《Baby Daddy》37. Again

"Your welcome", Blaise said after we told him about our pregnancy.
"What for?" I asked, wondering why he said that when we didn't even thank him.
"Well, if we had decided to interrupt you that night of your engagement, you may not have been pregnant right now", he said, smiling to himself.
"Blaise, she's four months, and that was one month ago", Draco corrected him.
"Four months?! Bloody hell, you guys move fast", he joked, making Draco roll his eyes.
"So did Pansy actually do that?" Theo asked, slightly changing the subject.
"Yeah, she did. I think she thought it would scare Draco away but she was definitely wrong about that", I said, happy that Draco stayed with me - not that I thought he would run away though.
"Oh, it all makes sense now", Luna said, out of the blue.
"What does?" I questioned, wanting to know what she was referring to or if she was just thinking out loud again.
"Well, on the second the day of school as I was coming to visit you, I saw Pansy coming out of the infirmary looking quite suspicious", she told us.
"I didn't think anything of it though," she continued, "I just assumed she got another failed Botox or something that made her face look funny."
Draco and I couldn't help but laugh at this, despite the situation.
"Wait a second", Cho said, turning all our attention to her. By the look on her face, I could tell that she was trying to figure something out.
"You don't think that she was the one that gave the details to Rita Skeeter about your engagement, do you?" she said.
"Or taken those... photos, after the engagement", Hermione added on, a little awkward and I turned slightly red at the reminder of those photos the whole school saw of me and Draco in our room.
"I mean, it's Pansy. It does sound like something she would do", Draco said, not seeming at all embarrassed at the mention of the pictures.
"Besides, you did do a lot of the planning in the Slytherin Common Room so someone was bound to hear or see it eventually, and that person just happened to be Pansy", Goyle said. It was all adding up.
"Actually, if I think about it, I haven't seen her in a while, do you think she's planning something else?" Theo asked.
"No, she got expelled", Draco said, smiling.
"Thank fuck!" Blaise cheered, "She was really getting on my nerves this year."
"Anyway, I don't think any of us have said this yet but congratulations guys", Hermione said.
"Oh yeah, congratulations", the others said. They were all so distracted by the Pansy stuff that they forgot about the most important and big thing we had told them.
"Did you say you were four months?" Gray questioned, looking down to my almost flat stomach as I nodded.
"But you aren't-" Cho started to say.
"Fat", Blaise interrupted.
"Shut up Zabini", Draco said as he pulled me closer to his side, protectively.
"What? I was just saying", he tried to defend himself.
"Madam Pomfrey said that some people don't show until later on in their pregnancies, so I guess that's why", I said.

"And what did your parents think?" Gray asked, wanting to know how they reacted this time.
"They were a little disappointed at first, but not as much as last time as we're now engaged. However, when we told them it was Pansy, and we weren't just being careless, they were of course incredibly angry at the Parkinson's, not that they've ever been close to them or liked them anyway. And now they are very excited to welcome their new grandson in June", I told them.
"Grandson?" Theo said, "so it's a boy?"
"It is", Draco smiled.
"Yes!" all the boys said in unison, obviously excited that it was a boy.
"I'm not sure I can handle another Draco running around having tantrums, one is more than enough", I joked, making them laugh.
"Hey!" Draco said giving me a playful death stare. "I'm not that bad."
"Your honestly worse than Indie sometimes", I laughed, causing him to roll his eyes.
-----
Just like the engagement, news travels incredibly fast at this school so, by the next day, pretty much the whole school knew about our pregnancy.
We entered the Great Hall with Indie as usual, but this time, as soon as we walked in, everyone stopped talking and turned their heads to face us. I said goodbye to Draco slightly more awkwardly then usual as I could feel everyone's eyes on us.
I walked over to the Ravenclaw table with Indie and, as I did, I heard people whispering my name, but I tried my best to ignore it.
Just as I was about to reach my friends, I heard someone cough and whisper "Slut" as I walked past them.
"Who said that?" Gray said immediately after he heard it, standing up to come beside me. The whole of the Great Hall went silent again, eager to know what was happening.
When no one answered him, he repeated himself, his voice raised, "I said, who said that?"
A seventh year Ravenclaw stood up from the table and replied, "I did, what're you gonna do about it?" He looked quite tall and buff and didn't seem to be scared of Grayson, so I was starting to get a bit nervous.
"Would you like to repeat what you said?" Gray asked, and I could tell by his voice that he was absolutely fuming, but trying to hold it in.
"I called her a slut bec-" he began to say but was interrupted.
"You what?" a voice I easily recognised shouted from behind us.
When I turned around, I saw Draco standing right behind me with Blaise, Theo and Goyle right at his side.
"I-I-" the boy stuttered, obviously nervous of the four boys.
Draco stepped forward and grabbed the boy by the collar, pulling him towards him forcefully so their faces were only inches apart.
"Don't you fucking dare call my fiancé that ever again", he spat, "Or I will not hesitate to kill you with my bare hands."
"I-I'm sorry, I d-didn't mean it", the terrified Ravenclaw said.
"Well then why'd you say it?" Draco snapped.
When he didn't reply, Draco let go of his collar and said, "I thought so", before swinging his arm back and punching the boy right in the face, causing him to go flying to the ground, getting knocked unconscious.

