One afternoon, I was getting bugs for Golly. Mom decided to get me back to myself. My outdoor-loving self. So, I went outside, and, honestly, I was sick of it. It grew old on me, I guess.
I stopped gathering when I saw a moving van driving by. It stopped at Ms. Stanley's house! I vowed to keep anyone off of the property. I marched over there. A tall and rugged man, who seems to be Mom's age, was unloading boxes. Seeing me sitting on one of them, he paused.
"Can I help you?"
"You must go. Now."
"I can't. I bought it."
"It wasn't yours for the taking."
"Why that?"
"This house belongs to a friend of mine. Or used to."
"What happened?"
"Death of stroke."
"Sorry about that." He took off his hat.
"What brings you here?"
"Trying to restart my life." The man told me his life. As I listened, he was making sense. He finished by stretching his hand out. "Henry Carlisle."
We shook hands. "Gemini Welsch. Around here, everyone calls me Gem."
"So, Gem, do I have perimission to move in here?"
"Well, you can't start over without a house."
"So, yes?"
"I guess." I got up to leave. He smiled and resumed, unloading more boxes.

Apostasy - The Lost History of Goge Vandire (A Warhammer 40,000 fan fiction)
DISCLAIMER: The characters in this story are inspired by the background of the Warhammer 40,000 intellectual property that belongs to Games Workshop Ltd. This is fan fiction, and no challenge to their ownership rights is intended. Goge Vandire is a name written in to the annals of Imperial history in blood. Often literally. No single mortal has commanded authority on the scale at which he exercised it at his height. His name is as synonymous with unspeakable evil as that of the Warmaster, Horus himself. And yet he was just a man. Where did such a man come from? What drove him to the steps he took to secure power to himself and, once he had it, how did he come to misuse it so grievously? I have scoured the records - many of them once thought lost or placed under the unbreakable seal of the Inquisition - to uncover his forgotten story, piecing together his childhood, his apprenticeship, his rise to power and his descent into madness and death. It is not the story you might expect...

Fallsinkplummet;
The various races inhabiting the World have evolved from modern day humans after the discovery and use of a new source of radiant energy called Anima, stemming from the psyche. Under its influence, races with traits of previously fantastical creatures have emerged, who still resemble the humanity which gave them birth. The only exception being the large, mythological Dragons, which have appeared after the excessive usage of Anima. These Dragons are served by a race of draconic entities, with skin pockmarked by scales, and possess horns growing out of their heads. These entities--or the Kin, as they are called--are considered the most prestigious race through their ties with the Dragons. Urekin is one such Kin, but has regressed back to his human origins, something which previously seemed impossible. Wanting to get away from his old life and his inner demons, he made his way down to the Cleft, where opportunities abound. Release ScheduleEvery second Friday, 12:00 (GMT+1)
