Scarlett pov

Luna Emerald leaned me against the wall and I notice the 2 boys normal again.

Alpha Tyler looks scared and really sad at what he had done.

But there's something else... Maya?

That's who he is Looking at.

Oh my god no...

Caleb is crying his eyes out at his dead mate. Alpha Tyler had just killed my best friend.

"Tyler? You killed maya!" I scream.

He flinches and walks towards Caleb.

"Caleb just hit me as many times as you want. Put me through the pain I gave you." Tyler had begged.

Caleb just froze.

"Tyler if I did, then I would be killing Emerald." He sighed.

What's the supposed to mean.

"What do you mean?" Andrew asked.

"She's my mate Andrew..." Tyler said.

What? Mate?? But Emerald is Andrew's mate. His Luna.

"What?" I ask.

"Scarlett... You see Emerald was never my mate. I loved her, but only because of her beauty. So I made her my Luna. And now she found her mate. Somebody that had to be shared. 2 girls with one male mate." He explained.

"You used Emerald?" I ask angrily.

He froze and just nodded slowly.

"Alpha Andrew? I'm going back to Rockville... Sorry..." He picked up maya and left.

I chase him with nick also with me.

"Can I hold her?" I ask.

He looked at me sadly. He knew. She was my best friend and always protected me. She was there for me every time I needed her to be. I told her my past, my life.

He hands her to me and I just hold her as we walk through the forest.

"Caleb I know a spot where it's sacred. There's a legend that claims if you bury the person here they will always watch over one person. Forever. Lets go there and leave maya." I say.

"Thank you both for everything. I just can't live without her.. What will I do?" He asked.

We walk towards the waterfall where we will keep Maya.

"Second mate or just loving someone else." Nick explains.

"Second mate huh?" Caleb sighs.

We just stay silent and we finally make it to the waterfall. I decide to say my last words.

"Hey maya you've always been too good for our world. You always beat everyone and made everyone jealous. But it made you amazing. I'm surprised to picked me as your friend from everyone else. I'm going to miss you a lot ya know? Remember when we went to the ice-cream parlor and some guy dropped ice cream on you and all you said was Damn... I remember. Maya I just want to say I love you so much. You'll always be my best friend and I know it's impossible to forget about you. Um so this is goodbye. I love you maya. Bye." I say my final words to maya.

I hand her over to Caleb and he talks silently. I felt warmth on my forearm and turn to see a ghost of Maya.

'I'll always be here.'

Then she vanished.

I feel tears prickle at my eyes and they fall loosely. I hold onto nick and just cry.

I let go noticing that Caleb is feeling worse.

Caleb breaks down again as he places maya into the waterfall. She moves down the current and Caleb just watches sadly.

Nick hugs Caleb as he cried into his chest. Nick just tried too sooth Caleb. Well he did lose his mate. That must suck.

"Lets go." Caleb said after awhile.

We all walk and before we know it we are at RockVille pack territory. We go in with a smile on my face.

"We beat you!!" A girl laughed.

"Jessy? Tyler, Andrew and Emerald?" I say stunned.

"And Frey."

My best friend! From my last pack.

Oh my god!!!

I hug Frey tightly and notice the beautiful girl behind him.

"Oh my!! I don't have anything with him! I swear we're just friend." I reassure.

"Oh no it's fine. I'm Lila Candel. His mate." She smiled.

"I'm Scarlett Breigh. Beta Nicks mate." I smile.

"So were you and Frey good friends?" Lila asked

"Yes... We were quite close. Like siblings. But I swear I'll try to refrain from hugging and stuff." I say guilty.

"No! You guys are so close it's cute! He always talked about you. A girl that he loved as a sister but vanished one day. He looked for you after we met. But never found you." Lila smiled.

"Oh my... You must have felt so unloved." I say sadly.

Lila shook her head smiling.

"No way. He's my mate and I know he'll always love me." She giggles.

We all smiled and laughed amongst each other. Lila was really nice.

After a few hours we hear a squeal.

"OMG Lila!!!" A girl screamed.

"Huh? Oh my god! Celine?" She asked.

"Yeah!!" She yelled finally arriving.

I see a petite brunette smiling at Lila.

"Hi! I'm Scarlett and this is my mate Nick." I smile.

"I'm Tyler and this is my Luna Emerald." Yeah they finally got together with Andrews approval.

"I'm alpha Andrew and this is my third in command Caleb."

"And I'm Jessy!!!" Jessy smiled.

"Hello everyone. I'm Celine Dan, a friend of Lila's. hello again Frey." She smiled.
