"Jasper, we can't find sit around and wait, for all we know Monty and Harper could be in grave danger" Anastasia yelled, so far Monty has been gone for only a few hours but they were already worried, especially after Harper.
"We're not sitting around!" Jasper countered, "Maya is checking for them" he continued, "Monty is my best friend!" He yelled back.
"Can we just all calm down" Miller stepped in between them, "We all are looking for them"
"No! We" Anastasia motioned to the group, "We are standing around, waiting for our people to come back" she stated, walking towards the door, "Well I'm not" she opened the door rushing out ignoring the disagreements coming from Jasper and Miller.
"Anastasia!" Miller called running after her, "You can't go out on your own when they are picking us off" he stated grabbing her arm.
"I can handle myself, Miller" Anastasia uttered placing a hand on his that was holding her arm. She slid it off, "I promise I'll be safe, but I can't just sit around anymore"
"Yeah I know" Miller responded, "Just try to come back in one piece" he uttered, before clearing his throat, "Wrong choice of words, just go find our people" he cheered as Anastasia headed down the hallway, making her way to the unmarked parts.
She thought her best bet was the medical wing, but she knew that if she tried what she did last time she would end up back in the psych ward or worst. So Anastasia planned that she would look around in the areas the surround the medical room.
"If I were a secret room where they conducted experiments of innocence kids where would I be?" Anastasia questioned out loud as she began opening up doors finding nothing but supplies.
"Anything I can help you with?" Anastasia turned around abruptly to find Dr.Tsing standing in front of her, holding a clipboard in her hand.
"No, nope, no" Anastasia fumbled moving away from the open door behind her, holding her arms behind her back.
"It looks like you're looking for something" Tsing retorted looking at the open door.
"Just bandages" Anastasia replied trying to clear up her mess. Miller's words echoing in her head, "I'm just going to head back now" she added walking back towards the dorm.
"If you need bandages, I can get you some" Tsing indicated towards the hallway, "Just follow me"
"No, i'm fine" Anastasia uttered slowly backing away. She hit a wall, a pudgy wall. Her hands reached back as she felt the built pecs of two men. Her hands were slowly bent around her back.
"Finally!" Tsing exhaled, "Follow me!" She urged the men as they carried Anastasia with them as they followed Tsing down the hallway. Tsing stopped at an unmarked door that Anastasia could've swore she tried to break in, but it was hard to remember completely because they all look the same. Doctor Tsing took out a set of keys pushing it into the lock. The door pushed opened to reveal a medieval torture room. Cages stacked up from bottom to top.
"Anastasia?" She heard a familiar voice question, coming out from on of the cages, where a mold of the human body was visible, "Ana!" Fingers popped out of the cage, as Anastasia was dragged closer to the front of the cages where she met Monty's worried glance.
"Monty!" Anastasia called out reached out to him trying to break out of the grip of the soldiers. She looked next to him catching the shadow of a body, finding a frail and barely conscious Harper curled up in a ball.

"Get her into the cage!" Tsing yelled to the guards gripping onto Anastasia pulling her back from Monty, "I'll deal with her later" she uttered walking out of the door.
Anastasia was shifted into both hands of one guards as the other wiggled the keys into the cage as the steeled down opened, as she was chucked into the cage next to Monty. Without even a second in between the door was closed behind her. The stomp was footsteps were echoing out of the room but it all was blurry, as Anastasia was struggling to comprehend anything that was happening after her body was bashed into the cage.
"Ana?" She felt the touched of hands reached out to her lightly shaking her gently, "Hey, Ana." The vision was slowly coming back to her as she could see Monty reaching out to her from his own cage.
"Monty!" Anastasia called out, "What's going on?" She asked him coming back to consciousness.
"They're killing us, using us" he uttered bitterly, "But not like the grounders, they're drilling into us, they keeping talking about extracting bone marrow"
"Guess they finally figured out how to live on the ground" Anastasia replied coldly, "Which means it's not just us at danger, it's everyone" she worriedly put, "We have to get out of here!" Anastasia reached for the bars yanking at them fiercely. She noticed the other objects that laid around the room, saws, cutters, and syringes, and a singular metal operating table. Anastasia could feel her death looming on her, but not just her's,everyones'.
"Ana!" Monty yelled, "It's useless, the only time it ever opens is when it's your turn" he lamented.
