《Text Me, Bitch | VKOOK ✓》56

Two weeks went by since he stopped talking to Taehyung and broke up with Eunmi. Jungkook had been feeing less of himself as each day went by. He would try to avoid speaking to any one he could just because he couldn't find the motivation to do so.
Working at the cafe and going to class was unusually stressful for him.
He never undergone any of this stress that he has been going through. Essay's became sloppier, work became strangely harder, and time has just been killing him softly.
Seeing him hold hands with Hoseok down the halls also even made him feel a whole lot worse. It would make his moods go down quicker and quicker every time.
He missed Taehyung.
He missed everything about him. He would re read the messages between them both. It would be the only thing that made him laugh seeing how crazy and carefree Taehyung was. If only he could just see that crazy side of him at least one more time.
"Can I get an medium iced americano." A woman said as he pulled out the money in her wallet.
Jungkook wasn't paying intention. Instead he was lost in his own world as he stared into space.
"Sir." The woman spoke again as she snapped her fingers in his face. Jungkook shook his head as he slowly came back from the small word he was in.
He then cleared his throat before speaking. "I'm sorry. What would you like?"
She repeated her order this time with more of an attitude towards the boy. Jungkook took the money from her being sure to give her the correct amount of change back.
He then went to the back to make the drink for the woman, and once he finished he handed it over to her.

She took the drink with a scoff as she pulled her glasses out of her purse to put them on. "Some people don't have all day to be waiting for idiots." With that she left.
If he had to be honest he was a little bit embarrassed especially since it was the third time that has happened to him the whole week. Thankfully his boss didn't catch on to his slacking actions.
The door to the cafe opened again. Jungkook was busy cleaning up the small mess.
"One moment please." Jungkook said as he quickly finished up wiping the counter down. He then turned around to take the person's order.
As he turned around his eyes widened at the views of the person standing right in front of him.
"Tae..." He said. A smile couldn't help but form on his face. Seeing the boy in front of him made him happier than anything else in the world at that very moment.
Taehyung sighed and rolled his eyes before speaking. "I was expecting a different person to take my order, but I guess I'm stuck with you hmm."
Taehyung reached in his small bag to take out his card.
"Small Green Tea Frappuccino. Easy on the whip cream." Taehyung said as he held his card in front of Jungkook to grab.
Jungkook was more than disappointed that Taehyung didn't want to talk to him because if there was one thing he wanted more in the world it would be to talk to the person he is so in love with.
"I'll pay for you Taehyung." Jungkook said. He made a gesture that Taehyung could put his card away, but instead of doing that Taehyung just scoffed.
"I think I could pay for myself, Jeon."
Jungkook refused to take the card. He pulled out his wallet taking out a few dollars and slipping it in the cash register to pay for his drink.

Taehyung watched him leave to the back and make his drink. Jungkook made sure to try and make it as perfect as the picture picture. Possibly even better.
Once he had finished he came back to the boy and handed him over his drink. Taehyung took the drink from the boy's hands, shrugging at the fact that it was free.
He then turned around and made his way for the exit. Jungkook paused for a second, thinking of what to do or say so he can make conversation with the boy.
Jungkook then quickly ran over to the boy stopping just in front of the exit so he doesn't leave.
"Hey. Where you going?" Jungkook questioned with a small grin on his face.
"Out of here." Taehyung exhaled as he tried to walk past the other, but Jungkook kept blocking whatever way he tried going.
"Where?"
"Far from you."
Taehyung was getting slightly annoyed by Jungkook's actions.
"Can you move?" He asked in irritation as he looked at Jungkook with pure disgust in his eyes.
"Can we talk for a bit?" Jungkook asked. It was obvious to Taehyung that Jungkook really wanted to talk to him, but he just didn't feel the same.
"Don't you have a job to be doing?"
"I'll have someone cover for me right now. Please just talk to me...I missed you." He admitted.
Sighing lightly, Taehyung looked up at the ceiling. He then looked back at the other with a slight roll to his brown eyes.
"Fine."

How to Save a Star [BxB]
“Do you know that stars die?” I asked, breaking the silence. I didn't know where the question came from, but that's the only thing that came to mind. “Yeah,” he answered. “And some stars we see in the sky may be already dead. But they're so far away that their afterglow can still be seen above. Some of them may seem glowing but they’re truly dead.” We all have a little gallery of photographic memories inside our hearts. An exhibit of things we could never forget through our short moments in time. Some were so good, we held it like they were the best part of our lives while some were things we desperately ran away from - they hunted us, and killed our hopes. The beginning of my life ended on my tenth birthday, the day when my childhood was stolen away from me. I longed to run away from that nightmare that held me tightly in my neck and made me helpless under its grasp. Going to college had become my final chance to run away. On my seventeenth birthday, after enrolling at a university, my life took another shift. I met a man who showed me the glimmer of hope I always wanted to see. And this was our story. A narration of first love, bittersweet and worthwhile. DISCLAIMER: This novella primarily contains gay romance. Read at your own risk.

Until You Do It Right
The world ended on December thirty-first of the year two thousand and twenty, precisely at the stroke of midnight. The human race began to be systematically exterminated by the spawn of the System. We were given a chance to defeat them, to take back our place at the top of the food chain. We failed. The first to perish were those who bravely rebelled. The soldiers. The defenders. One by one, they fell. In their final moments, they begged for aid. Nobody replied. The next to succumb were those who feebly cowered. The deniers. The leeches. Together, they fell. In their final moments, they cried out into the darkness. Countless voices replied in kind. The last to decline were those who shamelessly ran. The deserters. The cowardly. Alone, they fell. In their final moments, they whimpered quietly. There was nobody left to answer. The final human to die was a survivor. A runner. As he died, he begged for salvation. His prayers were answered. He was offered a chance to save himself, along with all of humanity, and he took it. This is his story. “I sat in the dark and thought: There’s no big apocalypse. Just an endless procession of little ones.”― Neil Gaiman, Signal to Noise. I am absolutely new to writing and will take any and all constructive criticism. Please give feedback, it is greatly appreciated. I will update the tags as they change, and I hope that you enjoy this little story I'm writing! Quick warning: Seamus is intentionally a flawed character, and this story is going to explore those flaws and perhaps even change a few of them. I do not agree with all of his actions, but it is what it is.

While traveling on the colony ship Pioneer Michael Wolfe and many others are logged into Project Looking Glass, a fully immersive Virtual Reality MMORPG set on the world they are traveling to. Michael Wolfe must put away the books of myth and folklore and push himself to his limit to achieve the start to his new life. Updates will come by chapter as I write them, so don't count on a solid release schedule (though I will try for a few chapters each week). Edit advice is always welcome, but please keep it polite. ((Cover is just a working cover until I can get some decent artwork)) Be advised that I am currently focusing on Hero's Call. Project Freelancer will continue/be rewritten in parts when I have finished the story arc I intend for Hero's Call.
