"Sectors 3, 4, and 5 sustained the worst damage. We lost the server room, all of our processors, and life support systems, and half of our living quarters. Now, backup power will keep the lights on at night in the rooms that survived, but we'll have no heat or running water, and no way to restore it and seal the ship before the radiation gets here." Monty began to list off all the damages that happened when the fire happened.
"Is there any good news?" Bellamy asked sarcastically seeing how they were screwed in any sense. His mind still wondering to Nia and the girls as they had disappeared quickly during the chaos.
"Well, no one dies." Kane responded as they were all gathered around a table in the chancellor's corridors. They needed an assessment of everything if they wanted to survive Praimfaya.
"Forget the Ark. It was never gonna save us all anyway." Clarke announced her presence.
Since seeing Nia the day before, she had remembered how she had helped her people when she was gone. She also thought about what Nia had suffered for that. It wasn't fair for her to off Azgeda sanctuary among them when they left all other clans outside, she knew that now.
"We need to focus our resources on the Nightblood solution. Is the fuel loaded?" She asked believing that their only salvation was lying in science.
"It's in the process, but, Clarke, it isn't gonna be an easy ride." Bellamy informed not liking how everything had shifted against them.
'What don't I know?" Clarke asked as everyone seemed to know something she didn't.
"With the secret of Prainfaya out, I sent Echo and my army back to Polis to keep the peace." Roan spoke up as he was holding onto what they had established in the woods.
"That's good. We need peace to distribute the cure." Clarke commented wondering how that was a bad thing.
"More than half of them deserted on the way. With the end coming, they want to be home. I don't blame them." Roan informed the details that he had not know the newest version of it.
"Do you blame them for burning Trikru villages as they go?" Bellamy asked seeing how the way to Azgeda would lead them though villages that Nia had informed him about before. They would pillage and raid them in fear of the end. Innocent lives would be lost.
"That's funny coming from you." Roan retorted back as he reminded Bellamy of his previous actions.
Bellamy stood straighter as the guilt crept inside him. He had known what he had done and that decision would stay with him for the rest of him life. He had lost so much because of it and Roan had no right to comment it back to him.

"Enough. We know the woods are a warzone." Kane spoke out not wanting it to go further. "After what happened with Iilan, I can't spare many of the guard to protect you."
"My security detail can protect us." Roan added.
"Thank you. That's very generous." Kane stated not expecting that response from him.
"We are all in this together now." Roan responded.
Once the meeting was at a close they went their separate ways to get ready for their journey. Bellamy made his way though the halls before finding his way to medical. Since that night he had been trying to repair his relationship with those around him but the only opportunity he had was with Octavia.
"You gave us quite a scare." He spoke up once she had been known of his presence. "You save so many people, O. Without you getting here to warn us Azgeda was coming, we'd be at war."
"Get out." Octavia responded still not wanting him near.
"Octavia, I thought you were dead." Bellamy stated remembering when Echo had come in with her sword broken into peace. Thinking she was dead before he had a chance to fully repair their relationship broke him. He wouldn't be able to live knowing that she had died hating him.
"Octavia is dead. She died when you killed Lincoln." Octavia's words still holding the pain that the event had brought her.
"Please don't say that, O. Hey, I'm you brother." He tried to get her to see reason.
"Why do you think you're still alive?" Her words lingered in the air as it brought dread in him. Did she really hate him enough to want him dead?
Those words stuck to him as he drove toward their destination. This was his sister who had lost one person. His flesh and blood, and if she was acting like this toward him, how would Nia be acting if she was still with them? She had not only lost her brother but her sister and her friend. Could he handle knowing that she wanted him dead too?
"Is it Octavia?" Clarke asked once she noticed how off Bellamy was.
"Keep your eyes on the trees." Bellamy responded not wanting to discuss the topic further.
"She hasn't forgiven you, has she? I told you it would take time." Clarke stated hoping it would give his mind some ease knowing that one day she wouldn't hold it against him.
"We don't have much of that left now, do we?" He responded knowing that their time was growing shorter and shorter. "Hold on. We got a situation. Looks like a Trikru checkpoint. Stay alert, show no weapons. Keep your passengers on ice." He ordered through his radio.

