so what did yall think??? i really needed this bonus because i felt like carla and jordans story needed closure. especially since we see a certain character in the count up, i wanted a lil bit of jordan/carla interaction. i know i talked a lot about rewriting, but as cringey half the chapters are, i think i wont change them. once you get over some of the cringiest chapters in the beginning, it pretty ok. i know i the epilogues made it seem like they were getting back together, but i couldnt see carla or jordan doing a long distance relationship. the thing is, both jordan and carla hadnt talked in about SEVEN years. theyve both changed, so it would have been really hard for them to have a relationship with good chemistry. now that carla moved to toronto, they can have a relationship!...thirteen years later lol. i just wanted to clear that up. i love them with my heart, so its sad to say goodbye to these guys. i do have a spinoff based on this story,,, and its about a character yall have already met!! anyway i had thoughts about writing a sequel to this, but writing the bonus chapter just solidified my thoughts about NOT doing a sequel. as much as i love them, and would want to explore what a relationship would mean for mature adults like carla and jordan, i dont think i could do it. it would be interesting to see how theyve changed but it just wouldnt work. so ive settled for this bonus chapter...which i love. as you can see, jordan is more confident (an assholey—im pretty sure he joined a frat in college)! and carla has scaled back on her temper! growth😻✨🧚
