia giggled. Ron and Harry chuckled along when Hermione gave Ophelia a concerned look.
"It was very tempting." Harry chuckled, leaning forward on the table.
He was wearing a grey hoodie and grey-beige-ish pants. His hair was ruffled perfectly and his smile was perfection. Ophelia caught herself staring at him and quickly looked away blushing.
But wow was his smile even so adorable.
Ophelias mind trailed many directions in that moment. Harry looked so adorable yet so, hot? Ophelia had never had "dirty" thoughts about somebody before, so this was quite terrifying to her.
"Ophelia?" Hermione barked, taking Ophelia out of her trance once again. "Fred's talking to you."
Next to her, Harry was snickering at how Ophelia hadn't even noticed Fred was there. Hermione kicked him from across the table, which caused him to bite his tongue to stop himself from yelping.

Ophelia glanced up to see the twins staring down at her.
"Sorry what?" Ophelia asked, meeting Fred's eyes.
"We were curious if you wanted to come play a prank with us?" George grinned.
"Me?" Ophelia replied in disbelief.
"Of course you Ophelia." Fred smirked. "Who else is as incredible as you?"
Oh. That's what this was actually about. Ophelia glanced past Harry and out the window, realizing they were almost at Hogwarts. As she did so, she saw Harry glaring at Fred; quickly, she turned around and saw Fred glaring at Harry. Really?
"What is the issue with you two?" Ophelia asked. Both Ron and Hermione sat up in their seats awkwardly. "You two know don't you!"
Ophelia scoffed when nobody answered her. If it was such a small thing, why couldn't she know.
"Right." Ophelia said, faking her smile. "Well, sorry guys but we've arrived at Hogwarts so I can't help you with that prank."
Ophelia stood up, gathering her bag and walking off. She hated that she was acting out recently. Maybe it was the several years of secrets being kept from her that had finally caught up.
Not only that, but more people were seeing she could get upset. She clenched her fists tightly as she walked through the train and off of it. The air was crisp and cool, just how Ophelia liked it. The sun was also shining down on the students perfectly; it felt lovely.
"Hey Hagrid." Ophelia greeted him cheerfully.
"Ophelia!" Hagrid greeted her back. "How was your summer?"
"Crazy. That's one way to describe it." Ophelia laughed, throwing her bag over her shoulder. "I'll see you at the great hall?"
Hagrid nodded and Pat Ophelias back, sending her flying forward. She laughed as she regained her balance and continued walking towards the castle.
The air was the most refreshing thing for Ophelia. Personally, she would rather stay outside than attend the opening speech. She decided she would come back out once it was done.
The castle felt like home, per usual. Ophelia walked quickly to the great hall so that she could get a seat where she wanted. As more kids crowded in, she noticed they were all talking in whispers. Well, most of them.
What could that be about?
Once everybody was seated, Dumbledore walked up to the front and cleared his throat. He does that every year, so the students knew to go quiet when he did.
"Welcome back students!" Dumbledore greeted.
The roof was set to look like a cloudy night, despite the fact it was still 4:30 in the afternoon.
"We hope you enjoyed your summer." Dumbledore continued. "This year Hogwarts has been chosen to host the incredible Triwizard tournament!"

The students instantly broke into chatter. Ophelia was even surprised, though she was quite excited.
"Settle down." Dumbledore chanted. "For anybody who does not know, the triwizard tournament is a competition that consists of 3 tasks, 3 schools, and 3 champions. We will give you all more information in a few moments, but for now, let me introduce Beauxbatons academy of magic!"
The doors of the great hall flew open in a second. Several girls dressed in light blue stepped through the door way. It was incredible how they walked so in sync.
Each girl had their hair tied back into a sleek ponytail, but one definitely stood out to many people.
Once finished, the beauxbatons academy took a seat over by the ravenclaws. Next, it was time to introduce the Durmstrang institute for Magical learning.
