----- Ash PoV ------

I woke up as usual. My chest felt heavier. I looked down to see sleeping beauty resting her head and having peaceful time. We were sleeping like this since she hatched from the egg. But today it felt different. Was giving a name to the relationship made this much differenence?? I shrugged it off and kissed her on for head.

"Good morning"

"Morning Ashy"

"Let's get ready, we need to start taking steps towards my goal."

"That's our goal Ashy. What is yours is mine too. It maybe pain, happiness sadness anything you..."

"Alright I get it. Don't give me a lecture and a list of that."

"Let's stay like this for a while. I really like this."

"Get up, we can cuddle again at night. And Arceus isn't here to ask for her share."

"Alright mister" she said with a pout.

We had our breakfast and checked out. We went to the Viridian city Gym. There it was again. Mewtwo's presence. I understood that he was in there somewhere. But the guards won't allow us to enter until I have seven badges. I assured Mewtwo that I will come back for him. We decided to skip the viridian forest but then the thought of catching a Beedrill appeared in head. It's always good to make friends with new Pokémon. Besides I needed it for research and mega evolution. We were walking through the jungle when we encountered a weedle. I decided to catch it. I was going to through pokéball at it. I knew I would catch it without any doubt. But then a sword came swinging towards me. Honedge used slash and took battle stance. The sword flung and stuck into the tree nearby. I turned towards the person who caused this. He was merely boy. Roughly of my age. He was wearing a samurai helmet.

"What the heck was that??" I said with anger in my voice.

"It was your test, to check how alert you are." He tried to hide but I could sense fear in his voice.

"Attacking people with sword in a forest, what kind of nonsense is this??"

"there aren't many trainers who pass through Viridian forest. I challenge them to battle and use my sword to intimidate my opponent."

"What the hell do you think when you attack someone with that sword?? If you want a battle then ask for it."

Suddenly there was noise of wings being flapped. A horde beedrill was approaching. I turned around to see a line of dust. It must be that kid who ran away. I used my powers to calm them down. Then the earlier weedle came and told me it was worried about me so he called reinforcement. I still wasn't getting it. Why would he be so concerned about me?? Arceus did tell me there are many secrets I have to discover about myself. I shrugged it off for now and asked weedle for his assistance. He was happy to come with me.

After a few hours of walk I sensed that there was something wrong nearby. We came across a poisoned Pikachu. He was locked in cage. Near him I saw three figures eating something. They were wearing white uniform I think?? It had a R on it. It was a uniform for sure.

"Boss is gonna be proud of us." Said Meowth??

"I highly doubt is Meowth. After three month we are only able to capture a worthless Pikachu." Said the guy with purple hair.

"At least we are able to" I cut her off.

"WTF are you going to do with that Pikachu?? I demand you to release him."

"Huh...

Prepare for trouble"

"And make it double."

"To protect the world from devastation!"

"To unite all peoples within our nation!"

"To denounce the evils of !"

"To extend our reach to the stars above!"

"Shut TFU and release him."

"No one cuts team rocket in between." Said the pink hair.

"weedle go." I threw a pokéball and weedle emerged from the red light.

"Koffing/ ekans come out."

"Honedge go" Honedge floated into the battle field. I gestured Laura to go and free Pikachu.

"Koffing tackle" koffing came charging towards weedle.

"Weedle string shot. Swing him and hit ekans."

Weedle shot w sticky string at koffing. Then used the momentum to hit ekans with him. Ekans dogded it within nick of time but it caused koffing bang on the ground. It fainted.

"Grr... ekans bite." Ekans bit weedle. It cried in pain.

"Honedge fury cutter." Honedge hit ekans hard and sent him back to three idiots.

"Pikachu thundershock." I heard a voice from behind.

A lightbolt came and sent three of them flying into the sky.

"That was unnecessary. We could have just turned them in."

"Sorry" she apologized.

I was about to return weedle when it started to glow. It changed shape and evolved in Kakuna. I thanked him for a good battle and returned. Pikachu was having hard time. We ran out of forest to the Pokémon center. Nurse joy told us it will take some time. To checked in for a room. Kept our bags in it and went. Nurse joy told us Pikachu was back to his health. We decided to check on him.

"What do you mean by that?? I can't see any Pokémon getting abused. they too have feelings."

''

"Sorry to hear that. But if you want you can come with us. We can be your new family." Laura said.

''

"absolutely not." I replied

'' he said.

I held out a pokéball. He looked confused. I told him that he needs to go inside.

''

"that's your choice I won't hurt you."

Went into the forest again for some training. I introduced Kakuna and Pikachu to others. After two hours of training it started to get dark. Pikachu increased his speed and attack power. Kakuna evolved into beedrill.

We sat near a edge of forest looking at the sun set.

"You are sitting on my merchandise mister."

A voice came from behind.

"Sorry, I didn't know." I apologized.

"You seem like a young trainer. You here to challenge the Gym."

"yes I am. And I am going to win it."

"Not with that Pikachu on your shoulder."

Pikachu started to growl at his insult.

"That's rude to underestimate a Pokémon's capacity."

"Brock is a strong Gym leader. He won't be going down."

"In that case I invite you to our battle, and I'll show you not to underestimate my buddy."

"I will be glad to witness."

"Well see you tomorrow at noon."

I walked of. I had decided that Pikachu will battle and he needs some extra training. Next day I woke up and ran straight into forest. We practiced Pikachu on focus punch. We hit a boulder till it shattered into pieces. I was confident that we were going to win.

