《Skaikru ☣ Bellamy Blake [2]》Can't Tell Him

As soon as Nia stepped inside of medical she knew that this had been a horrible idea. There stood Abby, Kane and Pike waiting for them to appear. Nia had hoped that Abby would be able to get them seen without others knowing but it wouldn't be the case now with them all standing there.
She didn't want Lincoln to get checked by Abby, seeing as how she could do it herself, but the look Kane was giving her was rather pleading. Lincoln was the first to get assessed seeing how his injuries were far more extensive.
"No. No charges." Lincoln declined after Kane had explained Lincoln's course of action.
"Lincoln, we need to set an example." Kane tried to persuade and Nia agreed with him. Lincoln should press charges because he had done nothing wrong and had gotten attacked. Not to mention this would let others know that they couldn't just attack whenever. It would help keep Jade and Fox safe.
"Yeah, we do." Nia supported. She had been angered at the fact that they would so easily hurt her brother with no reason.
"The man just lost his son, Marcus." Pike argued against the idea.
"Lincoln and Nia didn't do that." Abby stated finishing Lincoln's stitches.
Before anyone could say anymore the Blake siblings entered in a rush. Octavia questioned the situation before going to Lincoln's side while Bellamy lingered a few feet behind Nia. His gaze on her but she kept her gaze down. She sighed heavily when Lincoln declined again quickly before Octavia approached.
"Thank you." Pike lingered for a moment but it was a moment to long for Nia.
"He'll be fine." Abby informed them before settling her gaze on Nia. "Nia, your turn, come on."
At the mention of her name everyone's eyes settled on her. But there were only two that burned through her.
"No." She declined causing most to be confused.
"Nia-" Lincoln went to counter but didn't far.
"No, I'm a healer, I can asset myself." She argued back not wanting to stay she turned to leave but Bellamy was quick to grab her wrist. "I'm fine." She finalized before ripping her arm way and walking out.
No one made a move to stop her as they slowly left the room. Lincoln shared a few words with Octavia but before they left he paused and told her he'd met her outside. When he entered he headed straight for Abby needing to talk with her immediately.
"Abby, you need to check Nia." He said with urgency.
The statement and the tone threw Abby off for a moment but she regained herself and spoke to him. "She said she was fine, Lincoln."
"She threw up after we got outside. Something is off with her. The force I used to pushed her and the hit shouldn't have been enough to affect." Lincoln explained to her.
Now that Abby had thought of it she had noticed the differences in Nia. The quick movement when Abby tried to examine her before. Even the look in her eyes flashed when she wanted to examine her again.

"I'll try my best." Abby provided her best answer.
After she had completed her work she went around to try and locate the girl. It was quite difficult but managed to find her in the training room with the two younger girls. She was observing the girls as they sparred and would comment every other movement.
Nia had saw the doctor from the moment she entered but focused on Jade and Fox. She needed to be sure that they could defend themselves in close combat if it came down to it. But since Lincoln had become the trainer he had done a rather good job at training the girls in every aspect.
"That was good." Nia commented when she got them to stop. Despite them being different heights they used put up a rather even fight. Jade being the smallest was able to escape the holds that Fox had put her in. And Fox being fast got to a move quicker. She sent them to the room to rest while she turned to look at Abby.
"Which one of them sent you?" Nia asked knowing that it had to be one of three that had to have spoken to her.
When she had exited medical, it wasn't long till Alec had appeared. He had heard what had happened and went looking to see if they were okay. She told him that Lincoln was fine and when he asked about her she stayed quiet. He didn't like the answer and was insistent to take her back. She reassured him before leaving him behind and training the girls.
"Lincoln." Abby replied not surprised that Nia knew she was coming. The three men in the girls life had been rather overprotective and were always looking out for her well-being.
"If we do this Abby, it needs to stay between us." Nia requested almost silently.
The doctor was confused for a moment but nodded her head nonetheless. The two began to make the journey back to medical making Nia's nerves jump.
Abby took toward one of the rooms where she did private consultations. When they were there Abby checked over her vitals and did a bit of blood work before doing her physical examination.
Nia took a deep breath before pulling her shirt off. Abby was shocked at the sight on the left side of her back. The skin discolored and at a rather big size. Nia responded when Abby pressed down slightly. It wasn't till she reached the front of her stomach that she noticed it a bit distended.
She sight of it threw her off as she had often done check ups on Nia after training. As far as she could tell there would be no reason for her stomach to be that way. It wasn't till she remembered Nia's earlier statement that an idea popped into her mind. But she wondered if it might actually be possible.
"I'm not far. I just thought with everything going on, it'd be best to keep it to myself." Nia admitted knowing the thought that Abby was picking up on.

