《The Mafia Bride ♡》Chapter 35 {Thoughtful}

Catalaiya's pov:
The flight was smooth.
I had a cocktail to sip on as I read the new vogue magasin. I'm surprised that they even have this here, do they read this while they fly to another country to fight their enemies?
I inwardly chuckled at my thoughts.
We put on our seatbelts before the plane landed at our destination. We stepped out and they gave us our suitcases. Both Aziel and I had a large suitcase and a small suitcase. A car was waiting for us by the airport and the driver drove us to the beach.
I looked around and there was a walkway where a boat was waiting.
Are we going on this boat?
"That's our ride," Aziel said, confirming my thoughts.
We grabbed our suitcase and walked to the end of the walkway. The captain took the suitcases and put them in the middle. Both Aziel and I sat at the front, looking at the blue horizontal in front of us. The captain turned the boat around, heading to our next destination.
The fresh breeze, the salty smell, the sun shining on my skin was already making me feel happy.
Fifteen minutes later, we could see the island. The boat stopped at the edge of another walkway and we stepped out. This time there was a young lady who greeted us with a flower necklace. Mine was red while Aziel's was yellow.
"Welcome, we hope you have a great stay." The lady smiled. I smiled back at her politely.
We stopped by the main cabin which was like a front counter and Aziel went to grab our room keys.
A golf cart, medium size, six seats came to pick us. Both Aziel and I sat behind the driver's seat. The driver then drove us through the trees before we saw another set of sand and beautiful cabins.

I looked around mesmerised.
"Your cabin is on the other side, in the second cabin set." The driver told us.
"Will we have a golf cart?" Aziel inquired.
"No sir, but if you want you can ask for two bicycles." The driver replied.
Five minutes later, we finally reached the second row which had bigger cabins. At the fourth cabin, the driver stopped.
"Here is yours."
We walked to the front door and Aziel opened it. He pushed opened the door and stepped aside.
"Ladies first," he says gesturing me to walk inside.
I did.
(Living room⬆️)
It was a small living room with a patio at the front. I honestly didn't wait for Aziel as I walked around, looking at the rooms. I walked to the main bedroom and it was spacious.
(Bedroom⬆️)
I walked to the glass door and looked outside at our view. All that could be seen was the pool and the vast sea. Both the pool and the sea was making their peaceful sound.
I walked toward the bathroom which was separated from the bedroom by some curtains and I looked around trying to find the closet. Turns out that the closets were behind the big mirrors on both sides, which means that Aziel get one closet and I get the other one.
"It's nice."
I turned around and saw Aziel standing by the door frame with the suitcases by his side as he looked at the bathroom.
"Everything is nice," I commented.
"Where do we put this?" He asked pointing at the suitcases. I showed him the closets and picked the left one. The right one was mine. We didn't remove our clothes, we just kept the suitcases inside the closet.
"It's already 5:15 pm and dinner will be served in the restaurants around 6:30 pm. We should probably rest for a little bit, then go to dinner," Aziel suggested.

I agreed as I wanted to try the bed.
We walked to the bedroom and I sat on the left side, my back leaning against the bedboard. The mattress was comfy and so were the pillows. I glanced at Aziel and my eyes landed on his bareback. He removed his t-shirt, putting it on the chair before walking toward the bed.
I shifted my gaze onto my phone so that he doesn't find me staring.
He jumped onto the bed, laying on his stomach with both his hands under his pillow. He turned his head toward me, "It's comfy."
I chuckled, "It is."
I went through my social platforms to relax as time passes by. Fifteen minutes in, I looked at Aziel and he was sleeping peacefully. I put my phone down and run my fingers in his soft hair lightly.
"Hmm, don't stop." I heard him said making me raise an eyebrow.
"You are not sleeping, are you?" I asked.
He opens one of his eyes, "Nope, but I might if you keep doing this."
I proceed to remove my hand when he stopped me, "I'll take the risk."
I rolled my eyes as I went back to play with his hair. This time he kept both his eyes open and stared at me. His intense stare always makes me nervous and shy.
"Staring is rude," I say.
"Not if the person likes it." He added.
I hide a smile, "Who said that I'm liking it?"
"Your rosy cheeks." He smirked.
Damn it...
"Shut up," I murmured.
We stayed on the bed for fifteen more minutes before we went to refresh ourselves for dinner. I simply apply a bit of make-up powder, some lip gloss, comb my hair and wore my sandals. Aziel simply put on his t-shirt and comb his hair.
I grabbed my bag before we made our way outside. Everyone was leaving their cabin to go eat, so we weren't alone while walking to the restaurant. We went to the first restaurant and had dinner. We had some shrimps curry, some rice, mashed potato and some salad.
Right now we were back in the bedroom. I already showered and it was Aziel's turn. I stood by the bed as I read the new email Leo send me. I felt an arm wrapped around my waist before I felt his lips on my cheeks.
"Goodnight."
I tilt my head to look at him," Goodnight."
"I let the light in the bathroom on, it will give you lights through the curtain so we can turn off the lights in the bedroom." He told me.
"Thanks," I said sincerely.
"Turn off that phone and let's go to bed."