"Well we have to do something!" Anastasia yelled, "I can't die in here, after everything we've been through" she explained.
"Ana!" Monty called again, "Just try to calm down" he urged her, "Talk to me about something else, anything else?"
"Like what?" Anastasia breathed out, "Not a lot to think about right now, expect my impending doom" she sarcastically remarked.
"Tell me what you would do if we did every get out of here?" He questioned her, "and I don't just mean, this cage, I mean outside, the ground" he added quickly before Anastasia could say anything.
"I guess I would..." she stopped herself abruptly, "I'm not sure anymore, I guess I would go to wherever our people are, help out there"
"That's all?" He questioned jokingly, "Sounds boring" he added, "You survive this, and you plan on going back to your boring life."
Anastasia sighed, "I mean, with Bellamy gone that's all I can think of doing" she replied.
"What if Bellamy isn't gone?" Monty questioned, "What would you do then?" He asked her.
"I would find him, obviously" she laughed causing Monty to chuckle, "And then we would run or stay, or whatever, I doesn't really matter, you know as long as I'm with him" her words dozed off.
"How sweet" a hateful voice uttered with the slam of the door, they both turned to see that Tsing has arrived back, with assistants and guards, "Get her" she remarked to the guards.
They rushed over to her cage pulling out the key, the door swung open. Causing Anastasia to cower in the corner that she could find. She screamed in disagreement.
"Leave her alone!" Monty yelled shaking the bars as they reached in the cage with a needle, as the other held her down. The needle was slowly injected into her sedating Anastasia quickly.

After that is was easy to drag her out, as they placed her on the steel table while Dr.Tsing quickly stretched her gloves, holding the saw in her hands.
Anastasia could barely feel it but she still screamed. She screamed because she hoped someone would come for her. The drill began into her as she screamed louder this time not as a call for help but a cry in pain. The drill stopped quickly, the blood the flowing.
"It's black" the aid spoke, looking at Tsing who stared mysteriously at the girl on the table.
"Just continue" Tsing drowsy voice spoke as Anastasia fell into an intoxicated sleep.
Bellamy awoke in the the darkness, he was held back by a cage. He wasn't the only one trapped as he noticed the others, grounders probably, that were sickly laid into the other cages. Two were out of their cages but it didn't look like they were going anywhere, as they were hung upside down connected with tubes, knocked out.
He began furiously pulling at the bars, causing the others to become aware to him. He didn't care, his people were stuck inside the Mount Weather. Anastasia was stuck in Mount Weather, and none of them had a lot of time. A grounder girl covered in leaking bandages grunted something to him probably in trigedasleng because he had no clue what she said.
"I can't" he began breathily, "I can't understand you" Bellamy muttered. The girl leaned forward abruptly, with a hateful look in her eye.
"Sky person" she sneered roughly, Bellamy nodded unknowingly, causing her to hock up spit at him.
In disgust, Bellamy wiped away the spit from his eye, "I take it no one has told you we're not enemies anymore" he retorted rhetorically. The grounder girl feel back towards the edge of her cage, "I need to get out of this cage" Bellamy quietly added.
"And then what?" The grounder girl snarked.
"And then I'll kill everyone in this mountain" Bellamy retorted with anger in his eyes. Before he went back to shaking the bars on the cage roughly causing the sound to echo throughout the room.
Anastasia was placed back in her cage, the bone marrow extraction mixed with the sedative, left her feeling a different level of tiredness. She fell into bottom, focusing on one thing as she was stuck in a haze. She moved her fingers lightly in front of her face, seeing the blurry nails in front her was all she before she passed out.
The time past quickly that Anastasia was out, when she came too, Monty was talking to Harper who was out of her state.
"Does it always feel like that?" She abruptly remarked when she came too, causing both of them to turn to Anastasia shocked she was awake.
"Sometimes she doesn't give you the sedative" Harper uttered fluttering with her fingers, "But yeah, that's basically it, the feeling of "fading out of your body" is always there"
"We need to get out of here!" Anastasia snapped back, trying to shake the bars but her arms could barely hold on.
"I told you, it's hopeless" Monty sadly replied sliding to the back of his cage, crossing his arms of his knees.
"It can't be" Anastasia uttered.
"It is" Harper chimed in, causing Anastasia to fall back into her crate still feeling drained.
