《Crystal Blue Disguise (Avenged Sevenfold)》Chapter 31

Becca's POV
I pull up to Jimmy's house and head to the front door. He left it unlocked like he said he would, so I head inside and set my purse down by the door. I hear the shower running upstairs so I smile and go sit down in the living room to watch TV while I wait. After a while I start getting thirsty, so I head to the kitchen to grab a glass of water. As I open the cabinet, a spider the size of a golf ball leaps out towards me. I scream at the top of my lungs and jump up on the center island in the middle of the kitchen to get away from it. It crawls across the floor and seconds later Jimmy comes running in.
“Becca? Are okay okay? What's wrong?!”
“Kill it!” I cry out, pointing at the spider.
He shrieks like a girl and starts whacking it with his broom. Once it's dead he grabs a wad of paper towel and cleans up the spider guts. He throws it all away and comes over to me, pulling me into his arms.
“You scared the Hell out of me, you know. I thought something had happened to you.”
“A spider happened to me.”
He chuckles and plants a soft kiss on my lips. I can't help but to smile.
“The spider is gone now. You can come down from there.”
“Carry me to the living room?”
“Of course.”
He smiles and pulls me into his arms, carrying me into the living room. It's only after he sets me down on the couch that I realize he's only got a towel wrapped around his waist. I turn red and quickly look away from him. Fuck why's he gotta be wearing just a towel? I glance back up at him and he leans down with a smile, pecking my lips.

“I'm gonna go get dressed now. I'll be right back.”
“Okay.”
I bite my lip, watching as he stands up straight in front of me. I try keeping my gaze away from the towel around his waist, but my eyes are stubborn and go directly towards his crotch area. Dammit, Becca. Stop staring. He smirks at me before heading upstairs to get dressed. I sigh deeply, leaning my head back against the couch. Total embarrassing moment right there. But fuck I'm pretty sure he had a boner. I could see it bulging through the fabric of the towel. He comes back down after a couple of minutes and sits down next to me on the couch. I bite my lip, remembering what had just happened and look over at him. He smiles at me and takes my hand.
“What would you like to do today? Watch some movies or go to the beach?”
“I think I'd rather stay in today, so movies would be great.”
“Good. I'll go grab some movies to choose from.”
“Okay.”
I smile and watch as he goes to his shelf of DVDs to start grabbing movies. This should be a nice relaxing day in.

A young man born into a mountain tribe treads the path of a hero, but he must learn the extent to which he would go to keep his people and their fledgling god safe and happy.
