It made her begin to wonder if she was going to see the ghosts of any of the Avengers that had ever lost their lives. She wondered if she was going to ever see the ghosts of those that had died and she wished that she wasn't going to – but she also hoped that she was going to be able to as well. She wanted to in order to see if they had anything to say in their last moments, and she didn't want to because she didn't want to have the pain of them passing away be refreshed into their mind. There were so many reasons why she didn't want to see their spirits and so many reasons why she would want to, and it was all very conflicting for her, but she knew that she wouldn't have a choice whether or not if she wanted to see them or not.
Ghosts were free spirits and if they wanted to make an appearance in someone's life, they would. If they had unfinished business, they would do whatever it was that they could in order to finish whatever it was that they could in order to find peace in their life. There were things that she would want to do in order to give those around her, as well as herself, peace. Poppy knew what it was that she would want to do with her afterlife, but then again, she wouldn't. Death was an enigma that she didn't know what to do with, but then again, no one did.
The woman walked around the corridors of the facility after one of her many meetings with S.H.I.E.L.D and the Avengers, and that was when her eyes landed on the woman in front of her. She pressed her lips together as she tilted her head to the side as she stared at the ghost of the woman in front of her. She didn't think that she was going to see her, but as the woman stood in front of her, she knew that it was her.

Cassia Linea stared at Poppy for a few seconds as she tilted her head to the side as she stared at her, and Poppy was surprised that she recognized her, knowing that she realized what happened to her. She knew what it as that had happened to her and she knew that she wasn't supposed to remember her. With the curse that was placed on her, she wasn't even supposed to remember what had happened to her and she wondered what had happened in order to make her so special to her. But she was glad that she was able to see the woman in front of her.
The blonde-haired woman stared at her as she looked at her and Poppy gave her a small smile as she made her way over toward her and Cassia could tell that there were thoughts that were going through her mind as she stared at her. Poppy began to wonder if Cassia was there to tell her a way that would be able to help Fayre with what it was that was going on and she began to wonder if the woman was going to tell her a way to help everyone. She didn't know what was going to happen as she stared at her, but then again, she never knew what it was that the ghosts were going to say to her when they appeared in front of her, but that was what came with the ability that she had.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ "Cassia," Poppy muttered as she stared at the woman in front of her and Cassia gave her a small smile, and the ghost in front of her tilted her head to the side as she stared at her. "What're you doing here? I thought that I wasn't going to be able to see you or remember who it was that you were when you died."

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ "Life is funny with how it works," Cassia commented as she stared at her and she let out a sigh as she held onto her hands in front of herself. She inhaled deeply as she stared at her for a few seconds before she nodded her head. "But I know that you and Fayre were talking about the artifact and I had to help you in any way that I could in order to stop you from making the same mistake that I had." She glanced around herself, before looking back to the woman in front of her. "Though, with the artifact being gone, it wouldn't have helped her anyway."
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ "What do you mean?" Poppy questioned as she stared at her and Poppy folded her arms over her chest.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ "Well, the artifact was a cursed object that did nothing but take life away, so there would be no reason why it would do anything to help Fayre with her immortality," Cassia explained to her and that made sense to Poppy. Poppy knew that if the artifact was only something of darkness, that it wouldn't do anything to help someone that was plagued by something dark. Cassia pressed her lips together as she stared at the woman in front of her. "But there is something out there for you to help her, it just hasn't been brought back to HQ yet."
Poppy stared at her for a few seconds, and before she could even ask Cassia what it was that she could help Fayre, the woman in front of her disappeared. The dark-haired woman clenched her jaw for a few seconds and she let out a small sigh. The only thing that mattered to her was that she had learned that there was something that was going to help Fayre with the predicament that she was in. There was something that was going to help her get rid of the immortality that she had and she was going to be able to live her life and die in a way that she was going to be happy with.
That was something that Poppy was going to be happy with, and she knew that she was going to have to tell Fayre as soon as she could. She glanced over her shoulder for a few seconds and she saw Tony Stark walk out of the room that he was in and she wondered if she should've told the man that she had seen Cassia. But she knew that that would've brought too much heartbreak to the older man, which was why she had made the decision to keep the decision to herself.
And that was when she turned on her heel and began to make her way down the corridor because she had to find Fayre and tell her what it was that she had discovered.

When Plush comes to Shove
An: So the last synopsis wasn’t really all that good, it was just some mumbo jumbo with no actual point to it so I decided to make a new one that’s a bit more accurate. Leo Lush, just your average everyday (slightly chubby) schmuck, or at least he would be if he didn’t carry around a stuffed toy everywhere he went.I mean, he was a man who could read the atmosphere a bit so put it away in his bag whenever having a stuffed toy out would be rude but other than that he brought it with him all the time, it was a memento from his girlfriend who had died three years ago and keeping it close made him feel better. That’s also why his classmates gave him the nickname “Plush”, though that's neither here nor there. One day at the train station he’d lost his dearest stuffed toy, one of his classmates found it and lobbed it towards him, something that they’d already done many times before, but this time something went wrong and Leo found himself falling in front of the train due to the force of the throw. Now follow Leo as the spirit that developed in his stuffed toy and killed him forces his ghost into another world to possess a different stuffed toy. He doesn’t know much about the world or why he’s there but what he does know is that according to a magic book his girlfriend was also sent to this very world when she died in a plane accident three years ago. An: For those who want to know a bit more about what kind of story this will be: I want it to be a chill feel-good story and stay as far away from those despair-fest stories as possible (No offense to people who enjoy them, I’m just not one of you)Let me make something clear; I’m not writing this story with hope of it becoming really top tier among RRL (Though it did get above rank 500 once which I’m still very proud of even though it’s gone back down to ~850 at the time of writing this) I just want to write a story that I would enjoy reading, that’s why I’ll be mostly skipping over a lot of the parts that I skip when I read other stories, such as stats, the exact value of money and other such precise statistics that no one(as far as I’m aware) really cares about all that much. Just feels like a lot of effort for something superfluous. There’s a single exception and that’s one of the battles, it’s not a despair-fest or anything but it’s got a different feel than the rest of the story due to me being in a funky mood while I was writing it.

Musings of a Hypocrite
Mortals are weird. They insisted in unity, as well as individualism. More often than not, they're shocked at truth and honesty, but not at falsehood and deceit. They asked questions with multiple answers, and provided answers that begged other questions. They made things to break, they destroyed things to study, they researched things to recreate. Humans, Elves, Beastmen. All of them. Within these contradictions, a miracle might manifest. But this tended to work with a trial and error methodology. Most mortals never got the happy ending. This diary is my journey alongside a few students of mine. In simple terms - they learn, they grow, they fight. They'll journey through centuries of conflict, from the physical to the educational. They'll experience the cruelty and benelovence of all living-kind. They'll experience the consequences of their choices and the blessings of their rewards. They will grow to become useful to me, or die trying like all the others. As for you? The god reading our lives like a book, sitting in your chair without a care in the world? I will show you, the farce that is known as 'God'.
