《Gun To My Head, Stake To My Heart》1

"Ya and I was able to acquire the company and make it the profitable organization that it is now known to be." He paused to sip his whiskey. "Impressive isn't it?" He chuckled at his joke. "Not many are able to do what I do because they aren't as exceptional." I nodded my head as I faked a charming smile at him.
My target was too egotistical to see through the game. For the past couple of months, I've been undercover as his assistant. My assignment? To catch his illegal affairs and report it to HQ. According to my files, this man has been involved in several embezzlement cases, tax evasion and fraud, and has a kink for underage girls.
I had to internally gag as his alcoholic breath fanned into my face. I just needed him to reveal who he was corroborating with. Then, I could end this annoyance of a mission. I counted my lucky stars when I felt his hand on my thigh. I flirtatiously looked at him as I ate the olive from my martini. I sucked on it for a little before wrapping my lips around it, painfully slow.
I internally rolled my eyes as I saw the tent forming in his pants. Why must old geezers desire young women, especially when they have a wife and family?! His crooked teeth were on display as he greasily smiled at me.
"What do you say we head upstairs?" His hand slipped farther up my thigh as he leaned in to whisper.
"Hmm... to do what?" I mused.
"We've been working together for a few months, but there's still so much that I don't know about you." His hand traveled farther up.
"Then let's become well acquainted." I halted his hand. "What do you say?" I grabbed him by the tie and brought our faces closer.
"Hell ya!" He breathed.
He took my hand and escorted me towards the elevators. His bodyguards followed close behind. I'm hoping his kink isn't allowing spectators when he's intimate. I really need him alone, in order to finish this mission. The elevator dinged once we reached the floor.
His bodyguard advanced ahead of us to open the door. We all walked in. I sensually allowed my coat to slide down my arms. My target was practically drooling at the action. He swiftly took my hand and led me to the bedroom. He pinned me to the wall and attempted to kiss me, but I held up a finger, blocking his lips.

"Not so fast." I purred. "You forgot the foreplay." I shoved him onto the bed.
He grinned wildly as I removed my top and crawled over him. I swear this man was about to cum at the sight of me over him. I took advantage of his delirious state and handcuffed his hands to the bed. I then unbuttoned his shirt as I straddled his lap. I rolled my hips, eliciting moans from him.
"Please." He breathlessly begged.
"Please, what?" I whispered into his ear.
"I need you to be inside you."
"Mmm..." I rolled my hips even harder.
"I'll do anything! Anything!"
"Anything?" I wondered allowed. He rapidly nodded. "I always wondered where the missing expenses were going, but you always told me it wasn't that important. Will you please tell me?" I cocked my head to the side and gave him the most innocent look. "Please?" I purred once I noticed his hesitation.
"Arjen Waltz. We do business together and I help fund his child sex ring in exchange for a higher percentage in our partnership. Now, can we continue, please?" He tried to get up, but I pushed him down.
"I don't think so, pedo." I waved my finger back and forth. "There's a special place in hell for people like you."
Before he could scream, I placed a pillow over his head. He began thrashing around, but I kept my position. It was hard for him to fight since he was restricted by the chains. I was surprised this fatass was lasting long in his futile struggles. Soon, his thrashing began to reduce until he lay motionless.
I climbed off him and absentmindedly threw the pillow somewhere. I dressed myself properly before starting phase 2 of the plan. I now had to kill the bodyguards since I could leave no witnesses.
"Sir, is everything okay in there?" One of them knocked on the door. I guess they heard the pounding of the bed against the wall when he was struggling. "Sir?" The man knocked again. I glanced around the room to find something I could use. "Sir?" He tried turning the knob, but I had locked the door. "Sir? We're coming in."
I moved out of frame right as they kicked down the door. The three bodyguards all had their guns drawn. Their eyes widened when they surveyed the scene.

"Find the girl." One of them commanded.
They didn't have to search since I popped out behind one of them and snapped his neck. The other two turned, but I kicked their guns from their hands. I jumped on the closest one and dragged him onto the ground. I swiftly rolled out the way before his partner could hit me.
I was then entered into a fist fight with the burly one. I ducked under his swing and kicked him into the wall. I then picked up one of the marble statues and bashed it into his head. He collapsed from the depression in his head.
The other one tackled me and began punching me. I brought my arms up to block my face. He then proceeded to my stomach. I reached for a glass bottle and connected it with his head. He winced and held his head in pain. Because I had smashed the bottle, there were jagged pieces of glass. I gripped one and sliced it across his neck.
The guy began wheezing and gurgling as he coughed up blood. I pushed him off me and reached for his gun. I made sure to place the silencer on it before firing a shot into everyone's head.
I took a moment to run my eyes over the scene. Damn, maintenance is gonna have a great time with this one. I grabbed my stuff and left after texting maintenance to cleanup on aisle pedophilia.
I used the train to get back to my hideout. I grabbed my computer and called my boss.
"I'm assuming everything went according to plan." The image of my attractive boss appeared. He had short, curly brown hair. The screen didn't do justice to his muscular frame. I felt like his muscles had muscles.
"Of course, sir. Target is eliminated. Arjen Waltz was his partner in crime. The discrepancies in the financial reports was due to the money laundering into child exploitation."
"Nice work. Come back to HQ immediately." I nodded before signing off.
I took a shower and burned my clothes. Nothing would be used to trace that man's murder back to me or the organization. Maintenance should've arrived and cleaned up the scene I caused. By tomorrow, it should be reported that the man had a heart attack or stroke. I mean, he was old enough to be my grandfather, so a stroke wasn't that far off.
I swiftly left the empty apartment and flagged down a cab to take me to the airport. The flight back to Virginia seemed long. Well, I guess it was long if you counted in the time to fly from Russia to New York and then New York to Virginia. I didn't take time to freshen up since I headed straight to the CIA building once I landed.
I flashed my badge to the security, who let me in after doing several more screenings. Can never be too cautious. I walked down the halls and kept a stoic expression the entire journey. My stoic express faltered when I felt an arm around my shoulders. I rolled my eyes with a smile.
"Zayn."
"You know it!" He laughed. "How was everything? You've been gone for soooooo long? What was it ? Two months?"
"Four months, but who's counting." I laughed.
"Jade and I missed you. We should hang out." He suggested.
"Hold onto that question after I speak with Matt." Zayn gulped at the name of my boss. Matt was thoroughly intimidating with his big muscles and cold eyes, but he had a soft spot for me. "Yeah, I need to report to him." I laughed as I pushed Zayn's arm off. "See you later." I waved goodbye.
I walked through several hallways before stopping at the big man's office. I knocked and heard a come in. I opened the door to find Matt lounging in his chair while reading some files. He immediately placed them down once I closed the door. He smiled at me.
"Well, you look like you had a fun time." I rolled my eyes as his eyes ran over every new bruise on my body.
"Can't say the same for the other men." Matt chuckled at my dark joke. "Good job. We passed the information along to a different unit who will be investigating Mr. Waltz. Take some time off." I smiled and left.
Some much needed time is definitely what I need.

