"Draco Lucius Malfoy! Put me down this instant!" Hermione yelled at her husband Draco as he carried her bridal style into the master bedroom, now their's in Malfoy Manor.
He just laughed and continued walking towards the plush new king sized bed dropped her carefully, still bending down so that their lips were almost touching. She looked at him intently with her hands on his arms.
"You were yelling and now you are..speechless?" He said, chuckling.
"Don't flatter yourself, Malfoy. It's hardly because of you" She said, surprising herself by speaking despite knowing his sinful lips are just inches from hers.
"Then why is your voice husky?"
"No it's not. Listen. You need not exhibit false affections now. Nobody is here..and I mean..carrying me bridal style was totally inappro.." She was cut off as his lips crashed down on hers robbing her off her senses.
She tried to resist, but after a few seconds, kissed him back enthusiastically. She could hear a small whimpering sound somewhere but she didn't like to concentrate on anything else right then.
He gently pulled away and resting his forehead on hers, said "At least we found a way to shut you up". When she blushed and looked away, he smiled and walked out of the room. He returned, carrying their daughter in his arms.
"Guess our angel is hungry" he said, playing with her little fingers.
Our angel. She liked the sound of that.
"Oh come here, you princess. Mamma is sorry she forgot to feed you" She gently picked up Emma and fed her from the food placed in the nearby table.
"How come mamma forgot, Emma?" He smiled devilishly earning a smack hard across his biceps.
"Mamma got so entranced by whatever happened today". She turned to Draco. "Thank you for everything so far, Draco." She was indeed very happy. The place was fantastic even if she had some bad memories. The room was spacious with a pool view, bright beautiful windows and a large majestic bed on the centre. Draco had arranged for a cute but very safe and comfortable cradle for Emma which happened to be the one Draco himself used in his childhood.

"This is nothing Hermione. Although you can repay me later, I am sure" he winked.
"Don't get any ideas, Mister. I have a plan, why don't we play 20 questions? I am not tired, and seems neither are you. Emma is almost asleep and it will be a good time killer right. Also..I will get to know the real you..different from your Hogwarts persona. What do you say?"
"All right then, you go first."
And so it began. They had a great rapport, understanding each other, still teasing and pulling each other's legs. Both were getting to know the real personalities of the other. It was a lovely night.
"Do you miss your parents, Hermione?" He asked out of nowhere.
"Of course, although I don't show it often. I had always wanted to bring back their memories but McGonagall told me it's better if we do it step by step so they are in a treatment at St.mungos." she trailed away, looking at the Moon from her spot in the balcony.
"I am sorry. Wow, It's getting late. Go to sleep. We have a big day tomorrow. We are supposed to launch the Triwizard championship this year, remember?"
"Yes, I am sorta excited. I can just enjoy without having to worry about Harry's life" She laughed, reminiscing. "Good night, Draco"
"Uh..thank you Hermione, for deciding to keep Emma. I can't imagine my life without her now. Despite the circumstances, I kinda feel contended to have you both in my life. And yeah..good night".
"Who are you and what have you done to Draco?" She lauughed patted him affectionately.
"I am sorely tempted to kiss you senseless right now and you are not helping. Don't test my patience, woman. Go to bed!"
"Ah ha. You shouldn't have said that, buddy" She very slightly bit her bottom lip drawing his attention back to them, enjoying his reaction.
"Damn, woman, you drive me crazy!" and he showed her just hwo much

The False Paladin
Divine Paladins, a title given to those who were blessed with the Lord's Favor, are the pillars of the kingdom of Calorin. However, a kingdom cannot simply be built from ideals of honor and duty. Sir Roel, the 58th Divine Paladin, knows that he's no hero. His sword is fake, his actual powers are middling, and his thoughts grow more cynical with every passing day. Upon receiving his next task, an order to assassinate a member of royalty, he wonders if the only thing he can do is bow his head and obey. Set in a medieval-era world in which brute strength is often subordinate to the schemes and machinations of the ruling class, this is a low fantasy story about a hero who struggles not only against monsters but also the idea that he's supposed to be the one fighting them. This fiction updates once to twice a week and each chapter is a minimum of 1000 words.