It was silent for a moment because Abby wasn't sure what to say. The news of Nia's condition was quite a shock but she knew where the girl was coming from. It didn't seem like the appropriate time to make such an announcement. But she also knew that keeping this quiet would be a problem. Nia would need to come in for check ups and with her avoid certain things would make it difficult.
"Are you going to tell Bellamy?" Abby question before walking over to another part and preparing a machine.
"It's not the right time." Nia countered as she simply lied there and let Abby do her thing.
A gel substance went onto her stomach before a device began to go over it. Nia took even breaths as she thought of all the possibilities swarming her head. Abby brought the girl's attention to the screen. It was black and white with grey distortions around.
"Everything looks healthy. The blows you took didn't do any damage. You can kind of see the baby beginning to shape." Abby pointed out the figure in the middle of the screen.
Nia's eyes watered the more she looked at it. Not once did she ever think this would happen. Yet here she is staring at her baby on a screen. But the timing of it all was unexpected. Azgeda had just attacked Skaikru and now Skaikru was acting on their emotions. This wasn't the safest environment at the moment. Nia needed to focus on keeping the peace and making sure her girls were safe at all costs.
Abby wasn't quite sure whether she might want a picture or not. So against her better judgement she print off the picture. She held it in her hand and out to the girl.
It was a moment before Nina even moved her hand in the direction. She let out a sigh and looked at it. She thanked Abby before getting her stuff and leaving.
The atmosphere around her wasn't the best since the attack and Nia felt like she was being surrounded. She needed a chance to breath. So she went to the room and grabbed her weapons and went to the stables. But what she didn't noticed was the shadows that were following her.
They didn't pop out until Nia was ready to board her horse. The girls looked at her questionably and Nia felt like she had been shielding them a bit too long. So she turned and prepared the other horse so that they could come too. With Jade behind her and Fox beside her, the three left the gates of Arkadia and went to the camp set up not a mile away.
When Pike entered the mess hall he noticed Bellamy sitting at a table by himself. The boy's head down as he thought of why he was pushing Nia away. His thoughts interrupted when Pike sat across from him. Neither one said anything for a moment.
"Let's talk about Mount Weather." Pike began the conversation. "I know you think it's your fault. Is that why you resigned?"
Bellamy nodded his head truthfully. He did think it was his fault that those people died. He trusted false information and let his emotions get the best of him.
"You're right. It was your fault." Pike said after they had taken their shot. Bellamy looked at him confused wondering what he would say next.
"Mine, too." He added in. "Every life we honored at that memorial was lost because we trusted a Grounder."
"I talked you into it. I knew her and I vouched for her." Bellamy argued wanting all the guilt.
"No, you don't get to own this on your own." Pike replied back. "I knew what they were capable of. When I let my guard down one day, and 35 of my people died."
The two recited never agains before taking another shot.
"Kane's a good man, I know you're close with him. But he doesn't believe that were fighting a war. He thinks Grounders can police Grounders. And now, they're in the woods outside our home, with a peacekeeping force?" Pike began to explain as Bellamy thought of what he was saying.
"What would you do?" Bellamy asked assessing the different scenarios.
"What I wouldn't do is wait for them to hit us. My scouts tell me that they've got 300 soldiers and not a single gun between them. Ten highly motivated men with automatic rifles is all it would take. I've got the men." Pike let Bellamy in on his plan.
Bellamy glanced around the room and began to noticed those watching them. Hannah, the guy who hit Lincoln and even the one who went after Nia.
"You're asking me to get you the guns?" Bellamy realized what he was hinting at and Pike didn't argue. "That's treason."
"That's survival." Pike argued at that point. "The Grounders out there will attack this camp and our leaders do nothing. Right now, we have the element of surprise. We wait, we die! Now, if they wanna call that treason, I'm willing to suffer the consequences to save our people. Are you? I know you have a great girl and even the young one, so tell me would you so anything to ensure their survival?"
The more he talked the more Bellamy thought it over. Their camp that held all their people. That held Nia, Jade and Octavia. And at the point where Pike brought Nia and Jade into it he realized he would do anything to keep them alive and safe. And right now, it was time to take that initiative.