Harmless Sweetie (Rewritten)
*UPDATES EVERY MONDAY AND FRIDAY, SOMETIMES MORE IF I DON'T HAVE SCHOOLWORK. **This is tagged as comedy but I have a really stupid and peculiar sense of humor so yeah. "That's an eldritch horror." "No it's not, it's a frog." "Why does it have ten eyes and eight rows of teeth, not just that but why does it just perpetually scream with the voices of the ones whose mind it has eaten." "I'm just not that good at anatomy." *** Clailip Diancia, the tiny boy who dances along the threads of fate woven by a wicked witch. Not knowing of the plans of the witch that once scorched the lands, and unknowing of the abyss that beckons him forth. This harmless sweetie watches the stories of those around him. Ever unconscious of the turning loom of fate, always oblivious of the stories, legends, and tapestries of heroes that revolve around him as he goes, as he dances, and as he prances, leaving myths and rumours wherever he might set foot in. But as he is unaware of those whose fates have intertwined with his, he is also blind to the soul-piercing stares of the Abyss, ever calling to him.

Luck And Chronomancy
Time Magic is the best magic as everyone knows, although there are lots of unique Talents in the world. Most people only remember Haste because it is hard to get to higher Phases of Chronomancy. That is still enough to make the Talent iconic. A lucky enough Aleatory Talent can position you for greatness or leave you languishing in obscurity. The only true equality in the world is when that glowing message pops up at 8 years old. Even if it doesn't activate until you are an adult at 16 you still know. Sure you can find a new dungeon spawn and get another chance at a rare Talent, even this one, but you have to already be ready to delve into the *Far Wilds*, which is far easier with wealth or family power. This is the story of where my good fortune took me and the difference it made, even among a party of 7 others including an Arcanist. It is a journey of magic and monsters but also math, which some think is actually worse. Luckily I was born with Intelligence and Focus as my personal traits, and my parents were scholars. Of course Chronomancy can also be a frontline combat talent. Versitility well beyond other Elder Talents like Gravity, Abstraction, or Arcana. Might could have worked for me, too. I also met a runaway princess. All the best adventures have a princess. She hated being a noble and we didn't get married but it still counts. Besides she really filled out our front line. All that Leadership training came in handy. I still don't know where she's from. Who cares? How well Haste goes with giant hammers is what's important. I never learned much about anyone in the party, except the one I grew up with. I'm not a people person. I just wanted to optimize dungeon clearing time. *******Story Details******* No romance, politics, or traumatizing content, slice of life, or even dialogue. 1st person narration, like a guide/adventure log. 2000-7000 words a day, maybe 40-60% rpgish combat log with some reasoning on combat decisions, with the rest character Talent discussion and progression stuff. 8 person party with a decent variety in roles. Party members usually have 2 primary functions. Told from the support/control Chronomancer's perspective. Each party member will have 6 Basic/Background Traits, then 3 actual Talents with abilities. Capstone from their Educational Institution, Arbritrary as a gift from the temples, and Aleatory which is decided at birth, revealed at 8, and activated after adulthood at 16. Aleatory Traits ignore requirements and are random why is why they are so important. They'll gain new Talents from finding Dungeons to consume in the *Wilds*. Mature dungeons in cities can provide *Challenges* to raise the Phase of a Talent, up to 3 times from 1 to 4. Each character will get to roughly 8 non-Trait Talents. Attributes come exclusive from Talents, are required by Talents, and provide various effects as well. I designed about 220 Talents with abilities, 4 in each of 4 phases. "Traits" are just Attribute stuff. I'm not sure how many will be detailed in the story, more than 100 for sure. I used Talents because I want to be free of the legacy of tabletop. Half those rules are just because of the limitations inherent in a pre-computer ttrpg. This story mostly uses combat Talents, although like 1/3 of the 220 are for crafting and other society and economy stuff. If you really wanted to be a Thief you might take Intuition, Awarness, and Might for Basic Traits and Deftness, Manipulation, and Trickery for Family/Education. Then you'd pick Acrobatics, and Climbing for Educational Capstone and Arbitrary traits. You Aleatory Trait might be Shadow(Light/Dark) Magic, Umbramancy. A Bard might swap Dexterity for Charisma, Music for Acrobatics, and have gotten Illusion(Shadow/Sound(Air/Force)) for their Aleatory Trait.
