《This Gift I Was Given (The Boys That Lives In My House)》Chapter 16

I would think that maybe me and Felix are going to be somewhat friends but I'm sure by tomorrow he'll be the same jerk he always is.
"Where have you been?" Aunt Lora comes into the living room as I walk in I can tell she was worried
"Sorry I was at the cemetery" I tell her feeling bad for not letting her know
"O" is all she says, I know she still not used to the whole idea of me being able to talk to ghost "did you walk all the way from the cemetery in the pouring rain?"
"Uh no Felix uh he saw me and picked me up" I tell her
"O?" She smirks and I see her look at the shirt I'm wearing obviously a guy shirt
"Stop" I tell her but laugh a little
"I'm not saying anything" she raises her hands in surrender "okay go put on some dry clothes"
"Yes ma'am"
I go take a shower and put some comfortable clothes on, i put Felix shirt on my dresser I'll give it to him whenever I get the chance or I just might keep the shirt it's really comfortable and it smells good.
I can't help but think about what I said how I honestly don't think about my future or what I want to do? I think I've been this way Ever since my parents died, maybe because I know it could all end tomorrow or I know I shouldn't get my hopes up. That's why I honestly a little hesitant about making new friends because that's more people that I could lose.
I call Mary because she always makes me feel better.
"Hello" she yells, where ever she's at its loud
"Hey are you busy?" I ask
"I'm at a party actually"
"O" is all I say
"Can you get me another drink babe?" I hear her say to Eli
"I guess I'll let you go" I tell her
"Yeah I'll call you back" she says and hangs up
I wonder if they are slowly forgetting about me?
