It was Toms first day off in a while, he'd decided to spend it with his girlfriend and start it by taking her out to breakfast that morning. They'd found a small café where, hopefully, they'd have a few moments to themselves.

"So," Juniper began after a moment of silence while they enjoyed their own food. "You know that phone call I got yesterday?"

Tom recalled when her phone had rang the night before while they were watching Bojack Horseman together. He nodded while putting a last bite of food in his mouth before putting his knife and fork down. The conversation had shifted and he could feel a more serious tone wash over them.

"Well, it was my manager and- I don't know why I'm nervous because I know you'll be happy for me I mean I hope you will be. Anyway, I'm making this sound like really bad but it's not I promise-"

"Love," Tom smiled and laughed a bit. "Just spit it out."

"Ok, well, Selena Gomez asked me to be an opening act on her tour next year and it runs for about 5 months and well I said yes."

Tom was quiet for a moment while he thought about what June had just told him. When it finally sunk in, a wide smile spread over his face and he watched as her nervous expression turned into one of expression and excitement.

"June, that's actually- oh my god, that's so exciting. I'm so happy for you! When does it start?"

"Uh March, I think. My album will be out by then and I think it's going to be really well received and I'm- yeah I'm excited."

"Why were you so nervous to tell me?"

"Well you'll be filming in Canada and I don't know- I guess it's stupid but you know, long distance, I dunno. I thought you might not wanna do that or you wouldn't want me to go or something."

"No, June, oh my gosh. I'll support everything you do, you know that. I've literally asked you to travel the world with me like three days before we left and you said yes in a heartbeat. I would never stop you from furthering your career and doing the things you want to do. You do the same for me of course I'd do the same for you. I love you."

Juniper was staring at her plate, holding in a smile before shooting her head up at the least sentence. Tom was still looking directly at her, not faltering his gaze or confidence in anyway.

"You do?"

"Yes, I really, really do."

"I love you too." Juniper stuttered and twisted one of her rings around her finger.

"Good."

So proud of you, love. I know you'll do amazing things. 💕
