Scarlett pov

Beep beep beep beep beep beep

That's all I can hear. For the past hour all I can hear is beep beep beep beep.

It's pretty annoying. Hospitalized like this. Apparently I fractured my leg so I need to be in a wheelchair for 1 week. I didn't want to be on crutches that just sorta sucks.

"Doctor Cassy. How long will I be in this room? This death room!" I say in disgust.

"Not long Scarlett. Maybe 2 hours." Cassy laughed at my stubbornness.

I sigh And realize its not too long.

"What's the time?" I ask Cassy again.

"2:46." Cassy said while checking the clock.

I sigh.

Then I hear a knock at the door.

"Openy up!!" I giggle.

The door opens to reveal Ron!

Just kidding.

The door opens to reveal James.

"James!" I smile brightly.

"So are you good now? Can I leave alas?" Cassy asked.

I nod and Cassy just chuckles. I left her here prisoner for 1 hour.

James sat on the chair beside my bed.

"How are you doing princess?" James asked concerned.

"I'm fine! No damage done. Only the cast on my leg and i only need the wheelchair for a week." I grin.

"How is that being okay?" James asked with his jaw down.

I laugh and he just shakes his head.

"James.. We're finally going to be happy right?" I ask.

"Yeah princess. I'm sorry for before. But no more witches." James sighed.

"Hey it's alright. Alpha or not, your the perfect mate." I smile softly.

James pecks my cheek and then all over my face.

My face was probably bright red.

"Can I mark you?" James asked.

I nod and he puts his canines into my neck. I moan in pleasure and it felt amazing.

I look at the mark. It is a moon and sun looking thing. Sort of..

"How's Aaron?" I ask.

He's been brought back. He spilled his story to us. I can't believe he did everything for us. And Aaron wasted his life for his mate (who is dead) and the pack.

His mate is dead because of me and Grace. He saved us for his mate. And Aaron must live with the fact that Penelope hates him.

"He's holding up. He's doing his beta duties again." James smiled.

James and Aaron are best friends. It must really suck.

"Okay that's good. You think he will find his second chance mate?" I ask upset.

"Yeah probably. He deserves it." James frowned.

I smile and grace dashes in.

"Scarlett!!" She squealed.

"Your not injured?" I ask.

"I'm perfect. I ran away from the doctors. That's why I came here! To hide." Grace looked alarmed.

She laid on my bed and shared the blanket with me. She slid under and was terribly hidden.

That's why she's my best friend.

Celine was cool. I remember why the friendship stopped.

Flashback..

"He's cheating on you! Raven does not care about you." I yell.

"He loves me! I'm his Luna." Celine said in denial.

Everyone in the pack knows it. Raven was having a fling with Ambrosia Talon. They see each other every night and every morning.

Ambrosia is human. I don't blame her, considering she doesn't know Raven has Celine.

"Everyone knows it." I say cleverly.

"Can they prove it?" Celine snapped.

"Can you get over the fact that he doesn't love you! Raven isn't one to be with. Celine get it through your thick skull! Raven is not your Perfect alpha! He's a big fat, rotting lying terrible mate." I scream.

That pulled the trigger for Celine. She threw a glass jar at me. It smashed and my stomach was cut by thousands of glass shards.

"Celine?" I asked softly in pain.

Celine's eyes were black and in anger. I talked angrily about her mate and she got furious.

"I hate you. Your the worst best friend ever. I'm leaving. Goodbye." I say in pain. The glass shards hurt yes, but the heartbreak of losing my best friend hurt even more.

Celine's eyes went back to normal and she looked at the disaster. Then she glanced at my bleeding stomach.

"Scarlett? Oh my gosh.. I did this! I'm sorry." Celine cried.

"Never talk to me again." I say darkly and leave. I packed all my stuff and left Celine.

But in the inside, I wanted Celine to still be with me.

End of flashback

"Excuse me Scarlett? Have you seen Grace?" I see Cassy's head pop through the door.

"Grace? She's in her room isn't she?" I say dumbly.

"Okay great and I love cheetahs. Now where exactly is she in your room-" Cassy stopped herself.

Her eyes were looking at the blanket amused.

"Grace sweetheart. You have terrible hiding and we need you to get back to your room." Cassy said nicely.

"Look at me! I'm fine." Grace groaned from under the blanket.

She jumped out and stood there with her arms crossed.

"I never got hit. I hit someone away from Scarlett. I am perfectly fine!" Grace sighed sadly.

Cassy looked at Grace for a minute and gave in.

"Come on with me. Lets go get you signed out." Cassy said with a slight smile.

Grace grinned and ran out of the room.

"I wonder.. Will she find her mate?" I say smiling.

"I'm sure maybe one day. Someone amazing probably." James said thoughtfully.

"Not as amazing as you though." I say with a smile.

James kissed my forehead and smiled.

"I love you Scarlett." James confessed.

Love?

I.. Love him too. I'm sure of it.

"I love you too James." I say honestly.

"But after all of that abusing? How could you even consider being with me?" James gasped.

"I've always loved you. From over 16 years ago. Being kidnapped, being with Cato or nick, and just seeing you under that spell.. I couldn't fall out of love with you. James your the perfect guy for me." I say with a pretty big grin.

James smiled and he looked at me happily and hopefully.

He's my alpha mate. I love James.

"Hey Scarlett! Your ready to be released." A new nurse walked in along with Cassy.

"I'm Juli. I'm going to do one final check up and then release you if all is well." Juli smiled with a clipboard in hand.

I nod and hold James's hand throughout the whole entire procedure. I was feeling good and nothing else was wrong.

"Make sure to come back in a couple of weeks. In one week you should be up and running around. But if it's not okay, come see us." Cassy reminded me.

"Thanks Cassy. I'll miss you." I say embarrassed.

"Hey Scarlett. Here's my number. And I'm off work now. I can go with you somewhere." Cassy smiled softly at me.

I grin and nod.

Me, Cassy, Grace and James all get into a car and drive towards the pack house.

On the way I learned Cassy was indeed a werewolf. She's 24 years old and is mate less at the moment.

"Andy and Aaron! We're home." I say while being pushed in my wheelchair.

James pushed me around gently as he was worried someone would hurt me. Andy dashed down the stairs and stopped. He looked at Cassy and then his eye widened towards Scarlett.

"How!" Andy exclaimed.

"Aha that stupid Ron. But he's dead now so we're all good." I laugh.

Everyone sighed and I giggled excited. Life has been perfect for many people lately.

But perfect does not last.

What lies on ahead of us? And how will Aaron find his second mate?
