《Peter Parker field trips to SI and Avengers Compound!》Bullies Embarrassment Pt. 4

Peter followed behind Tony, wringing his hands nervously. His Dad had insisted they have a staff meeting with all the interns and heads of departments that hate Peter so, he could tell them off. Peter had pleaded with him not too, saying it was fine and he didn't care what they said. Tony didn't back down. He wants everyone to know what will happen if they mess with his cinnamon bun son, Peter.
He had secretly planned for the Avengers to pop out if anyone started to complain about, or insult Peter. He didn't even attempt to hide his evil plans from Peter. A smirk was so obviously plastered on his face, Peter began to worry if he was about to watch the downfall of all the interns. It would make headlines, 'Tony Stark causes downfall of interns everywhere with the Avengers and Pepper's help.'
They stopped outside the large conference room. Tony turned around and faced his son. As soon as he looked at the look of worry in his sons brown doe eyes, his smirk softened into warm smile. "Don't worry, Pete. If anything happens, I'll be by your side the whole time. Pepper and the Avengers too." He pulled the teen into a comforting hug.
"I thought we weren't there yet," Peter joked as he hugged his father.
Tony chuckled. "Of course we're there. You're my son for goodness sake!" Peter smiled, eyes full of stars. He still wasn't sure how he felt about the whole telling off all the staff thing, but he definitely wasn't as nervous as he was before. "Everyone's waiting. We better make our dramatic entrance now."
Now Peter had a similar smirk to the one Tony had previously held. Both smirking now, they put on their matching digital sunglasses. Tony's pair was connected to Friday, Peter's to Karen. They stood side by side, both in fancy suits, hands behind their backs, and ready to confront much of the staff in the tower, looking bad-ass.
Tony spoke, "Friday, it's time to start protocol Dis The Interns." Something popped up on his telling him that the protocol has started.
The doors swung open, and they began entering, walking in perfect unison. As they walked through the open doorway golden and red confetti shot out of hidden vents, blowing out perfectly around them.
There were gasps from all around the room. The interns knew there was an important meeting for some of the staff, but they had no idea that Tony Stark himself would be there! Some of them began chatting to each other excitedly. That's when they noticed Peter, and they all quieted.
Then the whispers started.
As Peter and Tony walked to the stage in the center of the room, Peter listened to the things they were all saying.
"What is he doing here? And why is he with Tony Stark?"
"Who told him he could just waltz in here like he owns the place?"
"He's not important enough to be up there acting all cool."
"He doesn't deserve to be his personal assistant. That high school kid shouldn't even be here."
"I worked hard to get here and he just walked in and was immediately placed with Tony Stark. That's not fair, he's probably an idiot!"

That's just a few of I many comments made by the interns. Peter faltered his confident walk slightly. His Dad noticed gave him a quick encouraging smile. Peter continued walking and when they made it to the center of the stage, everyone quieted.
"Hello, interns and other staff!" Tony greeted, "You may be wondering why I have gathered you all here today. Any guesses?"
"You're planning a project and we were all chosen to complete it?" Some random brave staff member yelled. Tony shook his head.
"Nope."
"You're promoting someone?" Someone else suggested.
"Not really, but sorta." Tony shrugged.
"Are you here to give a big announcement?"
"Yeah, that's one thing I'm doing. That's enough guessin-" someone cut him off.
"I know! Are you here to fire that scum next to you, aren't you!?"
A few gasps were heard across the room. They all hated Peter, but they would never voice their dislike to the Tony Stark. The mentor of said teenager that had just been called scum. Some giggled surprising the already shocked people more. They hated the kid but they were in front of their boss!
"ENOUGH!" The enraged voice of an angry Tony Stark boomed across the room. Silence followed, no one dared even move. "Friday who said that?" He asked the AI who immediately pulled up an ID on his glasses with the name, Mark Klaine, a college intern. "Mark Klaine, You are fired! Get out of my Tower! NOW!!!"
A tall guy with red hair and glasses got up and ran out the door. Peter could've sworn the kid pissed himself on the way out.
No one dared say anything else after that. That last kid was lucky he just got fired and not sued or murdered. Little did all the remaining members know, the kid was being threatened by some very angry Avengers and a terrifying CEO named Pepper with many, many lawyers and connections.
"So, as you all can probably tell, I mean business. If any of you insult my kid again, you better be prepared for the Avengers, my lawyers, never getting another good job, and worst of all, Pepper." Tony threatened everyone.
They were all so horrified that nobody asked why he called Peter his kid. In fact, that detail scared them all even more. Who had they chosen to hate?
Peter stood there awkwardly as his Dad yelled at everyone. What are you supposed to do in a situation like this? All he could do was wait for his turn.
Coincidentally, at that moment Tony turned to Peter, "you can tell them why we're here now."
Peter took a deep breath, "okay, we gathered you all here to make an announcement. Since you all work here we thought it was only right for you to know first." He explained to everyone. "I am the adopted son of Tony Stark and the heir to Stark Industries. If you want to keep your job you better stop insulting me." Peter stared at everyone, daring them to argue with him. And as he and Tony suspected, someone did.
"I bet you're some stupid charity case that's just here for publicity!" A bold girl with short blonde hair yelled with a glare.
"GET OUT!" Tony yelled. The girl looked shocked and other people were starting to get fed up with the situation as well.

