Hey everyone! I'm currently working on a big story so here's a short one while you wait!! Also again thank you all so much for 8k READS!! it's unbelievable how far I've gotten and I want to give everyone a big fat sloppy wet THANK YOU! Anyway on with the short story!

Red son was nervous, real nervous. He's had a crush on Mk for the longest time. He's been planning his confession since the last time they fought, but he didn't know if Mk felt the same way.
He went to Mk's friends for advice on how to, they weren't surprised. Everyone knew red sons feelings for Mk, but the monkie kid was just too dumb to realize.
"So you wanna confess to Mk?" Tang questioned. Red gave a nervous nod, "well ya gotta do it with some style! Really charm him!" Mei butted in.
"B-but how do I do that?" Red said looking down at his hands. "Hey red son. Don't doubt yourself too much, but so help me if you hurt Mk." Pigsy balled his fist. "ANYWAY!" tang said interrupting, putting a hand on pigsys shoulder. "I'm sure red son is very passionate about our Mk! We just gotta help him."
Mei pulled everyone into a group huddle discussing the plan
Alright the plan was: red son would ask to meet up with him in a beautiful Sakura tree forest and confess to him there. It was perfect! Red felt a little more confident about the whole thing.

Today was the day. Everyone on Mk's side secretly gave red words of reassurance and thumbs up. He decided to put his plan into action.
Mk was strolling along the park enjoying the cool breeze and satisfying sounds of grass and tree leaves bristling against each other. It was calm and relaxing.

Then a blaze formed in front of Mk along his stroll. Then appeared a shy looking and red faced fire demon. Mk gasped "red son?" Mk took a small step back.
"Wait! Please. Uh- here just- take this." Red son shoved the note into Mk's chest and disappeared. Mk caught the note and stared at it in admiration, his eyes glistening with his hair slowly flowing to the rhythm of the wind.
"a note..?" Mk slowly opened it.
"Hello noodle boy, meet me at the Sakura forest today at 3 pm, I must confess something to you."
Mk blushed, could this be the day? Mk jumped up in the air, he sure hoped so!

3 pm came around and Mk knew that he had to be there. He staffed his way over to the forest, his heart feeling like it was about to jump out of his throat.
When he got there, he saw a fidgety red son, playing with his clips on his cloak and picking at the loose threads on his turtle neck. Mk could tell he was about to shit his pants. He took a breath a slowly walked over to red son, also about to shit his own pants.
"Hey red! You.. wanted to talk to me?" Mk questioned. He was also getting nervous fidgeting with his jacket zipper and fiddling with his hands.
"Ah.. Yes um...this is very hard to say but I just- I- ugh! " red finally screamed. He did it. He really did it!
He shut his eyes closed, a blushing mess. He couldn't face Mk, he didn't want to. All red son could hear was the sound of Sakura blossoms blowing past them and the petals on the trees dancing in sync with the wind.

"I'm sorry for screaming- i-i understand if you don't really like me b-" red gave a small yelp as he felt Mk grab his wrists and held them in place, kissing him deeply. Red son was taken aback by the sudden action but soon leaned into the warm kiss. The breeze blowing harder the pairs hair flew and along with some of their lose clothing. Blossoms danced around the two, it was the most perfect moment ever.
Mk cupped red sons face as he pulled away from the kiss, red son was baffled and his hair flared, face flushed.
"You.. Oh my god you like me back! Oh thank the gods you like me back!!" Red son caved Mk into a warm embrace. Mk picked him up and spun him around, "yes of course I like you back!! I always have!" They both gave releived laughs. Kissing each other, they couldn't stop peppering kisses all over each other's faces.
This was the best day of both of their lives.
