《Baby Daddy》15. Muggles

I woke up the next morning to the feeling of someone playing with my hair. It took me a couple of seconds to realise that I was at Malfoy Manor and that I was in bed with Draco, in his shirt. When my eyes fluttered open and adjusted to the light, I turned around to face him.
"Morning gorgeous", he whispered before giving me a quick kiss on the lips.
"Good morning", I sighed, then turned to lie down on my back and stretch my arms out.
"Nice shirt", he smirked when he remembered I was wearing his shirt.
"As much as I love it," I began, "I'm afraid I can't live in your clothes forever."
"Who says you can't?" he yawned.
"I say. As comfy as they are, they're far too big for me and I don't think it'll be very appropriate for me to walk around with my trousers falling down all the time."
"Fair point", he said as he stood up out of bed and walked over to grab Indie from her crib.
"Are you free today?" I asked as he walked back over, sat down onto the bed and lay Indie in between us.
"Yeah, actually, I think I am. I have a meeting with that Dark Lord tomorrow, but none today as far as I am aware, so I'm all yours. What d'you have planned?"
"Well I was thinking we could go shopping", I replied. He looked confused and raise an eyebrow at me, so I continued, "You know, for clothes for me and Indie since we don't have any."
"I hate to break it to you darling, but there aren't many places I'm welcome anymore considering people believe I was the one who killed Dumbledore."
"I know a place", I said before giving him a smirk and telling him to get dressed.
-----
"I've told mom we'll be out all day with Indie, unless the Dark Lord calls, so she'll cover for me", he said as he came back into the room.
"Okay, good. You ready to go?" I asked before picking up Indie into my arms.
"I guess, can you please tell me where we're going now?" he begged, eager to know where I was taking him where we wouldn't risk people knowing who he was.
"Nope," I said as I gave him a quick kiss on the cheek, "you'll have wait until we get there". He rolled his eyes at this but I just laughed. I grabbed hold of his hand and apparated us to our destination.
Once we stopped spinning, we stepped through the door and Draco looked around, curious as to where I had taken him. "Um- where are we?" he asked as he realised he didn't recognise the place and hadn't been there before.
"We, Draco, are at Westfield!" I smiled as I looked around.

"Westfield?" he asked.
"Westfield", I repeated.
"Are you sure you took us to the right place because I don't know about you, but this doesn't really look like a field", he said, genuinely confused.
I couldn't help it, but I burst out laughing. "What's so funny?" he asked as he scrunched his eyebrows.
"Westfield is the name of the shopping centre we're in, it's not an actual field", I said as I tried to hold back my laugh.
"Oh, okay. That makes more sense. How come I've never heard of it before though? Is it new or something?" he asked as he inspected the area again.
"No, it's been here for years. We're in London, in the muggle world", I told him.
"Muggles? Why on earth have you taken me to a muggles shopping centre?" he said, I could tell he was slightly disgusted by being in the presence of muggles.
"Because, Draco, they have nice clothes and this way no one will know who you are and that you may of may not have just murdered the headmaster of your school".
"Fine," he huffed, "but we don't have any muggle money so I don't know how we are going to pay".
"Do you really think I didn't think about that already?" I said as I pulled out a bag from my trouser pockets, or technically Draco's trouser pockets which we just shrank to fit me.
"How'd you get that?" he asked with raised eyebrows.
"Whilst you were in the shower, I used my wand to convert a bunch of galleons into pounds, which is the muggle currency here in London."
"Nice thinking", he said as he wrapped his arm around my waist and we began walking. "How did you know about this place anyway?"
"My parents love muggles and are fascinated by them, so I came here a lot when I was little. This is where I did, and still do, most of my clothes shopping."
"So you've interacted a lot with muggles then?" he asked as I led him into a shop.
"They really aren't that bad you know", I said, scanning my eyes over the racks of clothes.
"I know. I guess I'm just used to thinking of them badly as my father always brought me up to believe they were bad and a waste of space."
"You are allowed to have your own opinion, Drac. Maybe not mention it in front of your dad, but when he's not around you can say your own opinion."
"Yeah I know, I'm just always worried about disappointing him and mom", he admitted. It was nice to see him opening up as I know he's had all of these thoughts hidden away in his head for so long.
"Well, we're away from them now so there is no need to worry. Let's just enjoy the day", I said, not wanting us to have to worry about what was waiting for us, or him, when we got back to the manor.

