《Ryujin Imagines (gxg)》I've never been happier (requested)

"Hi, my love. I'm home. Are you awake?" Ryujin asked as she quietly walked into the bedroom, carrying a glass of cold water in her hands for you to drink.
She set it on your nightstand before turning the lamp on. You stirred at the sudden brightness in the otherwise pitch-black bedroom but you didn't wake up, not even as she began to stroke your cheeks and forehead to feel if you were running a fever.
She wasn't sure whether to feel even more worried or relieved to find that you weren't feverish at all still.
For the last few days, you've been pretty sick.
She thought, at first, it was the flu.
Because you were vomiting and you had some pretty extreme fatigue, finding it hard to get out of bed on your own for even the smallest and simplest of things.
You also had hot flashes, some so bad that Ryujin would have to turn on the AC and turn on the fan on the ceiling, and you've had a few bad headaches, too.
But, it's been a few days since you first began to get sick, and still - you had no sign of a fever.
Not even a slight one.
"Baby? Are you awake?" She asked as she stroked your cheek.
But you just snuggled up with the blankets a little more and continued to sleep soundly.
"Sweet dreams, my sweet girl." She whispered and kissed your forehead, deciding that if you felt this sick you needed as much sleep as possible.
She went to the closet and grabbed a change of clothes - some clean pajama bottoms and a cozy sweater.
After, she turned the lamp off and walked into the bathroom, only turning the light on after the door was closed in hopes that it wouldn't bother you.

She debated on taking a shower since she wasn't tired and she's had such a long and difficult day, but she was undecided because all she really wanted was to curl up in bed with you and cuddle you close.
She decided to quickly brush her teeth and make her choice by the time she finished.
But as she reached for her toothbrush, something on the counter caught her eye.
She reached for it, sliding it across the countertop so it would be right in front of her eyes, and they went huge as soon as she saw the word on the screen.
Pregnant.
She noticed that it wasn't the only test you'd taken, either.
Upon looking, there were a couple more.
One had a positive sign on it, the other reading the same word as she saw before.
It took a few seconds before it sank in and she chuckled through the tears filling your eyes.
It made sense now.
It all made perfect sense.
She wanted to cry tears of joy and call up the girls and her family so she could share the exciting news with them.
After all, they all know just how much you and Ryujin have wanted this.
You went to a few different doctors and underwent a few different tests before reviewing your options and choosing the one that was best for the two of you.
Your dream of having a family together was finally coming true and this moment was even more magical than Ryujin imagined it would be.
But then, she realized that these tests had to have been taken a few hours ago and you hadn't even called or texted her to get her to come home sooner.
She wiped the tears from her eyes but it didn't do any good because they just continued to fall.

But still, she ran into the bedroom and ran to your side, shaking you awake as she turned on the light.
"Y/N! Wake up!" She excitedly said and you groaned.
"Ryujin, I'm exhausted."
"I know but you have to explain something to me."
You opened your eyes and saw the pregnancy tests you'd taken only hours before right in front of your face.
"Oh, you found them."
"Yeah!" She chuckled. "Why didn't you call? Why didn't get me to come home sooner?"
"Because I felt so exhausted and so nauseous that I just wanted to sleep." You said. "It's not that I didn't want to, I just don't feel well."
"Yeah... because you're pregnant." She smiled through her tears. "Y/N, it's happening."
You sat up and threw your arms around her, both of you letting a couple of tears of joy fall from your eyes.
"Finally." She whispered. "It's finally happening."
"It still feels so surreal. We've wanted this for so long."
"And, finally, we're having a baby." She grinned before pulling you in for a few kisses.
"I love you."
"I love you too!" She said and kissed you a couple more times. "And I love you." She said as she placed her hand on your stomach.
You played with her hair as she softly spoke to the tiny human inside of you.
They weren't very big, probably only the size of lentil at the moment.
But they're perfect and you know she's already so in love with them, just as you are.
"I can't wait to meet you." She sniffled before kissing your stomach and then looking back up at you, her lips brushing against your cheek. "I've never been this happy."
"Me neither." You said through your tears as you held each other tight, so ready to embark on this new and exciting journey together.
