《Skaikru ☣ Bellamy Blake [2]》Ambush?

The ride to Sector 4 was silent and it was unbearable. Bellamy couldn't see why Nia could tell him about Wanheda. But he was more irritated that she kept it to herself.
"You were right about Jasper, okay. Is that what you want me to say?" Monty was the one to break the silence as the walked down the tunnel to meet Kane. The boy thought that Bellamy's frustration was pointed at him because of Jasper.
"Quiet. Keep your eyes peeled." Bellamy retorted back his frustration getting the best of him. After a moment he realized how harsh he might've sounded to the boy who was concerned about his friend. "I could've said no." He offered hoping it might ease the tension between them.
"He's getting worse, isn't he? I mean getting drunk every night is one thing but smiling with a knife to your throat, that's next level damaged." Monty felt guilty about the whole situation. His friend needed help but how could he help him. They spotted Kane coming through the trees and realized he wasn't alone. "Who's he with?"
"Indra." Nia spoke up since for the first time the car ride. She made her way over quickly and locked arms with the woman.
"That's Indra?" Monty questioned. He had heard stories about the woman but had never seen her till now.
"He must've told her we broke the truce." Bellamy realized before going over to explain their actions. "Sir, before you say anything there was a good reason-"
Marcus cut him off the information that Indra provided him with was more important. "I'll deal with that later. This is about Clarke."
"What about her?" Bellamy asked. He hadn't seen or heard from the girl since she had left them after Mount Weather so hearing news now was a shock.
"She's being hunted." Indra spoke.
"By who?" Monty questioned surprised about the information himself.
"By everyone." Indra responded back sharing a look with Nia. Since their last trip into Polis, they knew it was only a matter of time till this would happen.
After explaining the situation the group got back into the Rover and left in the direction where she might been. They hit a bump causing the two Grounders to tense before relaxing. They were not use to transportation such as this.
"I'm still getting use to it myself." Kane tried to comfort them after witnessing their movement.
"Sir, we're almost out of range. Are you sure you don't wanna tell the Chancellor?" Monty questioned from the driver's seat. To him it didn't feel right not let Clarke's mother know about the danger her daughter could be in.
"I'm sure. I don't wanna worry Abby until we know something." Kane explained his reasoning which made sense. Abby had too much on her plate already she didn't need to worry about Clarke now.
"We know there's a kill order. You people are big on those." Bellamy commented from the passenger seat. His last sentence felt like a slap to Nia. She knew he still felt hurt by the fact that Lexa had abandoned them at the Mountain but he never showed it around her.
"It's not a kill order. It's a bounty." Nia fired back. She was still Trikru no matter how much Bellamy disliked it, this mean that she had a bounty on Clarke as well.
Bellamy sighed hearing her speak. He knew his comment would rub off the wrong way to her but with the news of Clarke his frustration only grew.

"Clarke's a symbol. She's known as Wanheda. The Commander of death." Indra informed them even more.
At the sound of the name he knew why Nia hasn't said anything about it. And if she knew she had kept it from him but how long had she kept this to herself.
"The Ice Nation scouts we killed asked about Wanheda. They're looking for Clarke, why?" Bellamy asked determined to receive answers from one of them.
"My people believe that when you kill someone you get their power." Nia spoke first emphasizing the my a little.
"Kill Wanheda and you command death." Indra finished stating for the girl.
"She's just one girl." The information shocked Kane. So many people after one girl to gain power.
"So was the commander." Indra began to explain the bounty further. "What Clarke did at Mount Weather weakened her. The Ice Nation is emboldened. Their Queen wants Clarke's power. If her people believe she has it, she'll break the coalition and start a war. I can't let that happen."
"Welcome to Sector 7. Where to now?" Monty announced as he kept driving.
"If she's here, she'll need supplies. We'll start at the trading post." Indra told them from her seat.
"Actually, we would only need to go to one." Nia informed. She knew that what she was about to confessed would not be taken well by those around her. She figure that Clarke had a few more days to herself before they would come in a scoop her up. But now it was a time sensitive matter and they needed to know.
"Before we got to Arkadia , we ran into Clarke. She was on her own and heading off in lands she did not know. She was distraught, I could see it in her eyes. She needed time to come to terms with her demons. So I sent her to the one place where she could find a sense of peace." Nia explained. She avoided looking at the others thinking they might hold resentments toward her. She knew where Clarke was and held the information to herself. "I sent her to Nylah."
Indra sighed heavily at her confession. Nia was like her brother in many ways and Indra feared it would be her downfall. She had tried many times to leave emotions out of fighting but the girl wouldn't allow herself not to feel. Indra was surprised that Nia had kept the information from Lexa. But a part of her knew that the two weren't as close as they once were and she hoped that they would mend their relationship soon.
Bellamy wanted to turn and shout at her. She had been keeping all this information to herself and from him. Clarke was his friend and she spoke nothing about their meeting. He had worried about the girl since she had left and now his girlfriend was telling his that she knew where she was the whole time. He had not idea how to process the information as he simply stayed silent.
Marcus was surprised to hear the confession. Then he remembered the times when Abby had been discouraged about Clarke's whereabouts, the girl would reassure her otherwise. He also understood why Nia was keeping the information to herself, the weight of Mount Weather had rested on Clark's shoulders. The girl needed time to find a way to live with it.
They hadn't been driving long when Monty suddenly slammed the brakes. When they looked out the front window, they saw a rather large tree blocking the road.

