"Ma.....I am scared."I mumbled and laid my head on my mother's lap.
"Siya,don't be like this,we already talked about this."Ma murmured while caressing my long black hair,her tone kind and warm.
I got up and looked at my mother with a pout on my face,"Ma I am only 20....I don't want to get married."I whined like a child and threw my arms around my mum.
Ma sighed and hugged me back tightly,"Me and your papa are not forcing you,baby.They are just coming to see you tomorrow and you are not that young."she whispered amusedly and pulled my cheek.
I bit my lower lip nervously,I know after tomorrow,my life will not be same.I overheard my parents talking,Papa said that he has already finalised everything with my would be husband's family even he has agreed.I just don't know if I am ready for such a big responsibility,my would be husband is the chief minister of Rajasthan and is a very cruel man according to rumours.
"Ma....I don't think I am ready for such a big responsibility.I can't even take care of myself properly.......how will I take care of another family?"I mumbled with tears in my eyes,my voice heavy with tears.
"Siya,you need to trust us.We know what we are doing and Rana ji is a very good man,he will take care of you and will keep you happy."Ma tried to sooth me but hearing my would be husband's name from her mouth made me more shaky.
I clung on to my mum and buried my face in her lap,"Ma,I don't want to talk."I mumbled and pressed myself closer to her.I closed my eyes pretending to forget everything and only inhaling my mum's Rosy smell.

"Siya."I heard my father enter the room and I immediately sat up with my head bowed,"Yes papa."I whispered,keeping my eyes fixed on the bed.
"Leave us please."Papa stated and ma left us alone but not before caressing my cheeks and tucking my long black hair behind my ears.
"Siya,do you trust me?"papa stated with his arms behind his back and standing strong and straight in front of me.I looked up at him and immediately my lower lip wobbled,everyone might see my papa as a strong strict brigadier of the army but for me papa is my teddy bear,showering me with his love and affection.
"Siya?"he asked again this time his voice cracked a little and I jumped from the bed only to run into his arm,my safe domain,"Papa,I trust you more than myself."I sobbed against his chest and roughly wiped the tears from my cheeks,making them all red and pink.
"He is a good man."Papa said while stroking my hair,trying to sooth me and this time his words did sooth me,I smiled and hugged him more tightly,"I trust you papa."I whispered more to myself and closed my eyes,I was not sure of my future or how my would be husband will treat me but one thing I was sure no matter what I will have these two amazingly beautiful people to rely on whenever I stumble.
