After they walked out I sat on the floor for a short while sobbing. I couldn't stop crying. My emotions just felt so messy.
I heard a knock at the door making me quickly wipe my tears and stand up.
"I shouted softly as I could with my croaky voice from crying.
"cassie said softly with a sad smile.
"I asked concerned after seeing how stressed she really looks.
"she said with a giggle.
"I said softly. My eyes widened realising what I said.
"I was cut off by her small laugh.
"she rambled while crying a little.
"I asked.
"She asked.
"I asked softly.
"I cut her off.
"I said sternly.
She smiled softly at me.
"She said softly making me smile hugely.
I love going to the orphanage.
"I said softly before kissing her cheek and heading straight out for the orphanage.
As I walked into the door I could hear all the children running around and playing sounding so excited making me smile and instantly put my hand on my stomach.
I walked into the play area in the orphanage making all eyes snap to me. I heard gasps all around including from the adults.
"I heard them all say.
Excited squeals where heard all around making me giggle.
"I said softly making them squeal even more.
I could not stop the huge smile that spread across my face when they all raced towards me to hug me even if I wanted to.
For a short while I stayed and played with them. I did some of the little girls hair and I drew with them all. Even some off the little boys wanted to help do the girls hair and I found it adorable.
After a while I said my goodbyes knowing I needed to do some paperwork before going. Just before I went however a little boy said something making my breathing hitch.

"He asked softly.
"I asked softly.
They all seemed unsure but also excited at the thought making my eyes soften.
"I said softly making them all nod in excitement.
I smiled and said my goodbyes one last time before walking down the corridor to leave.
Just as I was about to walk past one of the rooms I stopped when I heard a sniffle. I frowned and listened carefully just in case I was hearing things.
However to my sadness I heard it again. My heart clenched hearing what sounded like a child cry. It sounded so heartbroken.
Slowly I walked in pushing the door slightly. As I walked in I noticed a little girl in the corner of the room sobbing her little heart out.
I slowly walked over to her trying to be careful to not startle her. As if sensing she is no longer alone she shot her head up to see who was with her.
Her little wide eyes widened more once realising it was me who was in the room.
"she stuttered bowing slightly.
I frowned not liking she is bowing at me. She is just a child.
"I said softly.
She looks at me a little longer before nodding.
"I asked softly.
"she corrected herself.
"I said softly.
She looked at me for a while before speaking.
"She blurted out before smacking her hand in her mouth in shock.
"I cut her off with a giggle.
"She nodded in understanding.
" She rambled making me smile.
"I said softly.
"she said sounding a little sad again.
"I said soflty.
She looked to be in a battle with herself. As if she was trying to figure out if she should tell me or not.
"she asked sobbing and whimpering.
My heart felt like it had been ripped into pieces. Tears came to my eyes but I pushed them back.
I walked closer to her and pulled her sobbing body to my chest. She put her face in my neck taking in my comfort.
"I said softly trying to not let myself cry.

Fragments from the Wildlands
“Your first death is always the hardest.” Miguela was the third-born child of a well-off merchant family and knew from around the time she could speak that her life’s path was already decided. She was to become an Orator, as was Xandran tradition. However, Miguela had an affinity with the magikal arts and somehow found herself studying at the Academy. She did just enough to keep up with her studies but never found the motivation to apply herself and “reach her potential,” as her instructors often said. It was not that Miguela was uninterested in the arts. Rather, she knew her time at the Academy ultimately did not matter. Whenever Miguela returned home, she would become an Orator, and that would be that. Or so she believed until, one day, an opportunity appeared that would change her life. Miguela was offered the chance to join a research team tasked with a mission of the utmost importance to the future of the Five Kingdoms. She could not turn down the prospect of regaining control of her life and finally finding a purpose for herself. Of course, Miguela might soon discover that offers that appear too good to be true are usually fraught with lies. Welcome to Five Kingdoms of Cordizal! Question: What is the Five Kingdoms of Cordizal? I often get asked this type of question about my stories by friends, bloggers, and potential readers. The Five Kingdoms of Cordizal is a high-fantasy epic universe that is the setting for most of my stories. The foundation of the universe is its multicultural, multiracial setting with several sentient races attempting to carve their legacy and survive. The world is fully fleshed out and vibrant with a rich and mysterious history not based on Tolkien mythology. This brings me to magic. To me, magic is an essential part of the fantasy genre, so, of course, there is magic in the Five Kingdoms universe. However, one critical part of the Five Kingdoms universe is that magic is an abundant commodity that is a part of everyday life and not some plot device used to drive the story. In short, the Five Kingdoms universe is the setting of epic fantasy stories with deep characters and world-building. I try to tell as many different types of stories as possible in the universe, and hopefully, you can find something for you in it.
