Rihanna's POV

I layed in bed, having no intention of going work today . Brandon was expecting a baby with Greta, the words seemed unrealistic and I kept telling myself it was a lie to prevent another mental breakdown.

" Rihanna are you feeling well?" My mother came in with a tray of breakfast but I was in no mood to eat or speak.

" No" my voice was hoarsed , so she sat by my side.

" What's the problem" I shook my head in denial.

" I'll ask Brandon " she said slyly.

" I don't care" she gasped at my tone and flicked my forehead.

" You better remember who you're talking to" I sighed.

" Greta is having a baby for Brandon" my mom bursted out in laughter until she was gasping for air,I stared at her astonishment.

" Who....t..ol..d yo..u tha...t ?" She breathed out.

"His mom and he didn't say anything about it" she sighed and finally calmed down.

" This is between us , one day I was cleaning his office and I saw some doctor reports Brandon is infertile" I gasped in shock.

" What" if he was he would've told me, right?

" Sweetheart he has a surgery next month , so for now there's no way Brandon was able to get Greta pregnant " I blinked back the tears, I felt sorry for Brandon but he always used a condom.

Was he embarrassed by it?

" I need to go" she nodded, and got back to whatever she was doing.

I didn't sleep a wink last night , my parents were overjoyed about the news and I didn't want to let them down.

I got out of bed and went to work before anyone woke , the security guards who were changing shifts was surprised to see me this early.

I sat in my office and finished my work until I heard a knock on the door.

" Come in" It was Rihanna dressed in a black business suit with a tired look on her face.

" Good morning " her voice seemed to be hoarsed so I offered a bottle of water which she gladly accepted.

" Good morning about last night...."

" My mother told me" I grimaced , my infertility was something no one knew about because I was embarrassed. I had a surgery next month in Germany so I planned on keeping it a secret until Tamara found out.

"Why didn't you tell me"

" I don't need your pity Rihanna, I don't need yours, my parents nor society "

" But...."

" But nothing, we speak no more of this from this day onwards" she nodded

" What about Greta's baby? Are you going to accept it?"

" Do I have a choice? That would ruin my reputation if it wasn't mine Rihanna, I would look like a fool "

" So you're going to dismiss whatever we had going on" tear drops fell down her face but I couldn't wipe them away. I had to be strong.

" Yes it was nothing" I have grown attached to this woman but I was a fool not to admit it.

" I've watched you fall in love with other girls and kept quiet, I have been by your side from day one, I love you Brandon more than a friend . And this is what I get?!!!"

" Ri...."

" Shut the fuck up, What have I done to deserve this Brandon? I have been nothing but a good woman to you..... But it seems as if I will never be good enough huh?"

" You're perfect...."

" I hate you Brandon, I fucking hate you" she threw the chair across the room in frustration.

" And I quit"
