Precious p.o.v.
When I left the cafe I headed home. I froze when I walked in the house as my parents were there.
"my mother roared at me.
My eyes widened.
"I said softly.
"she shouted.
"my dad shouted in rage.
Tears burned my eyes.
"I said sobbing.
My mom scoffed.
"My mom shouted.
"I shouted crying my eyes out.
I walked out the living room and up the stairs and went to bed planning on what I would do or say tomorrow and thinking about my mom and dads words. Maybe Skylar is right. Maybe they can do better. That thought burned my heart. It really hurt. I hope they could forgive me.
The next morning I woke up and got ready. I put on my white dress and sandals I wore when I first met them.
I grabbed some toast and quickly ate it then headed straight to school. I went straight to my first lesson and felt possibly even more nervous then what i was on my first day of school.
I was sat at my desk biting my lip feeling really nervous. What would i say? Will they even want to talk? Will they all be just as mad as skylar was? Is Skylar still mad at me? Will she ever be okay with me again? Do the twins still want me? Did they ever want me or was it just the bond?
All of a sudden a growl snapped me out my thoughts making me jump. I looked up to see them all stood at the door. My hands shook st how nervous I felt.
They walked over and sat in there chairs around me. Noone said a word all of us not really knowing what to say. It was awkward to say the least. Aria was about to say something when mr woods walked into the classroom and started the lesson.

The lesson felt like it dragged. If felt like we had been sag in awkward silence for hours but it was only an hour. The bell rang and I stood up packing my bag wanting to get away from the awkwardness as fast as possible.
I was about to walk out the classroom when someone pulled me back. I squealed not expecting it and came face to face with aria. The classroom door got shut and there was only myself, aria, jacob, Skylar and the twins left.
I stared wide eyed at them all. Skylar was still clearly not happy with me. I could tell by the glare she had against me. The twins barely even looked me in the eyes. Jacob was just staring at skylar and aria seemed to be the only one who wasn't angry at me. She seemed more sad then anything.
"aria said softly.
"I questioned.
"aria said.
"I said softly.
"Skylar said glaring at me.
I looked down and tears came to my eyes. The twins growled at skylar making her whimper. I could tell that growl had a powerful ness to it as even I took a step back from it.
"I blurted out.
All there heads snapped to mine.
"Xavier asked a little confused.
I sighed softly but looked up. I could tell they was trying to figure out if I'm saying sorry because I'm leaving them and not wanting anything to do with them or if its because i feel so have done something wrong.
"I said crying.
All of a sudden I felt arms wrap around me. I could feel the sparks so I knew it was the twins hugging me.
"xander said softly.
I sobbed in his chest.
"I got cut of by xavier.
"xavier said.
"xavier asks with hope making xander stiffen.

"I said happily.
They both hugged me. Xander hugging my front and xavier hugging my back.
"xavier said kissing the back off my head. I turned around so my back was against xander and my front facing xavier. I hugged him tightly.
"I said softly.
"xander said from behind.
We stayed holding each other for a while longer before all of a sudden we heard a squeal. The boys growled and pushed me behind them protectively but all it was is aria happily clapping her hands at us making up. I forgot they was even there. They relaxed when they realised it was just aria.
"I said softly.
Her eyes snapped to me and she looked down as if she was ashamed. Tears came to her eyes and I quickly ran and hugged her. She hugged me back crying in my neck.
"She said sobbing.
"I said with a giggle.
"Xavier asked confused but also a little angry.
I felt Skylar stiffen meaning the twins had no idea about her coming to me. I sighed softly.
"I said smiling softly. There eyes softened at my smile and they took my back in there arms making me relax.
Skylar mouthed a thank you to me. I probably saved her from an earful of them. I smiled softly letting her know its okay. I'm glad she did it.
"xander said in my ear. I stiffened at that.
"I got cut if by xavier.
"xavier said softly.
I sighed but knew I needed to apologise to cassie and kane for walking out the way I did. It honestly doesn't scare me that they are werewolves. Maybe it is because I know the real them before u found out or maybe I'm just crazy. Either way I feel safe around them all.
I sighed but nodded.
"I said softly. They agreed and we went to Carry on going to class for our lessons.

Epoch: An NPC's Tale
Epoch is a slow-burn LitRPG/Gamelit novel that tells the story of Luke, later named Lucius—a natural inhabitant of the game-like realm of Elyssia where thousands upon thousands of detached, virtually unkillable entities known as the Players were suddenly introduced right after the dusk of the magnificent Age of Heroes. Shortly after the Players arrived, the balance of power in Elyssia instantly shifted. Kingdoms fell, wars were waged, alliances between races were made, and Lucius, after ten years of training in captivity, found himself being used as a pawn in a prophecy that he had no intention to fulfill. With aspirations and desires of his own, Lucius must find a way to cautiously adapt to the drastic changes in the very foundations of the realm after being sent 300 years into a future that was forever altered by the outcome of the war that his captors had lost and the Players won in a victory that resounded throughout the ages, all for a terrible price. Author's Note As an avid fan of the LitRPG genre myself, I wrote this novel with character progression, heavy Gamelit elements, and some degree of world-building in mind. If you like these, please feel free to give this novel a try. Oh, and the MC is also an NPC, in a sense. And wait, isn't this also an isekai story? Well, it's all a bit complicated to explain here. Maybe you should start reading now?

Midnight Origins: Arrival
On a lush planet known as Bhar, Verun is now the leading nation in the development of the rivaled schools of Magic and Science. Having brought forth an era of peace and prosperity for themselves through the development of Magitech, The High council was eager to spread their knowledge and beliefs to the furthest reaches of the continent, with the goal of ending senseless conflicts and prioritizing advancements in Magitech and improving the quality of life. This ambition, however, is not without opposition. Most followers side with one school or another, believing it is superior in nature. This conflict dates back to the very beginning of civilization itself, where it is believed by both sides that their gods descended from the heavens, bestowing upon them the knowledge that would bring the world into a new age. And though some took great interest in their differences, others would seek to convert each other through any means necessary. That being the case, The High council, leaders of Verun, had made the necessary preparations to handle threats and attempt diplomacy between the remaining opposers. Talented volunteers were hand chosen to be among the military, tasked with protecting the nation from both internal and external threats. And although non-biological creations have improved quality of life, they are not yet capable of replacing the military. The necessary research and development for such a thing was thought to be decades away, until Councilman Eranor encountered an anomaly in his facility…