"Wait. It's not a checkpoint. They have wounded." Clarke announced once they were close enough to see. She saw some crowded around others as they came to a stop. She didn't waste no time jumping out of the truck.
Bellamy yelled for her which she ignored making her way toward the group.
"What is she doing?" Someone asked over the radio as their convoy came to a standstill.
"Being Clarke. No one else gets out." Bellamy responded as he hopped out as well. They needed to continue if they wanted to get there in time. They had no time for detours.
"Wanheda." One of them called out recognizing Clarke quickly.
"What happened here?" She asked looking over the man that was set on the ground.
"Azgeda burned our village to the ground. My father caught an axe with his leg. We can't stop the bleeding." He informed hoping she might be able to help.
"I'm sorry. There's nothing we can do." Clarke said once having a good look at the wound.
"Think maybe you can clear the road?" Bellamy asked as the obstruction in front of them was preventing them from going forward.
"Everyone, move!" The warrior commanded offering them passage. "If you're headed to Polis, we could use a ride."
"We're not headed to Polis." Bellamy informed noticing the kid that was getting to close to the truck for comfort.
"Nia's rallying Trikru forces. Broadleaf and Plains Riders are moving against Azgeda. We want in." He informed seeking for a faster way to get to their general's aid.
Bellamy's attention went to the warriors at the mention of Nia's motives before going back to the kid. Now the kid had made his way to the back, any second and he could inform them all about their cargo.
"Hey, kid, get away from there." He called out moving quickly toward him. But it was too late.
"Azgeda! Azgeda!" The boy shouted before running back toward the group.
The Trikru group looked at the in disbelief at the information. They freed their weapons causing Bellamy and Clarke to run back toward the truck. Bellamy started the engine quickly and put the truck in motion. The warriors standing in the way jumped out of the way quickly as they barreled through.
The warrior watched as the trucks hurried away with Azgeda seated in the back. He now knew Trikru's understanding with Skaikru was broken. He needed to inform Nia of the new alliance that had been formed.
It wasn't an easy ride toward their destination as they faced more obstacles. Just when they had gotten the truck back from the Azgeda warriors who hijacked it. It was an intense chase as they rushed to gain control. Once they had they continued onto the coastline.
"We're here. I'm gonna take the Rover back to camp." Bellamy informed knowing that he wouldn't necessarily be needed among them.
"Octavia?" Clarke asked seeing how the guilt was still lingering in him.
"Partly." He answered truthfully as he tried to figure out a way to try and repair his relationship with Nia. His first task would be his sister. "It's pathetic, right? She hates me but I keep coming back for more."
"She's your sister. She's blood. She'll come around and see how special you are." Clarke comforted as she hated to see how it was hurting him. "They all will."
"Clarke. If I don't see you again-" Bellamy went to express before Clakre cut him off.
"No. You will." She state believing that they wouldn't say their goodbyes. They would be able to live to see a future.
"We've got a problem." Roan announced drawing their attention. In one of the barrels was an arrow. "Trikru arrow."
Their chance at another option was gone. Not only that but Trikru knew their alliances. This would cause more turmoil among them making surviving among them more difficult.
It has taken time but the warrior had managed to reach Polis. There he was informed of two sections divided among them. Nia and Trikru warriors were holding the tower but some were joining the other clans in going after Azgeda.
He made his way through the streets before he spotted the healer. He bowed his head in greetings before speaking.
"Nia, Skaikru had betrayed us. They allied themselves with Azgeda." He informed drawing the attention to those around her.
"How do you come to this?" Indra asked wanting more information.
"Coming into Polis. Skaikru stopped to have us clear a barrier but my son had saw into their cargo." He explained bringing his son forward who nodded his head confirming.
"Then Skaikru is no longer welcome among us. If they side with our enemy, then they are our enemy." Nia spoke loudly. Seeing the group in the woods made sense. They were establishing a truce, one that didn't involve them. She would no longer offer them help.

The Complete Alchemyst book 2
Continuation of the Alchemyst book 1 Sometimes to be the good guy, you gotta be the bad guy. This is a story about Louis, a guy that was just trying to get along before he got kidnapped and forced to play cook by a Cartel. He's no Heisenberg, however. Now that he's out of Prison and put a beat down on some of the folks that put him away, he's facing the real pressures of Life as a single-person superpower: Everyone wants to use him for their own purposes. Along the way he's met a few girls, some good, some bad. He's looking to save the world, establish an evil empire, secure a future for the people he considers his, and maybe finally kill that damned superhero that started it all. This is not 'the boys'. Not all superheroes or supervillains are evil, The 'super' world is expanding to include aliens, magic, and the children of ancient deities and legends. This is NOT a superhero genre deconstruction. Many heroes truly are heroes, and they don't all need to be destroyed to make a good story, but it does look into the dark side of superpowers and the unreasonable and often contradictory demands placed on exceptional people. Please note that this book has extremely graphic and sometimes gross fight scenes, heroes as villains, villains as heroes, opinionated and often politically incorrect characters, some graphic sex scenes, dad jokes, dirty jokes, realistic depictions of romance and flirting, bondage and dominance themes, and more than a few cuss words when they are really appropriate.
