(Few years later)
I folded the last soaks and neatly placed them into the drawer. I sighed and turned round only to frown deeply at the second mess they just did.
This is tiresome and the maid had to be on holiday of all days.
"Hunter!" I had to call him, or else I was going to die doing this alone.
He rushed in looking already dead himself, his hair ruffled and tangled in all directions from the child-nado he must have gone through
"What's wrong?" He asked, walking in as he ran his hand through his hair, "got cut? injured? Where?"
"I'm fine, what happened to you?" I asked, picking the stuffed bears from the floor.
"The kids are a pain in the neck," he said, helping pick up the other items on the floor. "Lily and Tacce can really rip your head off, why is it that Scarlet isn't this wild?"
"They're your kids, what did you expect?" I chuckled as I dropped the toys into the toy box as he dropped the rest and gave me a smirk.
"I'm not as jerky as Grey is." He chuckled and I sighed.
"Right," I nodded as I folded Tacce's bed for the hundredth time. "Where-"
"Aaaaaah!" Lily ran in, leaping on the bed I had just finished and struggled, wrapping the cover all around herself.
I folded my hands and shot Hunter a joking glare and all he did was chuckle.
Tacce ran in seconds later with Scarlet trailing behind, both holding up water balloons. I screamed and ran for them before they could throw it all over the place.
"No!" I shook my head, taking the four balloons from them. "No water balloons!"
"Aw! Mum!" Tacce whined and Scarlet simply stared, holding her hands behind her back and gently rocked herself in silence.

"No." I walked to the window the threw them out.
"Listen to mummy." Hunter said with a wife smile and Tacce frowned, folding his arms in baby anger.
Scarlet was so quiet for a six year old, Tacce was born a year after and lily two years later. Grey had been coming like he promised, though it was worse the more the years collapsed, he hadn't come for a month now and I was getting worried, Scarlet knows too well Grey was her real father and not Hunter, so she didn't really like Hunter due to the fact that he sometimes gets into nasty arguments with Grey.
About?
Silly things alright.
That Hunter has two and Grey only one.
I'm a being too but all they want is to compete.
"Scarlet, take Tacce and go do something else okay?" I said and she nodded, grabbing hold of Tacce's collar and dragging him out.
"Is it me or is she becoming so quiet?" Hunter asked and I nodded.
"Maybe because Grey hasn't come since last month." I said and he frowned, furrowing his brows.
"She sometimes doesn't even look at me, she doesn't talk to me, it's like she hates me." He said as he folded his arms.
"She'll grow to like you, don't worry." I patted his shoulder and he sighed, smiling weakly.
"I'll tuck her in today, maybe make her feel loved on both sides?" He smiled and I nodded in agreement, giving him a small kiss on the cheek.
"That's so sweet of you," I whispered and he chuckled.
"Scarlet won't like that," I had completely forgotten Lily at the moment. She was still wrapped in the blanket and wasn't getting out of it any moment. "She pways for her daddy to come back, she won't listen to my daddy." She said, yawning as she slowly closed her eyes.

I chuckled and walked to the bed, gently picking her off the bed and into my arms. She was completely tired and didn't bother to say much.
"Lily don't sleep now, its dinner time." I shook her gently.
"But I'm tired." She whined and I chuckled, taking her out of the bedroom, Hunter followed behind.
"I'm tired too, will you carry me?" Hunter asked her and she giggled softly as he poked her nose.
"I can't carry you." she giggled, trying to reach out and poke his nose.
