《SEA GREEN MEETS GOLD (N.M. & P.J.)》Chapter 35: Body Switch

The raven haired beauty walked up the staircase. She couldn't form any coherent thoughts.
Percy mindlessly entered the bathroom. She turned the shower on, and removed the pieces of clothing from her body.
The sea green eyed girl felt the water trickle down her back. She sighed deeply.
The water brought her a temporary feeling of bliss. It didn't last long though, when her thoughts poured out.
He's dead.
She closed her eyes and focused on her breathing.
What if I can bring him back? What if there's a way to bring him back?
What if he's not really dead?
What if I'm just dreaming?
Dozens of 'what if's' clouded her mind.
She tried to keep her focus on scrubbing off the blood. The red liquid stained her skin.
Percy used a wash cloth to scrub at her skin continuously.
No matter how many times she washed her skin, it didn't feel good enough.
She didn't feel like she did good enough.
When the water eventually turned cold, she ended her shower.
The demigod wrapped a towel around herself and walked into her bedroom.
She put on a pair of pajama shorts and a blue sweatshirt.
Percy collapsed on her bed. She felt utterly exhausted, but her mind still ran through thoughts of him.
⇿
When the daughter of the sea awoke, she felt as though she hadn't gotten any sleep.
Lying underneath blankets in her bed brought her no comfort.
Percy closed her eyes.
I should bring him to his siblings.
The demigod threw the blankets off of her and somehow made her way down the steps.
She felt like she couldn't function. Her mind was clouded.
Percy slipped on a pair of white trainers and walked out of her house. Locking the door behind her, she stepped toward the car.
The raven haired beauty pulled her phone out of her pocket. She saw she had several missed calls from Tyler.
Why would Tyler call me?
The demigod opened the door of the vehicle. Suddenly, her head was smacked against the side of the car.
She spun around to fight back, but felt a slight pinch in her neck. A large syringe was being pushed into the side of it.
Percy quickly threw the guy holding the needle into the car. Several more people pointed guns at her.
What the fudge?
Suddenly, she was knocked unconscious. Her vision went black.

When Percy awoke, she was in the back of a van.
She tried to move, but discovered she was restrained.
"Percy?" Rebekah called out. "Are you okay?"
The demigod snapped her head toward the original. Rebekah and Caroline were tied up beside her in the back of the van.
She nodded slightly.
Caroline spoke up from beside her. "Looks like Alaric outed us all to the council."
Percy looked away and mumbled. "Alaric's dead."
The original glanced at her friend. Rebekah turned her attention back to Caroline. "The council? What exactly do they think they can do to me?"
Something crashed into the van, which caused the vehicle to flip over.
Glass shattered from the windows.
"What the hell happened?" Rebekah questioned.

