《The Avengers Compound》Get Wrecked Flash (1)

Peter flops on his bed, groaning. He's in massive trouble. He's just promised to bring an Avenger to the class reunion. All because of a stupid dare. Flash organised a class reunion, and told Peter not to bother showing up unless he brings Spiderman. Peter, getting angry, responded saying 'would Iron Man be an alternative?' Flash then told him not to show up unless Iron Man literally flies him into the building. So now Peter has to convince Tony to take him to the party.
"Hey dad?" Peter inches into the kitchen where Tony is arguing with Thor about which pop tart flavour is the best.
"Yeah?" Tony immediately turns to talk to Peter.
Peter is blushing like crazy, wringing his hands and shuffling his feet.
"Oh kid. What did you break?" Tony sighs, already anticipating the worst.
"Nothing! I swear!" Peter hurries to amend, and Tony sighs in relief. "It's just I've been invited to a class reunion."
"That's great Pete!" Tony enthuses, but Peter isn't done yet.
"The only thing is, Flash, the class jerk, said I can't come unless I bring Spiderman..." Peter mumbles.
"I'm not dressing up as you, and neither is Thor."
"I'm not done. So he said that, so I said..." Peter hesitates, and Tony gestures for him to continue. "I said would Iron Man be an alright alternative?"
Peter shuts his eyes, preparing for the worst.
"So you want me to parade around in my Iron Man suit, showing off for a bunch of losers?" Tony clarifies, and Peter nods.
"Alright then. I'm in." Peter is very confused.
"Wait... You're not mad?" He asks hesitantly.
"Yeah, I haven't had a chance to show off in a while, it's been hurting my narcissism." Peter breathes a sigh of relief.

"Thank you so much dad!" Peter hugs him, thrilled at the unanticipated agreement.
"What is a class reunion?" Thor questions, throwing his arms around the hugging pair.
"My old school class is getting together for a party to say hi to everyone, and so that Flash can humiliate me even more." Peter explains cheerfully.
"That sounds interesting. I would like to join you on your class reunion mission." Thor smiles down at Peter.
"Really? That would be so cool man!" Peter starts jumping up and down. This is going to be the best reunion ever!
Peter slips on a grey hoodie and skinny jeans, pulling his vans on. He checks his hair in the mirror, still damp from his shower. It's gotten longer over the past few months. He attempts to comb it back, gives up, pushing it back with his hands instead. He pulls on his web shooters, now cleverly disguised as bracelets. Tony made it for him so he can wear them wherever he goes and not raise eyebrows. After mulling it over, he pulls the EDITH glasses out of their case, and puts them on. After one more check in the mirror, Peter races out of his room and runs outside, swinging onto the roof. He is met by Tony, waiting impatiently for him.
"Geez kid! How long does it take to put on a hoodie?" He teases. "Nice glasses, by the way."
"Thanks." Peter blushes.
"You should wear them more often. They really suit you, Peter." Tony continues, giving the compliment off handed. "We should get going."
He activates the nanotech, the Iron Man suit quickly covering his body in its hypnotising honeycomb patter.
"Where's Thor?" Peter asks, looking around for the big Asgardian, as if he could be hiding somewhere.

"He's joining us there." Tony's voice comes from within the suit.
He wraps an arm around Peter, who holds on tight as Tony takes off, flying into the night sky.
Flash has been leading the class in chants for the past ten minutes when the house shakes. Everyone runs outside to see Thor standing, absentmindedly swinging Mjolnir from its strap.
"Woah! Thor?" Flash exclaims, whipping his phone out, starting a livestream.
"Is Peter here?" He booms, and everyone looks around. "Well then, I'll wait."
"What are you doing here Thor?" Flash asks, getting closer.
"What is your name?" Thor questions, and Flash tells him.
"I see." Thor goes quiet, ignoring the stream of questions and comments coming from Flash and the rest of the class.
Soon, Iron Man burst into the sky, carrying someone. He lands next to Thor, and Peter steps out of his grasp, straightening his glasses.
"Hey guys, long time no see." Peter grins at everyone's shocked expressions.
"It-it's Iron Man!" Flash stammers, looking from Peter, to Tony, to Thor, and back to Peter. How do you know Iron Man?"
"Stark internship, remember?" Tony's helmet flips up, revealing his famous goatee and glasses. "Not like you'd know, you-" Tony starts forward towards Flash, but Peter holds him back.
"Ignore him." He mutters, and Flash starts fuming. Peter clears his throat, then continues louder. "Should we head inside? Or are we just gonna stand out here admiring Tony-I mean Mr Stark?"
"I think we should wait out here a bit longer." Tony puts in, looking expectantly up to the sky.
After a moment, the Quinjet roars by, landing in the backyard where everyone is standing. The back door opens, and eight figures start walking down the ramp. They file out in a V-shape, revealing Natasha, Steve, Bucky, Clint, Sam, Wanda, Vision and Scott.
"Sorry we're late boys. Traffic was pretty hectic." Natasha said, hands on hips.
The moment was ruined by Scott, who was a little confused. "I thought it was because, and I'm using your words, Steve, a queen is never late, everyone else is early?"
Bucky facepalms, and Sam punches Scott.
"WHAT! ALL THE AVENGERS IN MY BACKYARD? WHAT IS HAPPENING!" Flash starts freaking out, along with everyone else.
The Avengers start walking down to everyone, and Peter turns excitedly to Tony. "You organised this? For me?" He whispers, tears forming in his eyes.
"Of course, kid. Anything for you." Tony whispers back, winking. He places a hand on Peter's shoulder.

About the Novel Decimation - end of world Mortism - is a concept, where understanding of life is better after experiencing death Fitting title for my story i suppose. I like having quirky titles for my chapters. They may sometimes have spoilers and twists, beware. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- About author: I am new to writing stuff in general. I will probably have lots of grammar mistakes since English is not my first language. I am writing as a hobby. I release atleast one chapter a week. I planned volume 1 to be about 60-70 pages in my google doc. Character inspiration from myself. I literally have a brain that does not shut up. I do enjoy a lot of novels here especially : savage divinity and paladian. The cover page is my own design. I am happy with it, but feel free to suggest/show something better. I will try to do an art of my characters, especially Trevor, so you guys can also see what I see. But that will take a while. In the meantime, keep reading!

Rooms of the Desolate
Rooms of the Desolate is a collection of short stories designed to guide the reader through the many rooms and mysteries of the bleak and greyscale labyrinth of the Desolate. The first entry, "The Forever Tower" follows an unnamed wanderer climbing an endless, colourless tower; the only world they have ever known. As they slowly ascend alongside the masses, they consider the nature of their world and look to the corridors as temptation beckons. The second entry, "Production Line", follows an engineer in a boundless factory, who encounters a product that does not wish to bow to the overseers and makes them question their belief in the truth and duties they were made to believe. Content guidelines: Current entries do not include explicit profanity, but future entries may do so, hence the presence of that tag. Some entries do include gore and violence, though not currently to particularly extreme degrees. The Desolate is exactly that: a desolate world; as such, it is bleak, downtrodden, and may deal with mental struggles. Cover art credit: Adam Borkowski on Pexels.