"You're right", he sighed as I began to take a couple of items of clothing off the racks to try on.
"This would look amazing on you, Lilah, you have to try it on", he said as he handed me a dress.
I inspected the dress and saw that it was a very, very short black dress. It was tight fitted and the top half was an almost see through black lace with a dangerously low neckline.
"Draco," I said after I saw that he was serious about wanting me to try it on, "it's very... revealing. It'll hardly cover up anything!"
"Yeah, that's the point", he said with a huge grin on his face, probably already imagining me in the dress.
"Draco!" I exclaimed, throwing the dress back at him.
"Fine, fine - sorry!" he chuckled as he caught the dress in his hands. "But can you at least try it on for me?" he said with pleading eyes and pouting his lips.
"Okay then," I snatched the dress back off him, "but just for you!"
"Yes!" he shouted, before fist bumping the air.
"I'll be right back, I'm just gonna go grab a basket", I said as I quickly walked over to the front doors again to get a basket to put the pile of clothes in so I no longer had to hold them and Indie at the same time.
Not even a minute later I came back, Indie now more comfortably in my arms, and saw Draco looking a bit awkward as a girl, probably around our age, was trying to throw herself at him.
I walked over and stood next to him. The girl gazed over at me with a look of anger and said, "Who the fuck are you?"
"This is my girlfriend", Draco said, wrapping his arm around my shoulder. I was shocked that he called me his girlfriend but I didn't say anything just yet as I could tell he was just trying to get the annoying girl to go away.
"She's your girlfriend?" she asked, looking disgusted. She then looked back over to Draco and said "What could she possibly have that I don't?!" Oh my gosh, the nerve of this girl! I thought.
"Many things actually. And one of those being my daughter", he said as he pointed to Indie in my arms.
She looked down in shock at the baby I was holding in my arms, only just seeming to notice her. I looked up at Draco and could tell he was trying to hold in a laugh as he smiled back down at me.
"Oh", was the only thing she said before she speed walked off in the opposite direction, her face red from embarrassment.
As soon as she was out of sight Draco and I burst out laughing. "How didn't she notice Indie literally in my arms?!" I chuckled once we'd finally calmed down.
"She was probably too blinded by my beauty", he smirked sarcastically, running his hands through his luscious hair.
I elbowed in the ribs at his remark and he faked being in pain, causing me to burst out laughing again.
When we finally calmed down from our laughter for the second time, I said "Right, I better go and try these on then."
Draco nodded and I led him to the changing rooms. I handed him Indie so I could get changed more easily, without having to look after her.
We were there for at least an hour as I tried on clothes, and walked the makeshift runway we had made for me to show off my outfits. I had almost finished trying on everything and I was down to the last item, which was the dress Draco had chosen for me. As the muggles would say 'save the best til last'. I slipped the dress on and, I have to admit, I looked absolutely amazing in the dress, just like Draco said I would.
I walked out of my changing room to see Draco bouncing Indie up and down on his legs as he made funny faces at her, making her giggle. This sight made my heart twist, and in that moment there was nowhere else I'd rather be. We were starting to feel like a little family.
Draco then realised I was out of the changing room and tore his eyes away from Indie to look at my last outfit. His jaw dropped and his eyes widened when he saw that I was wearing the dress he chose.
"Wow, Lilah. I-" he was speechless as his eyes slowly scanned my body from top to bottom, taking in every detail of the dress and how it fitted me. I could see his eyes linger for slightly longer on my upper chest area, before raising them back up to meet mine.
"What do you think?" I said, even though I already knew the answer.
"We are definitely buying that one", he smirked.
He stood up, Indie still firmly in his arms, and walked over to me. When he reached me he placed his free hand on my waist and bent down to lean his forehead against mine. "What did I tell you Lilah? I told you you'd-" he began but was interrupted by someone calling my name.
"Delilah?" the familiar voice spoke from behind us.
Oh no.