Abruptly, the door was ripped off its hinges. Tyler was revealed.
He immediately rushed over to Percy. Tyler ripped the ropes off of her. His hand gently held her cheek. "Are you alright, love?"
The demigod's eyebrows furrowed.
Something about him seemed so familiar.
Wait, love? Why would he call me love-
Her jaw dropped slightly and she felt a stinging sensation in her eyes.
"Tyler?" Caroline's voice exclaimed. At the same time, a different name fell from Percy's lips. "Nik?"
The hybrid nodded. "Yes, love."
Another cop car started speeding towards the van. "We have to go." He urged her to get up.
"What did you do to Tyler?" Caroline demanded.
Klaus shook his head. "No time for that."
Percy immediately helped Rebekah get out of the vervain ropes.
The hybrid groaned, "We don't have time."
The demigod didn't listen to him and used a sharp knife to cut the ropes binding Caroline.
The second Percy stepped back, Klaus grabbed her and sped away.
He stopped in the middle of the woods. His hand gently held her cheek. "Are you okay?" He asked worriedly.
The raven haired beauty stared at Tyler's face. "I thought you were dead." The words came out like a whisper.
He could see the pained look on her face. "I-"
Caroline and Rebekah sped into the clearing in the woods beside them.
"What's going on, Klaus?" The Forbes girl asked.
His eyes stayed trained on Percy. "I'm using Tyler's body, since mine is a bit preoccupied."
Rebekah stared at the hybrid in shock. "Nik?"
"Yes, sister?" He tore his eyes away from Percy momentarily.
The blonde had tears welling up in her eyes.
Caroline seemed to notice she was intruding and sped away.
The sea green eyed girl stepped away from Klaus. A hurt look crossed his face.
Percy gestured to Rebekah. His eyebrows furrowed.
'Hug her.' The raven haired beauty mouthed to him.
Klaus acted like that was the most absurd thing in the world.
Percy gave him a pointed look.
He sighed and walked towards his sister. The hybrid opened up his arms.
Rebekah rushed into his embrace, as tears fell down her cheeks.
A small smile appeared on the demigod's features. She stepped away and wandered around the woods.
A few minutes later, Klaus sped in front of her. "Why'd you walk away?"
She looked down as her eyes became watery. The hybrid gently lifted her chin. One tear fell from her eye.
Klaus wrapped his arms around her tightly. "I'm so sorry, love."
"I thought you were dead." She muttered under her breath.
The hybrid moved his head back to see her face. His thumb gently removed the tears from her cheek.
She continued, "I-I watched Alaric shove a stake in your chest and I couldn't stop it." Another tear escaped her eye. "I thought I lost you."
Klaus felt his heart break at the sight of her in so much pain.
"Love, I'm so sorry."
Percy shook her head and looked away.
She felt herself break down. More tears poured out of her eyes. She just felt so overwhelmed.

He pulled her into his chest again, providing her comfort. Despite the fact, that Klaus wasn't in his own body, she still found peace knowing it was him; knowing that he was okay.
After a few minutes, she pulled away, and looked up at him. The whites of her eyes were a bit red from the crying.
"Strawberry?" He spoke softly. "Dinosaur?"
Klaus turned his head and cursed. "I don't have my accent."
Percy laughed softly.
She smiled at him. "Thank you."
His eyes traveled over her face. "I'll be back in my own body soon, love. Okay?"
The raven haired beauty nodded. "Okay."

Percy laid down on the couch at her house.
She had given the coffin to Klaus. He was currently trying to get back into his own body.
The raven haired beauty closed her eyes and took a deep breath. A knock on her front door brought her out of her thoughts.
She jumped off the sofa and sped to the door.
The sea green eyed girl threw the door open. Klaus stood there, back in his own body.
Percy rushed forward and leaped onto him. Her arms wrapped around the back of his neck, and her legs wrapped around his torso.
Her limbs held him tightly, and her face buried in his neck. His comforting scent washed over her.
Klaus wrapped his own arms around her waist, holding her close. "Hello, love."
"Hi." She mumbled softly against his neck.
The hybrid walked into the house with her in his arms.
He closed the door behind them.
"How are you feeling?" Klaus asked tenderly.
The daughter of the sea moved her head to look at him. She leaned her forehead against his. "I'm really good." A happy smile erupted on her face.
The green eyed girl's hand gripped his shirt.
"I'm glad you're not dead." She looked deep into his blue eyes.
Klaus met her gaze.
The demigod continued speaking, and a small laugh fell from her lips. "I'm also glad you're out of Tyler's body. That was really weird."
The original chuckled. "Yes. I much prefer my own body."
Percy grinned. She hid her face in his neck again, enjoying his warm embrace.
A teasing smirk spread across his features. "Miss me, love?"
She nodded her head against him. "Yeah." Her voice came out small. The sea green eyed girl wanted to stay in his arms forever.
His heart leapt for joy at her response. The hybrid pressed a soft kiss against her cheek. Klaus' lips lingered on her skin for a moment, before he pulled away.
The raven haired beauty looked at him with the most beautiful smile he had ever seen.
Her hands held his face gently. Percy began peppering kisses across his face. Her lips left kisses on his cheeks, forehead, and nose.
Genuine laughter escaped him. His eyes shined bright as he regarded her.
Percy's smile grew at the sound of his laugh.
He's so cute.
She placed one final kiss on the tip of his nose.
They both wore expressions of happiness on their faces.
She rested her head on his shoulder. "Nik?"
"Yes, love?"
"Can we cuddle?" She asked softly.
Klaus chuckled. He thought she was adorable. "Yes."
The hybrid carried her to her room, with Percy giving him directions.
When they arrived at the bed, Percy slowly let go of him, to lay down.
The moment he laid down beside her, she wrapped her arms around him.
Happiness swelled within her.
He's okay.

