Ms.Bustier started the lesson after our "talk".
"Ok. I should tell you about what a chosen one has." She paused.
"What do you mean?" I asked.
"A chosen one has a mentor, a protector and two people by their side." I nodded and she continued. "You get to choose who you want by your side AFTER you find out who your protecter is. We usually figure out who it is within a week. Quick note, I am NOT your mentor." She said. I nodded and told her to continue.
"I will tell you a quick summary of the history of chosen ones. There has been over 2,000 chosen ones over the years. Each different than the rest. All either boy or girl. The most powerful one, however, was Tikki L'élu." She said.
"Wait! THE Tikki L'élu! OMG! She is my idol!" I said. Tikki L'élu made wands and dresses in her free time. She was one of the best. Her wand was crafted by her.
"Yes. Moving on... We know that she was in love with her protector, Plagg. She gave up her powers to save him. She died a few years later. Her daughter, Lele, is a possible candidate to be your mentor." She explained.
After a few more stories and lessons, we practiced my powers on nonliving objects. The bell rang soon after, signaling third period.
"Bye sweetheart! See you tomorrow!" Ms. Bustier said. I waved and replied.
"See you tomorrow!" I said before walking to my next period.
I met up with my friends and we chatted for the whole period.
"So Mari, what's it like?" Alya said not looking up from her phone.
"What's what like?" I asked turning to face her.
"She means, what was your training like." Nino said.

"It was interesting. I learned a lot! I learned about the history of chosen ones, how to use my powers properly, and about Tikki L'élu!" I replied. They nodded and the bell rang for fifth period.
At the end of school, I sat in my bed and practiced what I learned with Ms.Bustier.
Alya came in and I almost killed her by accidentally throwing a book into the wall.
"Sorry!" I yelled.
"It's ok, girl! Lighten up." She said punching me in the arm. "Wanna go to the garden?" She asked. I jumped up and ran to the door.
"I'll take that as a yes." Alya said before we ran to the garden.
We spent two hours talking and exploring the beautiful garden. We took a lot of selfies on Alya's phone and talked about what class we had first on Friday.
"Boo!" Someone said gripping onto my shoulders.

How to Raise Your Dungeon
A dungeon core awakens for the first time. It knows nothing, it has nothing, but it can hear something. Voices, whispering, talking, and sharing. For now, they are distant. However, it will "hear" any comments made on the most recent chapter, and these will shape its behaviour. It trusts you implicitely. This story is an exercise in stretching my creative muscles, so with each decision made, the options and opportunities open to the dungeon will change- some closing off forever. The dungeon will face threats periodically, and its fate in these encounters will be heavily influenced by your advice, though it will of course do its absolute best even without advice. It hardly wants to die. Heavily inspired by There Is No Epic Loot Here, Only Puns, though my approach to the concept is somewhat different from that work.