"We have to move it." Bellamy spoke up grabbing ahold of the door handle. But before he could make another move Nia reached out and pulled his arm back. Something about the tree seemed off to her and she wouldn't risk Bellamy going outside.
"Wait." She said her hand gripping his bicep.
"It's been cut down." Indra announced her spot behind Nia. They knew very well the things that Azgeda would do to attack people and this seemed like one of their tricks.
They all turned to look at the tree to examine it from afar.
"You don't know that." Bellamy interjected as he made his way to the turret. He stood and looked out front of him. A noise from behind made him turn. A large tree from behind them began to fall. The impact shook the Rover as Bellamy ducked back inside.
"We do now." Indra told as they sat there wondering what to do next.
They all waited anxiously for any attack but those outside weren't in a rush. It had been hours since the trees have fallen.
"It's been three hours. What are they waiting for?" Bellamy questioned, they were wasting time sitting there. Every minute could be a minute that they lost Clarke.
"Even with the light, I don't see anything." Kane said as he kept his eyes on the outside. Him and Indra looking out the back windows while the others stared out the front.
"I say we make a run for it." Monty suggests from his seat. Nia didn't like the idea but they had a better chance fighting outside then in there.
"No That's what they want us to do." Kane argued against it.
"The boy is right. They can wait longer than we can." Indra added in. They didn't have a chance at standing if they stayed put. It was better for them to get out and fight.
"Okay." Marcus agreed. "Bellamy. Get in the turret and cover us. Once we get to that ridge over there, we'll cover you."
Nia's head whipped toward him as he said it. She didn't agree with leaving Bellamy there while they ran.
"Copt that." Bellamy responded as he made his way to the turret. But before he got there he saw the uncertainty in Nia's eyes. He had been mad at the fact that she had kept things from him but the looking she was giving made him uneasy.
"Run fast." He told the others but the last part he directed to Nia hoping it might give her some reassurance. "I'll be right behind you."
The girl let out a sigh knowing there was nothing she could do about it. They had made up their minds but she knew that when she got out she would do anything to make sure Bellamy was with her.
They huddled around the door ready to move but before they could Bellamy was heard from above.
"They're here." He announced to them below and everyone's attention was pulled to the turret above.
"Everybody out or the boy dies." The person announced from above before Bellamy was pulled out a second later.
"Bellamy!" Nia shouted and rushed forward only to be pulled back by Indra. She had froze at the person's requested only to panic when Bellamy disappeared.
"Okay! Okay, we're coming out! Don't hurt him." Kane shouted not a second later. He figured if they obliged they would live to see another day. So he laid down his weapons followed by everyone else and grabbed ahold of the door handle.
As soon as the door creaked open someone from the outside pulled it wider. Everyone was yanked out and thrown to the ground and restrained.
Nia's left arm was yanked behind her and twisted as her head was pressed into the dirt. Bellamy saw the movement and struggled harder against the person holding him but couldn't get loose.
"All targets secure!" Someone shouted from behind. Soon another came up and hauled Monty upright. He pulled the beacon they had recovered from his belt. "Found it."
Monty fought against the person restraining him. "It's mine. Give it back!"
This caused the others to tighten on the others not wanting them to fight as well. But the added pressure to Nia caused to let out a small cry.
"Monty, let it go!" Bellamy told boy shifting his gaze from the boy and Nia. Concerned written on his face as he saw the awkward position her arm was in.
"Monty?" Someone questioned from the crowd. All movements halted as they looked to one another.
"Mom?" Monty recognized the voice but not believing she was actually standing there.
The person holding Monty released him as his mom pulled off her mask. The two embraced and were overwhelmed with emotions as the took in each other's presence.
"Farm station, stand down." Someone commanded them all.
As soon as the hold was released Bellamy hopped up and made his way over to Nia. She shoved the person holding her out of the way before helping her up and examining her arm.
"It'll be a bit sore but nothing serious." Nia reassured as flexed her muscles in her arm and moved it slightly. Bellamy gave her a questioning look before their attention turned to Kane and the person he was talking to.
"How many of you are there?" Kane asked wondering how many people they had gained.
"63. The rest are camped in the mountains north of here." The man informed before making a statement that made chills go up Nia's spine. "Grounder killers one and all. Am I right?"
The group cheered as some narrowed theid eyes at Nia and Indra. The two shared a gaze as they remained stoic in front of the others. Bellamy went to the two but made sure Nia was close behind.
"Hate to cut this short. We gotta find Clarke." He butted in partly getting back to their tasks but to also take the attention off Nia.
"Clarke Griffin?" The man questioned. "If only all my Earth Skills students were as good as her."
"It's good to see you too, sir." Bellamy socialized with him. But the presence of the man rubbed Nia the wrong way. She felt the need to keep her guard up when he was around.
Kane agreed before others went to move the tree from their path. When Bellamy left Nia made her way over to stand beside Indra. The two men talked as they listened in closely.
"The Ice Nation can be ruthless. Take pride in the number you saved." Indra spoke up after hearing about the lives they had lost.
Kane sensed the tension between them as thought it be best if they were all introduced. "Indra, Nia, this is Charles Pike. He was a teacher on the Ark. This is Indra and Nia. Indra is the leader of Trikru and Nia has been more than helpful to us. They are both trusted allies."
Nia watched his expressions closely and saw the distrust in his eyes. She thought he'd speak up about them but he held back his opinions.
"I'll have to take your word for it." Pike said skeptical about the twos presence.
Bellamy came back a moment later announcing they continue. Kane told Monty to give them coordinates to camp and the dread in Nia grew.
Just like Pike she didn't him either. But she had no way go keep their people away from one another. So instead she would have to sit quietly and hope that nothing would bad would come of it. But something inside her told her it wouldn't be the case.
