《Book boy [DNF]》[6] "Apollo's strings"
"Welcome back, boys!" Tommy screamed into his microphone, grinning at his screen as he watched his chat move at a somewhat slow, somewhat fast pace. George sat behind, laid out in his friend's bed, a book in his grip.
He flipped the page as Tommy started up his stream, talking to his 9,000 and some viewers that George for the life of him would never know how he had mustered.
Tommy was making his way through streaming with a wide, toothy grin and with no trouble, he remembered how just a year ago, he kept telling them about his grand idea to become famous.
He had reached 1000 viewers not long ago and ever since then he's been growing pace. Not as much as George had expected, but enough to make him tell George every single detail of delight he'd experienced when he streamed.
Tommy began to play minecraft while talking to his chat, and George began to lose concentration on his book, as his eyes moved to the back of Tommy's head, and then to his screen.
Tommy screamed as he died to a skeleton and George let out a cry of laughter as he hid his face and tried to keep it all in. Tommy turned dramatically to where he sat, and George removed his hands, "You died to a skeleton? I thought you were better then that, big man."
"Shut up."
And then he proceeded to die again, to the same skeleton. Chat spammed L and George couldn't stop laughing.
"Well, if your so good at the game, maybe you can play in-front of 5000 people." Tommy sneered at him, and George didn't understand his pettiness at first, until he realised that there was a camera, pointing down at him, and extending to where he sat.
Got it. Personas.
He bit his tongue as he stared into Tommy's eyes, watching as he gazed at him with a mix of determination and hope gleaming in the bits of sapphire within his eyes, glaring at him. He didn't play Minecraft much. "Alright then."
He shut his book and left it on his bed, getting up, and coming to sit beside Tommy. He pushed his glasses up, as Tommy got up from his chair and stood beside him, watching as George took a hold of his set up and getting comfortable in it.
"His names George, chat, calm down." Tommy spoke and George looked up at him with a raised brow and a forming grin.
"They keep saying your hot. Excuse me, what? Gogy?! I would never think this troll would be called pretty." George gasped at the words but turned back to minecraft.
"Prick."
"Wanker."
"I'll get Will." George declared, looking back at Tommy, who grinned, and bent down so chat could see him.
"Do it, I dare you."
"WILL," He yelled and Tommy immediately shushed him, taking control of the stream while awaiting the door to burst in two. "You fucker! 'Didn't think you'd actually do that." George laughed as Tommy shut his door, locking it, and getting back to the stream.
George got into Tommy's world and looked around, gazing at his surroundings. At once, he began to run, "Alright, where'd you lose your things?"

"Down there, in that hole." George hummed in response as Tommy pointed. George dropped down, going through a small waterfall. He picked up Tommy's stuff without much trouble, and the skeleton started stirring up trouble again.
It shot once, and George wordlessly went back up the ravine and turned to Tommy with a toothy grin once he was done. "That was easy."
Tommy gaped at the screen and picked his jaw up, not saying a single word of response. George jumped about hitting at the sky and doing absolutely nothing.
"Alright alright, get up now, it's my stream." Tommy mumbled, voice rising as he spoke, and George shrugged, getting up and out of his seat. Tommy's door was met with a terrible knock, one that shook the two and made them look at it with widened expressions.
"I'm live!" Tommy called and George snickered, making the two of them fall into a silly fit of laughter. "Oi, stop laughing!" Tommy called but George couldn't stop and therefore he couldn't stop.
"Let us in!" Wilbur's voice boomed in, startling Tommy just a teeny bit, but he would never admit it, he knew. He walked to his door, unlocked it and Wilbur walked in, crashing on his bed without much thought. He was followed closely by Tubbo and Niki.
Tubbo and Tommy ran to his setup, waving at chat like maniacs. "Hey guys!" Tubbo grinned, and Wilbur raised his head. "Oh, your live? What's up?"
A donation silenced the lot of them, "Tommy, who are all these people? the guy with glasses looks really cute bsdahdjsdhdhhduehd okay thanks." It's robotic voice demanded and they all turned to George, who bore a flushed face.
"Ooh, George-" Niki cooed quietly followed by Will, who said; "Gogy? Cute? There's no chance."