I didn't really know what to do with myself, or Indie. I do not want my daughter to think that violence was okay, but at the same time, I don't want her growing up thinking that it's okay to let boys call you those horrid names and get away with it.
"Mr Malfoy!" Professor McGonagall rushed over to inspect the beaten boy.
"We do not tolerate violence in this school", she said when she saw the state of the bloodied up boy, "That's a months detention!"
He didn't reply to the professor but instead picked up Indie and grabbed my hand and started walking us out of the Great Hall, even though we hadn't eaten yet. I was so shocked by what had happened that I just let him take me, speechless.
"I regret nothing", he smirked as we got out the hall.
It was April 16th of 1999 and I was now just over seven months and two weeks into my pregnancy and all was good.
Thankfully, there have been no more incidents like the one in the Great Hall a few months ago. I'm guessing it's because nobody wants to be in the same position as that Ravenclaw boy, who ended up being in the infirmary for two weeks, getting back to normal. Draco went to the detentions like he was supposed to do, but didn't complain as he always said it was 'worth it'.
Gray, Cho, Luna, Hermione, Indie and I were currently in the Slytherin stands at a quidditch match against Hufflepuff, cheering Draco on. We were about thirty minutes into the match and the score was 80 for the Slytherins and 20 for the Hufflepuffs, and so far there have been no signs of the snitch.
The Hufflepuff team have never been very good at quidditch, they're all way too kind and spend half their time worrying about if they were going to hurt someone by accident, so everyone pretty much knew it was going to be an easy win for the Slytherins, but it was still fun and exciting to watch the match.
"Go Dr-" I started to shout, but stopped immediately when I felt a sharp pain in my abdomen area. "ARGH!" I screamed out in agony as I doubled over and fell to the floors of the stand.
My screams drew the attention of many of the Slytherins around me and they all stopped cheering to see what was happening.
"Mama?" Indie questioned as she looked down at me on the floor, confused.
"Lilah! Are you okay, what's wrong?" Hermione asked.
I had only ever felt this type of pain once before in my life, so I knew exactly what it was.
"The baby", I managed to whisper out in between breaths before screaming out again, and I saw my friends faces fill with worry as they realised what I meant.
"Alright, it's okay. You and the baby will be just fine", Gray reassured me, but I could tell he was also saying it more to himself to help calm him down.
"No," I cried as tears of pain and worry started to run down my cheeks, "it's too early, it's too early."
I still had 6 weeks to go in my pregnancy, and now was way too early.
The commotion in the stands had caught the attention of a few players on the field. Draco stopped what he was doing and looked in the direction that everyone else was looking to see what was going on.
His eyes widened when he caught sight of me on the floor, clutching my stomach and screaming, and his face filled with pure panic. He flew over to me as fast as he could, no longer caring about the game. As soon as he reached me, he immediately knew what was going on.
"We need to take her to Madam Pomfrey right now!" he shouted to my friends when he realised the urgency of the situation and how much danger me and the baby were in.
"Mama?" Indie asked again, and her concerned face absolutely broke my heart.
"Grayson, take Indie, I'll get Lilah to the infirmary!" Draco demanded and Gray agreed without further hesitation as he picked up Indie safely into his arms.
"Take her on your broom, it may be a bit unsteady but you'll get her there faster that way", Luna said.
"Okay, hurry", Draco urged as he angled his broom so that I could easily be lifted onto it.
A group of people lifted me up off the floor and carefully placed me in front of him on the broom, so that he could hold on to me and make sure I don't fall off whilst I cry out in pain.
"Draco..." I whispered as he started flying us back to Hogwarts, as quickly and as carefully as he could.
"It'll be alright my love, just keep on taking deep breaths", he comforted me as he held onto me and steered the broom at the same time.
In no time, we were back at the entrance to Hogwarts and Draco was running up the stairs as he carried me bridal style up to the infirmary. This is just like last time, I thought, but I didn't have the strength to say it.
"Madam Pomfrey!" he shouted as he ran into the infirmary, "Quick!"
"Oh my gosh!" she gasped when she saw the state of me, realising what's happening, "But it's too early!"
"I know, that's why I'm here! You need to help her, please", he pleaded as he placed me down on a hospital bed and wiped the hair out of my face.
She took a quick look at me and inspected me before saying, "We need to take her to St Mungo's this instant."
I started to loose my vision as everything became a big blur, and the voices became murmurs. I could feel myself being move around, but I wasn't aware of any of my surroundings. I wasn't sure how much time had passed before my vision started to go black.
"Lilah, please stay with me, I can't lose you", was the last thing I heard before everything went dark.

