"Sultanam." The old man bowed as he entered.
"Mustafa Pasha, what's going on? How did Hünkarım's ship sinked? First of all, tell me is the news true?" I fired questions at him while he stood there uncomfortably.
"Sultanam, the news is not yet confirmed about whether it was Hünkarım's ship or not. But yes, it is true that one of the ships sinked." He explained and I let out a sigh of relief.
"Ya Allah, Thank Allah." I whispered in relief before turning towards him with a frown again. "You will look into this matter thoroughly Pasha and immediately inform me."
"Yes, Sultanam. But what about the Haseki Sultan? I hope she didn't took the news badly." He asked
I sighed. "The news hit her really badly. She is in critical condition. The doctors are not sure whether they can save both her and the baby or not."
"May Allah help her, Inshallah."
I nodded. "Inshallah. We can only pray now. Let's hope for the best."
After he went away, I walked straight towards Hünkarım's chamber where Halime wa being treated. The Hekim and the midwifes bowed as soon as I entered.
"How is she?" I asked as I walked towards the bed where Halime laid. She look very pale.
"Thankfully we managed to stop the bleeding but we are not sure about anything right now. The only thing we can do right now is pray for the best." The Doctor said and I nodded.
"We'll keep her under monitor for the next 24 hours." He explained and i nodded again before walking out of there and headed straight towards the Harem.
"ATTENTION. HER HIGHNESS HÜMAŞAH SULTAN." The door man announced as I came near the Harem. Just when I was about to enter Sadika Hatun stopped me.
"Sultanam," she called out as she ran towards me. I think she just arrived now.

"Welcome Sadika Hatun, I hope you didn't have any trouble in your journey?"
She bowed before standing straight. "No Sultanam. Thanks to Halime Sultan, I didn't had any trouble while traveling."
"Good."
"Sultanam, I heard about the news. Is it true?" She asked again and I sighed.
"No, it's not yet confirmed." I replied. The girls in the Harem were standing in a line with their heads bowed but their eyes were on us, clearly interested in our conversation to talk about it later.
"Hope so." She said. "By the way, I want to thank you for bringing me back here in the palace and re-uniting me with my daughter."
"Don't thank me Sadika Hatun. If you want to thank someone, thank Halime because she was the one who brought you here."
She stood there awkwardly like she wanted to say something but was feeling shy or guilty.
But she finally decided to speak up. "Sultanam I'm very guilty of what I said in the past and I hope you can forgive me."
I offered her a small smile. "I forgive you Sadika."
Her uneasy expression broke into a full grin before she kissed my hand. "Thank you Sultanam."
"Sultanam, I also heard about Halime Sultan's condition. If you allow, I would like to visit her."
"No." I replied immediately shocking both of us with my immediate answer but who cares? There is no way I'm letting her anywhere near Halime.
"You can visit her tomorrow. Not now." I said as we walk in together and she nodded. "I have asked Sumbul agha to prepare a chamber for you where you can stay with Ismihan. Your job is to take care of her and avoid any fight with Gülbahar. Understood?"
"Yes, Sultanam. With your permission." She bowed before walking away to see her new chamber. I couldn't sent Gülbahar away after I heard the news about Mehmed. But I'll do it at once after Mustafa Pasha confirms the news.

"Ya Allah, please save the dynasty from all the evil eyes." I chanted a prayer before walking towards my chamber to pray.
After I was done with my prayer, I went to inspect the Harem once more to see if anything was happening between the concubines but thankfully there were none. After that I met with the Pashas as Halime wasn't able to attend meetings so I had to.
I was about to have my dinner when Sumbul Agha walked in looking super scared and panicked. "The messenger of bad news." I mocked before fully turning towards him.
"Sultanam, the news about the sinking of Hünkarım's ship has leaked and now the public is crazy. They have formed a rebellion and are marching towards the palace." He said in one go breathlessly and I immediately stood up.
"What!?" I gasped in horror. "What am I going to do. Sumbul take Halime and Şehzade Osman to safer place first then take the children and their mothers out. The others can come later. Fast. Go."
"How about you, Sultanam." He asked after hesitating.
"I'll come with Ayşe, Fatma and Hafsa Sultanam. Go fast." I ordered before heading straight towards Ayşe's chamber.
"Ayşe." I called out as soon as I entered her chamber, she was huddled up in the corner with some concubines surrounding her. She rose up and immediately ran into my arms and hugged me tightly.
"Abla, Thank Allah that you're here. I was so scared." She cried out and I patted her head before placing a kiss there.
"It's ok Ayşe everything is going to be fine. Sultan Mehmed Khan will come and save us all. Don't worry." I comforted her even though I myself I was scared.
I turn to the other concubines. "Inform Fatma and Hafsa Sultanam to meet me near the secret passage behind the Harem. Go." I said before pulling Ayşe with me.
When I reached the secret passage behind the Harem that leads outside, Hafsa and Fatma was already waiting for us there. We hurried out to see a carriage ready and Sumbul pacing nervously back and forth biting his nails.
He stopped and bowed to us before opening the door of carriage for us and we all got in. "Sumbul agha have you escorted Halime Sultan and Şehzade Osman in the safe place?" I asked making him more nervous.
"Sultanam, I have successfully escorted His Highness Şehzade Osman to a safe place but. . . "
"But what? Speak Sumbul for Allah's sake!" I yelled at in frustrating.
"Halime Sultan refused to walk out." He announced.
"What!?" I yelled.
"What did that crazy women did!? Does she have a wish to die!?" Hafsa cried out.
"Ya Allah safe her almighty saver and creator of the universe." Ayşe chanted a prayer.
"Inshallah." Sumbul replied before turning towards me. "She told me to give you this." He said before handing me a small note. I hurriedly opened it.
It reads.
Sultanam, I entrust my son, Osman's life to you. Keep him safe. For me. For Mehmed.
"Ya Allah, Halime." I whispered as I read it. My eyes were covered with tears making it impossible for me to see anything. "Why are you so stubborn Halime."
"Sultanam, we have to leave." Fatma said making me clench my fist. I wanted to yell at her to shut up but she was right. I couldn't play with their lives to save Halime now.
She choose her fate.
And now no one can save her. Expect our almighty creator.
"Mehmed, please come fast." I whispered as the door of the carriage closed and we rode towards the Old palace.
