《The Return Of The Broken》The Depths of Betrayal

Hate, that is all the world is.
Standing atop M.T Silver is a boy-, no, after all he has been through he is a man. A man of pain and sorrow. Hiding in the shadows of a happy and dense boy, no one could know how much pain he has endured and how much tears he has shed. Standing beside him is a greninja, his faithful companion that has shared a bond so powerful it has only been done once before. What I am saying is that they could merge their souls in to one and can be in sync. Allowing the greninja to transform in to one of much power. He has not lost a single fight with or without the transformation since The day where everything changed for the man.
"Our 6 year anniversary Greninja," the man grunted, unless you didn't figure it out, this man was called Ash Ketchum. One of the Pride of Pallet Town. Along with Gary Oak.
Ash now looks sinilar that before , but a bit different. His raven black hair still shot out everywhere but his chocolate brown eyes look lifeless, as if drained away in to darkness. His face has also matured in to a handsome look that anyone would fall for. He wore an aura guardian robe similar to Sir Aaron but less flashy and a darker shade of black. Beside his waist he had a sword, but not any sword. This sword was known as the Raining Death, it chooses its master rather than the master choosing it. A Pikachu came crawling up to Ash and hopped on to his shoulder, the trainer looked towards him smiled at him, old habits die hard as they say.
"I just don't see why they did it, what would they gain?" Of course, Ash did know, but he still did not figure out how these 'friends' would just get rid of him, just like that.

"I remember it like it was yesterday..."
Flashback
A bright young male was happily trotting down the route 1, he had a goofy smile on his face and a Pikachu on his shoulder, and having lost in the final round to Alain, decided to return back home.
"Well, we came far havn't we Pikachu?"
He said to the mouse Pokemon, this was the first time he has gotten to the finals of a tournament. And he was very proud of himself. Although he has never gotten a win in a regional league, the fact that he has gotten in to the finals was a sign that he was improving. Like they say, you wouldn't learn anything if you kept on doing everything perfectly, it's okay to make mistakes but you have to learn from them.
Past a small hill they could see a windmill on a tall-ish building, Pikachu and Ash both smiled widely because they knew what it meant...
"Race you there Pikachu!"
He zoomed away towards the building, up the hill, from there he could see a series of buildings lined up in front of him, though you could hear Pikachu groaning at his headstart, it was still a magnificent sight, the still water flowing back and forth from Pallet Town, the windmill slowly turning around, the grass swaying in the soft touch of the wind, This was home at last.
Of course he had a race to finish.
Since he had a headstart, he was a good amount of distance away from Pikachu, that was until Pikachu used quick attack to zoom in front of Ash. He tried to protest at Pikachu but his efforts went out the window when Pikachu stopped, reared his backside, and smacked it. Ash of course being Ash, he ran at him as quick as his legs could carry until he spotted home, where Pikachu was waiting, drinking a cup of tea- wait where did he get it from? He stopped running and bent down to pet the mouse Pokemon which earned him a soft coo.

He knocked on the door twice while calling out "Mom I'm back from my journey!"
Surprisingly, one of his old traveling buddies, Brock, opened the door. "Hey Brocko what's up?" He greeted the squinty eyed labelled doctor. He saw behind the large man his old travelling companions (minus Kalos Krew) behind him.
"Hey Ash, come on in!" He greeted happily,
But he never would've guessed what happened next...

Human][Class: ... ... ...] [Hero] [Welcome to the System] What is a village-born Hero to do, but answer his calling? Current schedule: No chapters for the next few months. I'm still writing the entirety of Volume 2. WARNINGS:-Yes, this contains LitRPG elements after a slow start, promise.-This work is incredibly Slice-of-Life heavy-Also conversation heavy-Also plot heavy (But not in that way, unfortunately)-The pacing in terms of plot is slow -(Edit after a review)- This story is also known as: I honestly don't understand what's the difference between "light" and "dark" stories. I realized that far too late, so this story is... weird. It might be light at times, and dark at times, and in all honesty, definitely has dark undertones. Oh, and prepare to be disappointed or pleased by this story; I understand that this story is polarizing, at least. Cover made by: Fei (@Chippy03966650) / Twitter

Someone Like Adam
"You know, it won't physically hurt you to be nice for once." I crossed my arms in front of my chest and groaned. "I don't want to take a chance." the corner of his lips lifted a little as he finished his sentence. "Well, you don't hear me complaining. The view of a someone so desperately working out is not a delight either." I retorted in a weary voice. "I bet it isn't." he narrowed his eyes at me and commented. Ugh.. Why is he so damn annoying? "You know what, just take your arrogant ass out of my room." I scowled at him, pointing towards the door. With small steps, he walked towards me. I took a step backwards when he neared me. He was invading my personal space, making me a bit flustered. The urge to push back his golden-brown hair covering his forehead was increasing with every passing second. "Gladly." he mumbled against my face and then walked past me out of my room. It took me a minute to calm down my racing heartbeat. ... He was a mystery, an enigma I wanted to solve. He was exhausting, he was infuriating, yet staying away from him was not an option. He was making me feel things I haven't felt before. Adam McArdle! Who are you and what are you doing to my poor little heart?...#1 in GENERAL FICTION (23-05-2019)#1 in CHICKLIT (21-07-2019)