"Gogy when have you started getting bitches?" Tubbo asked innocently, causing the rest of them to burst out laughing, cackling as they stood, even George.
"I haven't- I promise, you'd be the first to know if I had." George put his arms up defensively, while Wilbur clicked his tongue. "Well, that's not entirely true, now is it?"
George flushed and turned to Wilbur, only for him to laugh harder. They all knew who when it was said, except Tommy, who had to get Tubbo to whisper it to him. "Oh, is it that guy-"
"Shut up!" George threw himself at Tommy, aswell as Tubbo, and the two boy scattered, moving their chair slightly before George gave them his famous death glare that knocked sense into them. This time, it didn't.
"Toms's been trying to get his attention on Twitter lately." Niki explained quietly and Tommy smiled proudly. "I think he's seen one of my hundreds of comments by now."
Chat started demanding who, and Tubbo was the one who told them. "Oh, it's that guy from the Diamonds. I forgot his name- The blond one, who's taller then Will."
"For your information, chat, I'm 6'5. He is infact not taller then me and Tubbo over there is an idiot."
"Hey!"
"Yeah, don't call him an idiot! Get him!" Tommy pointed at Wilbur and ran up to strangle him but with no trouble at all he fell to the ground, and Wilbur hadn't even lifted a finger. They were all laughing though, even Tubbo, who tried to get him up.

The chat exploded at that, replying with his name as-well as wondering how tall wilbur actually was, wether he was lying or not. "Yeah, Dream."
The name sent shivers down George's spine, and he didn't even notice himself blushing until Niki pointed it out, "Getting a little hot in here, eh, Gogs?"
"Niki, not you too!" He bellowed, hiding his face in his hands at the words, causing another stew of laughter to be brewed.
After that it was rather chill, they just talked, forgot about chat, remembered chat, and remembered that they had thousands of people to entertain, and then forgot again when Wilbur mentioned something about his new song. "Well go on, play it, will you?" Tommy turned towards him, and they all looked at him expectingly.
Wilbur glanced at each and everyone of them before he got up, and walked out of Tommy's room to fetch his guitar, earning a wild cheer from the rest. Wilbur came back not a moment later, and sat down on Tommy's bed, beginning to strum his guitar.
"I'm not gonna lie to you guys, I actually think I should keep this one under raps. This is the one and only time for another thing however, song recs-" And before he could finish his sentence, both Tommy and Tubbo yelled "Internet ruined me!"
Wilbur shrugged, and began to strum the familiar chords to the song, before it started to get more intense, and then they began; "My keyboard's like my heart, It shines in RGB and it's full of blood-"
But he couldn't go two lines in without Tommy and Tubbo butting in, "I don't know what is wrong with me, But I'm scared, pissed off and lonely. I have trouble speaking to women, Unless they're 2D or high definition. Spend all my time on social media, This is the state that I'm in-"
And on they sang, to the very last note of the song, dancing about in Tommy's tiny room, with Niki joining in for backing vocals as the song progressed. George might have smacked Tommy in the face with a pillow once or twice.
When the song ended, Wilbur strummed the last chord and asked, "Any more?"
Tommy, being his loud and usual self, forgetting about the dumb persona entirely, begged Wilbur to the ends of the earth to play 'Your new boyfriend', and Wilbur, being the caring and loving brother that he was, decided to ignore him.
"Your go, Gogy! We'll go around the room." He grinned, closing his eyes, ignoring Tommy's rude spluttering and Tubbo's stares. Gogy thought to himself for a minute before giving it to Tubbo who at once demanded to listen to Everybody talks, by neon trees, to which both Tubbo, Tommy (and surprisingly George) shouted out the lyrics to.
It was a fun night, starting off with Neon Trees, and slowly gravitating towards 'Abba', to which Tommy and Wilbur aswell as Niki busted out, after Tubbo and George were passed out on his bed. "DANCING QUEEN," They hollered all around the house.
'Classic' by MKTO made their way to their ears, sang by George and Wilbur respectfully. Wilbur let George go for the chorus, who took it to a whole other level. "You're over my head, I'm out of my mind. Thinkin' I was born in the wrong time, One of a kind, livin' in a world gone plastic. Baby, you're so classic!"
