He placed a very cute teddy bear next to lily and what seemed like a game console next to Tacce. After a few seconds, He stood up and sighed out.
"Is Scarlet awake?" He asked and I nodded with a smile as we quietly walked out. I opened the door to Scarlet's room and I walked in first, seconded by Grey.
Scarlet didn't take long to notice Grey as she screamed in excitement as she got off her bed and ran right into Grey's arms.
"You came!" She giggled excitedly, not letting go for a second. "I missed you daddy."
"I missed you too baby," Grey said, lifting her off the ground and kissed her forehead before putting her back down and knelt in front of her. "Daddy brought you a little gift for not showing up."
Scarlet clapped excitedly as Grey gave her the bag.
"You can use that for school hm? " he asked and she nodded, unzipping the bag to see what was in it.
"Oh Daddy!" She screamed so loud with joy as she pulled out a tablet. "Thank you!" She hugged him tightly and I giggled as Hunter simply watched. "I love you daddy!"
"I love you too, there plenty games in there, so you won't get bored. If you click here-" he opened the phone app, "you can talk to me, if you want to see me when we're talking, click this button, okay? Then you'll see me,"
"Why can't you stay?" She frowned and he kissed her cheek playfully.
"Daddy has work." Was all he said before looking at me then towards Hunter but didn't say a thing to him.
"Its not fair!" Scarlet whined, "why does Tacce and Lily's father stay here and not you? You should stay too, I want to take you to my ballet show this Friday."

"Oh..." He frowned and I knew that wasn't a good thing. "Geez sweetheart, I have a lot of work on Friday."
Scarlet frowned and turned away, folding her hands as tears sparkled in her eyes.
"Hey, at least Daddy number two is here right?" He asked her, rubbing her shoulders gently.
"It's not fair," she said, shrugging her shoulders, "I'll stop listening to you since you just want to leave me again."
"I'll stay here if you want, only for tonight, I have to go in the morning," he said, trying to get back his daughter's trust. "We'll sleep together, how about that?"
"Okay," she finally loosened and sighed then glanced at Hunter but didn't say anything. "But its still not fair."
"Sweetie," Grey chuckled, carrying her off the ground and sat her down on her bed, tucking her in. "I'll be back okay? Give me five minutes." He said before turning to us and motioned with his head for us to go out with him.
Once I closed the door to her room, Grey sighed and shot Hunter a glare.
"What did you do?" Was what he asked Hunter first and I groaned. This again.
"Do what? " Hunter asked, getting annoyed.
"She doesn't seem happy, it's either you don't attend to her or you mostly listen to your own kids and leave her in the shadows." Grey frowned deeply as he furrowed his brows. "If I had the option, I'd take her with me."
"Excuse me?" I asked in anger. "She's mine too you know?"
"Just for a while," he said with a sigh, "honestly, she looks left out, like she needs me too much, that just shows that you're not always there for her, Emily."

"I'm there for her one step ahead," I said, defending myself, "nowadays I'm usually caught up in night shifts and it's hard, I find her asleep by then."
"Hunter."
"It's my fault," Hunter admitted, frowning deeply and let out a sigh. "I wasn't a good dad and she told me just an hour or so ago, that I was being unfair, treating Tacce and Lily properly and not her. I didn't notice, to be honest, I didn't notice she needed me to give her the same love I give the others." He said and looked Grey in the eyes. "But trust me, I'm trying, she's slightly forgiven me, and I know it's a long way to go. "
"Just be there for her, you can't keep treating Tacce and Lily differently from Scarlet, I know she can't express all her feelings all at once and she's scared to trust someone, it happens to me, a lot. She wants to be with me but it's dangerous and they'll know she's alive and try to kill her, for now be her dad, maybe lay off the tension on her shoulders." Grey said as he ran his hand through his hair. "I'm supposed to go back right now, but I guess I can spare some hours, keep the guards waiting a bit. I'll just sneak out when she's asleep Hunter, be there for her on Friday." Grey warned and before Hunter would say anything, he was already in Scarlet's room and closed the door instantly.

A beta life
I heard the boys voice before i saw his face. It sounded like the smooth rehearsed kind of voice you hear in the movies, from the dream boat lead character with the too-good-to-be-true looks. I raised my eyes to search for the owner of the beautiful sound. My eyes met his just as he came into view.He stopped in his tracks, bumping into one of the med students he was following, staring straight at Me. "Mate" he said just loud enough for the huge man behind him to stop and stare in the direction of the boys gaze.I felt a sickening feeling deep in my stomach. I had never felt anything like it before, the instant feeling of nausea followed by what i can only describe as a rush of emotion. What a trip. The meds are extra strong today I laughed to myself as I continued to stare at the beautiful dark haired boy. This institution just got a whole lot better if he is a patient