Both performances were incredible, but while durmstrangs school was performing, one man caught Ophelias attention.
"Ron it's the love of your life!" Ophelia whispered to Ron, which got her a slap on the back of the head.
She laughed at Ron's irritated blushing.
"Well." Dumbledore spoke clearly. "Now that we have met our incredible schools, I shall tell more informations on the tournament."
Fred, George and several other students perked up. They all seemed very determined to enter.
"All students who enter, must be of 17 years of older." Dumbledore ordered.
Even through all the angry rants, Dumbledore continued calmly. He explained the goblet of fire, and how each student had until Thursday at this hour to enter. This year was going to be wild.
Once the feast was over, Ophelia left to sit outside immediately.
While walking through the hallway, she happened to catch a glimpse of Harry staring at some girl. She seemed to be in an older year; she had silky dark hair and the most beautiful eyes. Ophelia could tell why he was staring at her, even if it made her upset.
Maybe he really would meet somebody new this year. Maybe the small bit of hope Ophelia had to be with Harry was foolish.
Harry glanced over at Ophelia and clearly realized she had caught him staring at Cho. He scratched the back of his neck, clearly unsure if he should walk over to Ophelia or not. Even Ron and Hermione, who were standing next to him, were looking upset with Harry for staring at Cho while Ophelia was right there.
Ophelia smiled at the three from across the hallway and turned away. She walked out of the school and over to the broom shed. She sat against the wall of it and leaned back, admiring the sunset.
"Looks like somebody found my spot." A boy chuckled as he walked up. Ophelia glanced over and smiled at the man.
"I can leave." Ophelia giggled, going to stand up.
"No it's alright." The guy said. "I wouldn't mind a little company either."
Ophelia smiled and patted the ground next to her. The guy sat down and looked at the sunset aswell.
"You're Ophelia Granger yeah?" The guy asked, looking to his side and at her.
"Yeah I am." Ophelia replied, somewhat embarrassed the guy knew her name but she didn't know his.
"The names Cedric. Cedric Diggory." Cedric said, looking back to the sunset. "Few years above you I believe."
Ophelia nodded, realizing who Cedric was now. He had asked for a rematch when Harry fell off his broom in 3rd year. He seemed like such a genuine guy. There were also rumours he was going out with Cho Chang.
Now that Ophelia was thinking about it, she realized the girl Harry was staring at was Cho. She was such a sweet girl actually, but Ophelia had only ever talked to her once.
"So how's your first day back been?" Ophelia asked casually, playing with her necklace.
"Pretty good actually." Cedric replied. "I've been thinking about entering my name into the goblet. Cho thinks it'll be dangerous but also exciting. I get what she's saying though."
Ophelia smiled and looked to Cedric. She realized he was blushing just talking about Cho.
"You and Cho. Are you..." Ophelia trailed off.
"Not yet." Cedric began, knowing what Ophelia was going to ask. "But soon hopefully."
"That's great. You two would be perfect for each other." Ophelia giggled, looking back to the sunset. Cedric could be a great friend.
"Hopefully one day we can be as perfect as you and Harry are together." Cedric chuckled.
Did Cedric think Ophelia and Harry were together? How many people thought that already?
"Oh Harry and I aren't together." Ophelia laughed, though blushing slightly.
Cedric paused and looked at Ophelia. She looked at him in return.
"Well you like him then don't you?" Cedric questioned, nudging Ophelias arm. She giggled and leaned her head back on the broom shed.
"More than ever." Ophelia replied. "But don't tell anyone that or you won't have a hand to put your name into the goblet."
Cedric laughed but nodded in doing so. They both sat in silence for a moment, just thinking. Ophelia could tell that this was going to bloom into a great friendship.
Hey darlings. Just so you know Cedric is JUST going to be a bestfriend. That's it that's all. I ship Harry and Ophelia too much to do you all like that.
Anyways, hope you enjoyed.