Legends of Balarel - A Leisurely LitRPG
Glenn Redwood has longed to become an Adventurer since he was a young boy, and has focused every waking moment on that goal since turning 14. Answering the challenge of the Gods of Balarel, he has fought Monsters, Leveled, and grown stronger. Yet the day before his 16th birthday, the day he will earn his dream or lose it forever ... the Gods have made a wager. And no mere mortal wishes to draw the attention of the Gods. ***** This is my crack at writing a leisurely LitRPG. My focus is more on telling interesting stories set in a world where people live under a MMORPG-like ruleset enforced by the Gods, and less on writing another story where the MC gets massive stat boosts every chapter before heading off to wreck the world. There will be plenty of blue tables (it’s LitRPG!) but my Adventurers are just starting out. This fic is about the journey, not the destination, so expect everyone to Level ... leisurely. Updates: M-T-W-Th. I’ll post 3000-4000 words a day, or 12000-15000 words a week. If this posting pace ends up being too much for me, I reserve the right to slow posts down a bit. Inspirations: Blessed Time (Royal Road) Is It Wrong To Try To Pick Up Girls In a Dungeon? (Anime) Trails in the Sky (JRPG Series) MC: My MC is a genuinely good person who’s both a talented warrior and tactically savvy. He prefers to solve problems without violence but will resort to force if necessary to protect his friends or innocent people. I’m tired of stories starring anti-hero MCs facing endless doom and gloom, so I wanted to write a nice guy with an adventurous spirit who helps people in a thriving fantasy world. That’s all.

Rage: Crisis / Consequence / ???
Its been ten years since Seth was given his powers, ten years since his town was driven mad by that very same power, and ten years since its source was shunted into his head. A species of energy beings, a people filled with regret for what their entrance onto this world caused. Regret for the deaths that town perpetuated, the devastation they brought, the blow they served to the once proud heroes of this world. Heroes Seth now hopes to join, hopes to heal and atone to for what transpired. But their wounds run deep, their ire sharp, and their acceptance thin. And to top it all off... Seth's power is run far deeper than he knows, and sees his world in a light all its own. This series is my first foray into authoring, with two parts out of at best four if the readership stands. But part three will still book end nicely otherwise. And I'm not stopping till then. It is action heavy with varied and ramping up fight scenes through out. (Book 1 is heavy / Book 2 a little lighter) It is bloody in places, mildly gory in others, and heavily gory in simulated places. Nothing truly horrifying, I think, but be warned. It has trauma. PTSD is a major part of the story, but I will never trust that I got it completely right, so your mileage may vary on how believable or impactful it is. Lastly it has language. Swearing ebbs and flows as the story progresses and attitudes harden or soften. Sometimes bleeding through into the narration... somehow.