"Okay, well, Monty" Anastasia started causing him to looked up to her, "What would you do if we were on the ground?"
"I would try to find my parents" Monty blandly retorted, "If they made it" he added sadly.
"Hey" Anastasia snapped back reaching towards him through the holes, "I bet they did" she comforted him.
"I would run, get away from everything, or maybe join the guard" Harper remarked, "They have to need more" she added shrugging.
"I wish we could be on the ground again" Anastasia said her voice breaking as the others nodded.
Bellamy found his hands tearing at the lock, he was trying to rip it out but the way he was going it was no use. The only thing louder than him yanking at the lock was two beeps coming from speakers on the walls.
"Here they come!" The grounder girl remarked falling back into her cage. The door opened as two guards stepped in, Bellamy was still pounding on the cage when they walked in, "Quiet!" She yelled at him when the door closed.
Bellamy listened keeping his hand on the lock of the cage but her ceased his shaking.
The guards approached them, as they scanned the room before stopping at the grounder girl's cage.
"This one'll do" One of the guards remarked nodding to her as the other reached for a key to unlock it. In a moment of heroism, Bellamy shook the crate, getting the guards attention and their amusement, "Ohh, we've got us a live one" the guard joked nodding over to Bellamy's cage, as the other guard walked zapping Bellamy away from the front of the cage. The cage was unlocked and before Bellamy could kick out, he was zapped again and injected with a sedative.
Before being carried towards the contraption that held him upside down as he was stuck with needles, and attached to a machine. He was passed out due to the high intake of the serum.
Minutes passed till he came back still held upside down, gasping for air, as he looked around finding a girl kneeling down towards him.
"Who are you?" She asked him, Bellamy couldn't make out the words, he was still coming back to feeling, "You're from the ark, aren't you?" She added.
Bellamy nodded, "Yeah" he replied nodding.
"Do you know Jasper" she questioned as instantly he knew her name, Maya, the girl that Jasper won't stop talking about.
"Maya" he questioned. She nodded in returned shocked, "How about getting me down, Maya" he asked her as she agreed starting to yank out the cords. The door opened as Maya stopped looking at the guards that had arrived as Bellamy reverted to the way he was before.
"Lovejoy, hey" Maya remarked smiling stepping away from Bellamy.
"What are you doing here?" Lovejoy questioned closing the door, "You're not cleared for this facility" he remarked looking at her suspiciously.
"I know, I'm sorry" she apologized,"I just wanted to see what was so special about him" she referred to Bellamy, "But he's dead" she added pointing to the flatline.
Lovejoy walked over to see, "So he is" he replied as he walked over to the lever pressing the down button till Bellamy laid on the floor heading over, leaning down as he began to unhook the restraints on his leg, "You're a brave girl coming in here" he began to utter until Bellamy kicked his feet into Lovejoy's face knocking him back. Bellamy unlocked the rest of his restraints.
"Don't move!" Lovejoy shouted holding the gun in Bellamy's face as he scooted away. The room was growing rowdy as the grounders were shaking in their cages, "Don't move! On your feet" Lovejoy commanded, as he stepped in front of Maya, before she stabbed him with a scalpel causing him to drop the gun to the floor. Bellamy reached for it, but Lovejoy was already back slicing Bellamy with it. Lovejoy slammed Bellamy into the cages, as Maya ran up grabbing the gun off the ground holding it up as they boys fought.
"Don't" Bellamy yelled, "They'll hear" he added grasping as he was struggling to find the upper hand.
Maya just stood there shocked holding the gun as she watched them in horror. Lovejoy turned Bellamy around holding him down as he raised his hand with the scalpel towards Bellamy's neck. Lovejoy was stopped by the grounder girl who held his hand back through the bars. Bellamy wriggled out of his gripped turn on him collapsing his hands around Lovejoy's neck. Lovejoy tried to fight back as he clawed at Bellamy's face, Bellamy fought back biting at his hand, all his strength was focused on Lovejoy's neck as he followed him sliding down the cages falling from unconscious to dead in seconds. Maya watched in horror as she began to put down the gun staring at Lovejoy's dead body.