"What's so special about this kid, huh? He's probably just another dumb, lazy, teenager who doesn't care about anything and is only here because of the money!" A boy with slick black hair complained.
"If you don't like my son, you can leave as well!" Tony glared at everyone. "Some of you aren't all you make yourselves out to be. Some of you just came out of your teenage years!" He scoffed, "heck, my kid is probably smarter than all of you!"
That earned a few eyebrow raises. Someone yelled, "Prove it!"
"Friday, what's the highest IQ in the room other than Peter's and mine?"
Friday spoke so everyone could hear, "142, sir."
"Now who is the person with the highest IQ in the room?" Tony asked with a smirk.
"Peter, with an IQ of 250, Boss," Peter could've swore he heard a smirk in the AI's voice. Everyone in the room was shocked. How could a teenager have such a high IQ? And 108 more than the smartest staff, no less!
Peter stood there, red blooming across his face in embarrassment. He thought this couldn't get any worse. Oh, why would he think that?
At that moment the Avengers chose to stumble in from multiple locations. Clint fell from the ceiling, landing not so gracefully in front of Tony and Peter. "Ow! Oh hey Pete. What's up?"
Peter didn't even have time to react before another one flew in. Sam came in through a large open window, obviously trying to show off because he kept do a whole bunch of flips and swoops in the air. When he landed, he stumbled and knocked into Clint who had just started to get up. Sam fell on top of Clint who proceeded to curse and they began wrestling with each other.
"Get off!" Clint elbowed Sam in the stomach.
"Hey! It's not my fault you were standing in the spot I wanted to land!" Sam elbowed Clint in the back of the head. That probably would've went on for hours. Luckily a certain Winter Soldier emerged from the shadows, grabbing Both bickering Avengers by the collar.
"Stop acting like children! You're supposed to be protectors of the planet!" Bucky growled at them. Clint and Sam just glared.
Next, the doors glowed red before bursting open. One actually fell off a hinge and became crooked, "oops," came the voice of the Scarlet Witch. She floated in using her powers, looking slightly embarrassed. Behind her Steve followed, glancing at the now broken door.
"I see you found the two trouble makers," noted Steve as he went over to stand by Bucky, who was still holding the two in question by the collars of their Avenger suits.
Bucky smiled at Steve, "yup, they were fighting with each other so I separated them." He shook his metal arm holding Sam, then his normal arm holding Clint.
"Hey!"
"You know, I really don't like you!"
Steve laughed at his distressed friends. This was a common sight for the family.
Peter heard voices coming towards the room and looked towards the door. Natasha, Pepper, and Rhodey were all drinking Starbucks and talking. They entered the room normally until Pepper noticed the door, "who broke the door?"
Wanda raised her hand slightly, "I did by accident," she explained. Pepper sighed, giving her a smile.
"That's okay, it can be fixed."
Everyone in the room was shocked. What the hell was going on? They were even more bewildered when a laugh filled the room.
Peter couldn't hold it in anymore, "you guys are ridiculous!" Everyone was shocked by his statement. He just insulted the Avengers. "Wait where's Loki and Thor?"
"They're coming," Natasha sighed. She was growing impatient, she just wanted to tell everyone in the room off.
As if on cue, lightening crackled in the sky, and green smoke filled the room. Loki appeared next to Peter and Thor flew in through the window Sam came in.
"Finally," came an annoyed Tony, "start your pep talk already."
Peter watched as his whole family went from smiling and joking to serious and scary.
Uh oh.
"It has come to our attention that you all seem to hate our nephew," Steve started. As soon as he said nephew, everyone knew they were screwed. Steve made a show of adjusting his shield.
"Peter is the kindest, most innocent, hardworking teenager we know," Bucky glared at the crowd as he spoke, his metal arm fully visible and reflecting the light in the room.
"No matter what happens, he always does what's right," Wanda smiled at Peter. She turned around and let her magic flash around her fingers.
"He doesn't get offended by any of our jokes," Clint played with his bow.
"Always participates in prank wars and other family activities," Sam extended his wings.
"He's always finding ways to help people," Rhodey patted Peter on the back.
"He accepts people for who they are now and doesn't judge them for who they once were," Loki smiled warmly down at Peter, then looked back up and glared coldly at the crowd.
"He makes the best and most helpful things that we use on missions," Natasha showed off some of her widow bites.
"He hates bothering people and tries to avoid upsetting anyone as much as possible," Pepper stated.
"He is worthy!" Thor boomed. That confused many people, but most were too horrified to care.
Tony stepped forward and wrapped an arm around Peter's shoulders, "he is my son."
"We all love him," They all said in unison, "and if anything ever happens to him, there will be hell to pay."
Peter gave them all his biggest and warmest smile before he hugged his father. Soon everyone joined in and they stayed like that for what felt like hours.
It was interrupted by a cough from an intern. He'd tried to hold it in, but his throat just couldn't handle it anymore.
"If anyone has any problems with Peter being my son and working here, you can leave. Otherwise, keep your opinions on him to yourself!" Tony scolded, "you are dismissed!"
Everyone quickly got out of their seats and rushed out the doors. Once everyone was gone, Peter let out a sigh of relief. "You're the best dysfunctional family I could ever have. I love you all so much."
"We wouldn't have it any other way, Bambi."