The next day, Percy sat on the couch with the hybrid. She was eating Chinese food.
The demigod looked down at her phone when it buzzed.
She received a text from Caroline.
'Can I stop by? I have a little surprise for you.'
Percy's eyebrow raised, but she typed back a 'yes.'
The raven haired beauty glanced back up at Klaus. "Caroline wants to drop something off."
"What is it?" The hybrid questioned.
Shrugging, she replied, "I don't know. She didn't say."
A knock sounded from her door. Percy set down her food onto the table and went to answer it.
Something fluffy rushed at her legs. A cute bark was heard from the ground. The sea green eyed girl looked down to see Rudy. His tail was wagging in excitement.
Her face lit up and she immediately knelt down in front of the puppy. "Hi, baby!"
The adorable puppy pushed his front paws on her and licked her face. Percy laughed and picked him up. "You've gotten so big!"
The dog had indeed gotten larger in height and weight.
Caroline stood in front of her with an amused smile. "I thought it would be good for you two to reunite."
Percy looked up at the blonde with a grin. "You were right. I missed him." She turned her attention back to the puppy.
He barked again, as if assuring her that he missed her too. His tail wagged back and forth quickly.
The demigod laughed and scratched the fur behind his ears.
Cutie.
"Thanks for saving me. Twice." Caroline smiled at the pair.
The raven haired beauty looked into the puppies adorable brown eyes. "No problem, Care."
The vampire kneeled down beside them. "You know, he is still your dog. If you want him back, it's okay." Caroline could see how much Percy adored the puppy.
The sea green eyed girl's head snapped to her in excitement. "Really?"
The blonde laughed. "Yeah. You two are cute together. But, send me photos of him occasionally."
Percy grinned. "Deal."

A Percy and Rudy reunion!!
Rudy is back.
YAY!!
I'm not sure if I listed everyone, but here are some of the lovely readers who wanted Rudy to come back. I missed him too, although I'm not sure how I'll be incorporating his adorable self in the plot.

Coeus?
Author's Comment: I was asked about reading my work on other sites. The answer is simple: Currently I am not active in any other networks than royalroadl.com. Only here, I correct mistakes and errors. If you read it anywhere else and have to pay for it, or have to deal with an annoying amount of advertisement, You Are Being Betrayed. You would do good if you make other people in that network aware of it. This is a free project of mine for the purpose of having fun. And if people try to make money with it you shouldn't bother visiting their website. The only one whom I actually allowed to have my work on his website is Armaell who invested the time to compile them into pdf. (http://armaell-library.net/author/andur) ——————————————————————————————— Reading Order of the Multiverse-Books ——————————————————————————————— About a boy who isn’t quite normal and doesn’t see himself as a human being, but is taught differently as he finds out about the world's secrets. Though not everyone is happy about his existence. This is inteded to evolve into a full blown space opera with elements of magic thrown into it. ——————————————————————————————— The OneShot goes FullStory. Trying to go a little more SciFi and alternate reality this time. I am not entirely sure how this fiction will turn out. And I am not sure on the tags either. They may change. Bear with it. As always, how chapters turn out is up to my mood.