"Thank you" Bellamy uttered to the grounder girl with blood leaking from his mouth before turning to Maya, "You all right?" He asked the dazed girl, the look of her face reminded him of Anastasia when she watched him torture Lincoln back at Exodus. He instantly softened walking over to her lending a hand on her shoulder knocking her out of the trance, "Hey, you okay?" He asked her as she looked over to him nodding.
"I'm fine" Maya remarked.
"Help me get him undressed" he said turning toward Lovejoy's dead body walking over to him, dropping down, "We need to get rid of the body" he added removing the vest as Maya began unbuttoning the shirt.
Bellamy's finished getting dressed in the drop room before he slid the bottom down walking out of the room dressed in Lovejoy's uniform, pressing the button as a siren blasted throughout. Bellamy walked back towards Maya as he grabbed the radio placing it in the back of his belt.
"You've done enough" Bellamy remarked, "You should walk away"
"You don't know where you're going" Maya replied back to him disagreeing.
"So draw me a map" Bellamy retorted.
"No" She replied as she held out Lovejoy's badge and the gun, "I'm all in" she uttered as Bellamy took the gun and badge. Placing it in his waistband.
"Ok" Bellamy agreed, "I need to get to the radio so I can contact Clarke" he stated, "We heard Ana's SOS" he said remembering back to when he heard her voice, he would listen to the loop over and over just to hear her.
"I helped them set that up" Maya remarked, "I know where that is" He nodded getting ready to follow her, "Bellamy, your people are disappearing" Maya words stopped him, "three so far, Harper, Monty, and" Maya paused for a moment, "and, um, Anastasia" she finished. Maya watched Bellamy's face break down, "I thought they'd be in here, but"
"How long?" Bellamy questioned interrupting her, "How long has she been missing?" He asked again with urgency and sincerity.
"Hours" Maya uttered making him feel better.
"I want to see the others now" he changed his mind knowing that there was nothing he could do for Anastasia right now if he didn't know where she was, and if anyone else got hurt because he prioritized her over their people.
"The dorm is on the way to the radio" Maya replied.
"Okay" Bellamy started off towards the door again.
"Wait" Maya stopped him pulling him back reaching for his name tag ripping it off, "Everyone knows everyone around here" she remarked placing the name tag aside, "Put this on" she started handing him the hat, "Roll up your sleeve" she commanded, "Tracking chip, It'll trip alarms once we start moving, we have to take it out" she explained. Maya turned back to him with a scalpel.
"Do it" Bellamy stated as Maya nodded cutting into his skin.
"How'd did you know my name before I told you?" Maya asked him trying to distracted him.
"Clarke" Bellamy bluntly replied, "Clarke said Jasper couldn't stop talking about someone name Maya" he groaned as Maya smiled, Maya fished out a pill looking chip.
"Put this is your cage" she said holding it out for him, Bellamy took it after placing a bandage on his wound. He walked over to his open cage placing the chip in it.
"I'll come back for you" Bellamy said turning towards the grounder girl in the cage, "I promise" he added, before turning back to Maya, "Take me to my friends" he commanded as Maya and him headed out of room.
Anastasia banged on her cage as she watched Dr.Tsing getting ready to dig in again, this time with Harper. Hearing her plead against shook Anastasia to her core as she cried out for Tsing to leave her alone.
"Please stop" Monty cried, "She's too weak" he added yanking at the bars.
The drill started and Ana could barely face to music, it was stopped when the door swung open.
"Mr.President" Tsing stated as he walked in.
"Put that down" The president commanded, "Get away from that girl" he added. Other came in and Anastasia and Monty were revealed when the saw Jasper amongst with them.
"Jasper!" The called out.
"Monty, Ana!" He responded running towards them.

I underestimated her, and I would pay for my hubris. “For every death you have given, you will feel their pain.” What? “For every person you have killed, you will feel regret.” Wait, wait… “For every murder you have commited, you will know what you have done.” I don’t think this is going to be pretty. The power leaves her voice as she continues in a softer tone. “I will give you back what you have lost, you will feel empathy again.” Her power releases me and I fall to the ground. Diana. That was her name. I will remember it. ******** This story starts out somewhat dark, but it will lighten up after the first chapter. I tend to not enjoy the psychological tag too much since stories with the tag tend to be a little insane for my liking, but I feel that I would be remiss not putting it on this story, since a lot of it is about the psychology of the main character. All the content warnings are checked since I want to leave my options open to me for the future. I hope you enjoy.