And somehow they made it to the offspring, death cab by cutie, and then to Taylor Swift. George still wasn't sure how it happened.
In the middle of You belong with me, requested by Niki, (though it was Tommy and Tubbo who had regained their strength and sang out the lyrics) a robotic voice called out to them, "Sing 'House of gold' by the diamonds :]'"
"Oh I think I know that one, no thanks to you." Wilbur said, punching George's shoulder, and he began to strum his guitar. "Ready lads?"
He started strumming the Intro, and they all turned to George. "Take it away, Gogy!" Wilbur yelled and George rolled his eyes, "She asked me, Son, when I grow old. Will you buy me a house of gold? And when your father turns to stone, Will you take care of me?"
He grinned as Niki beamed at him and was thankful when Tommy, Tubbo, and Niki began to sing to; "She asked me, Son, when I grow old
Will you buy me a house of gold? And when your father turns to stone- Will you take care of me? I will make you, Queen of everything you see. I'll put you on the map. I'll cure you of disease."
"Let's say we up and left this town
And turned our future upside-down
We'll make pretend that you and me
Lived ever after, happily. She asked me, Son, when I grow old. Will you buy me a house of gold? And when your father turns to stone
Will you take care of me? I will make you. Queen of everything you see, I'll put you on the map, I'll cure you of disease (Ooh)."
This was Tommy's favourite bit, George remembered well (even Will had joined in); "And since we know that dreams are dead. And life turns plans up on their head, I will plan to be a bum- So I just might become someone."
Chat was running fast, and little did Tommy know, the stream had reached 50,000 people, just because of the friends who yelled their hearts out in a small, tiny, room.
And yet, people stayed and watched, grinning. One of those people, were Dream, who was hiding in a small room within the studio, a secret room- away from everything, away from the nagging of their managers so he could just exist, with a smile on his face.
Embarrassing as it was to admit it, his eyes were on George the entire time.

Restaurant Core
A dungeon core that wants to feed others instead of itself. Can this dungeon overcome its challenging start in a goblin cave? Will it achieve its dream of being the ultimate restaurant or will it be forced to concede to its own nature as a dungeon core? Follow Regis the dungeon and his loyal hobgoblin servant Strum in this dungeon's quest to become the one and only Restaurant Core. I started this to give me a more humorous character-centric narrative to explore. I also wanted to poke fun at the typical dungeon core story by turning it on its head. Who knows, maybe you'll learn a recipe or two from it. Hope you enjoy!Updates at least once a week. Special thanks to Asviloka for so much help in the art direction of the cover. Much love to her. Blood & Noodles
[participant in the Royal Road Writathon challenge] As they always have, humanity hunts the gods roaming the world, craving the supernatural power that flows within their veins. Even a drop is zealously guarded, passed from master to student through the ages. It is with this stolen power that the Blooded - those with divine blood coursing through them - grasp beyond mortality and achieve prestige, power, and greatness. Yet, for every fraction of power gained, thousands perish, slain by the gods' supernatural prowess. But everything is beginning to change. Eight years ago, for the first time in human memory, a god was felled. Part-time chef and full-time nuisance Orvi wants nothing to do with gods. Living in a derelict city, his only concerns are ensuring his adopted family's restaurant is prosperous and how to best beat the neighbourhood boys in a fight. If he's lucky, he might even snag a date with the farmer's daughter at the market. But even though he cares nothing for the gods or their blood, the world won't leave him alone forever. Because to reach godhood, one must first leave their humanity behind. *** The first arc of Blood & Noodles follows the adolescent Orvi as he attempts to navigate his rapidly changing home and - by his own definition - protect his family. The story is told almost entirely in the first-person, from the perspective of a teenager who isn't always the sharpest tool in the shed. There are tragic elements, especially in the current arc. It's character-focused and driven, though the protagonist's shenanigans are backdropped by a world operating independently from him. Orvi's a generally light-hearted character, and though the story veers into darker territory, I also want it to be able to make readers smile. Action sequences, despite the fantastical elements, are meant to be grounded and clearly-conveyed; Orvi is a brawler, not a warrior. I'm trying to write a story that's enjoyable to read and flows nicely, mainly because it's more fun to write. I'm also trying to improve my writing, so any feedback, whether positive or negative, is welcome!
