Finally it's the weekend, I don't have to deal with Felix or anyone but now I'm going to be all alone.

'Ring' 'ring'

I look at my phone to see Lucy calling me, she does this every once in awhile to make sure I'm okay. She feels like family to me now.

"Hello" I answer

"Hey how are you?" She says

"Good"

"So how's the new school and house?" She asks me

I know I can't tell her exactly how I feel because she'll tell aunt Lora.

"Still getting used to everything and trying to meet people and the house is fine normal"

"That's good to hear" she laughs a little

"How's Sophie?" I ask her

"She still getting used to everything too" she sighs

"It will take awhile"

"She asks about you. she likes you" Lucy tells me

"I miss you guys"

"Well when the holidays come up we need to get together and celebrate" she says

"That sounds good ill tell aunt Lora"

"Well I better go just wanted to check up on you"

"Thanks" I smile appreciating it

"Call me if you need anything" she insists

"I will. Bye"

"Bye"

I feel like sometimes all everyone does is worry about me thinking I'm going to have a breakdown or something.

I decided I didn't want to stay at the house all by myself so I get dress and go into town to explore.

I go to a couple antique shops and then a clothing store.

I'm still not ready to go home yet so I stop at a local coffee shop.

"Hi can I have a mocha frappe" I tell the barista

"You got it" she says and goes and makes it

I go and sit at one of the empty chairs, this place is kinda crowded.

"Do you mind if I sit here?" I look up to see a guy probably in his 30s

"Yeah sure" I say since there's not a lot of seating options

"You having a good day?" He asks me as he sits down next to me

"Um yeah. You?" I say being polite

"Yeah busy" he laughs a little

"Work?" I ask for some reason

"You could say that" he smiles

"I'm Jared" he puts his hand out for me to shake

"Jess" I shake it

"Nice to meet you" he says "I don't think I've seen you before are you new around here?"

"Uh yeah just moved here with my aunt" I tell him

"Well welcome it's a nice town" Jared says

"Yeah" I nod

"Pretty dull" he laughs, I chuckle agreeing

"But don't let the appearance fool you it's more lively than you think" he say as he looks away

I can't tell if he's creepy or just a nice guy?

I hear the barista call his name.

"That's me" he stands up and grabs his coffee he turns to me

"Uh nice meeting you" I say

"Nice to meet you to Jess" he stares at me like he knows all my secrets, i look away and he leaves

That was weird.