At noon I entered the Gym.

"my name is Ash. I am here to challenge the gym. To become a Pokémon Master."

"I am Brock the Gym leader and I Accept your challenge."

Shutters from the side of the room opened and a battle field started to form.

"This will be a 2-on-2 official gym battle between Brock the Gym leader and challenger Ash."

"Geodude come out."

"Alright Pikachu lets go."

"Battle begin"

"Geodude rock tomb"

"Pikachu shatter them with focus punch." Pikachu hit the rocks with focus punch.

"Now quick attack get close."

Pikachu obeyed and ran at close.

"Now focus punch on its head." That focus punch knocked out Geodude cold.

"Thanks, Geodude." Brock appreciated Geodude's efforts while calling him back.

"Onix go." From the pokéball a big rock snake imereged.

Pikachu got intimidated by his fierce glare. Pikachu started to use thunderbolt everywhere. It hit the lights and started a minor fire.

"Stay strong Pikachu. We can do it."

"onix use tackle."

"Dogde it."

Embers of fire reached the sprinklers. The field got a bit rainy.

"Now use bind."

"Run on his tail."

Pikachu started to run on the drenched rock snake.

"Now thunderbolt." Pikachu shot a lightning bolt. Water sprinkling all over made it more effective.

Onix was crying in pain.

"Pikachu return." My newest partner ran back to me. "I will come back Brock to win the badge fair and square."

Laura who was in the balcony came down and we left the gym.

We healed our Pokémon. And started walking towards the Mt. Moon.

It was evening. We were walking besides the river.

"Hey Ash wait."

I turned around to see brock running towards us.

"Here you forgot this."

In his hand was the boulder badge.

"I didn't win it yet."

"you won it. Your Pikachu was great. Besides you never even revealed your second Pokémon. You care about Pokémon. My dream is to become a Pokémon breeder. But I can't leave because I have to look after by siblings. So I want you to complete your dream."

I took the badge.

"I will complete my dream."

"It's about time you should go pursue your dream." Someone said.

It was the man selling rocks.

"I guess you saw my battle." I said.

"Indeed, that was quite strategy and power of your Pikachu. Brock you should go to on to travel. It's my job to look after kids now."

"When did you come dad??" Brock asked

"Your telling me that you are his father? That explains why you are so proud of him."

"Hey Ash Would it be a problem if I travel with you."

"Of course not. The more the merrier."

"Thanks Ash"

He went to pack his bag. On the way to MT. Moon got to know each other a bit more. We battled a few trainers and Pokémons.

On the journey towards Mt. Moon Charmander evolved into Charmeleon. We camped near the base of Mt. Moon. Brock is really a nice cook but not as good as mom.

Next day when we reached at the entrance of Mt. Moon, we saw a bunch of zubats attacking a person wearing a white coat. Brock and I threw pokeballs capturing a zubat each. They would come handy as they know way in and out of the Mountain. and their supersonic abilities will help.

Then I asked Pikachu to use thunderbolt on those zubats. After getting electrocuted zubats fled into the cave.

The guy was a scientist. He was studying about the moon stone. Insides of the cave were lit up. While he was trying to explain we came across a Clafairy. It ran into one of the junctions and a loud cry came from there. We ran that direction just to see a meowth scaring that clafairy. Then two figures came from behind wearing a white uniform.

"Laura, I told you rather sending them flying we should have arrested them."

"Do you two know them??" Brock asked.

"Yeah, they are from team rocket. They poisoned and locked Pikachu in a cage before we rescued him."

"let's finish this before they start. Beedrill string shot."

After emerging from the pokéball Beedrill shot string. Binding three of them before they could make their move.

"At least let us introduce our selves."

"Will let you introduce yourselves, but in front of Officer Jenny."

We dragged those three out at the exit of the cave. And turned them to officer jenny. Then a Clafairy came out side. She was holding a moonstone.

''

"you really want this??"

She just nodded. I held a pokéball in front of her.

"Mother would like to have her company, I think. She'll have someone to spend her time with."

"Sure, she would love that. We haven't talked to with her since we left. Maybe we should give her a call."

At the entrance of Cerulean city there was a board showing the remaining distance. The was something else written on it. 'Gary Oak was here.'

'Still has that ego. I thought he left that long time ago.' I thought.

"Alright let's go to the next Gym right away."

"You two go ahead. I need to feel the resources." Brock said.

"Alright let's meet at the Pokémon center at night."

My dream was keeping me going. Telling that I want to become a Pokémon master wasn't a lie but still it wasn't even the complete truth. It kept bugging me, I guess? While talking with Laura what to do next we reached an aquarium which was also gym. Inside there was some kind of show. We went inside. The audience was cheering. Then a spot light was pointed at the top of the diving area. There stood three girls wearing swimsuits. Then the show started. The more time the show took the more time was being wasted on this useless entertainment.

The show finally ended. We searched the whole place to find someone who knows who's the gym leader. We went down stairs where the aquarium was situated. It lacked many water Pokémons from around the world. While we were looking at the Pokémon those three performers arrived. Laura took notice of them.

"excuse me do you know who the gym leader is??" Laura asked.

"We three are the gym leaders. And we are known as sensational sisters." The one in the middle with indigo colored hair wearing green swimsuit said.

"That's great, I am here to challenge you for a gym battle."

"You see we don't have any Pokémon left. Two trainers from nowhere called pallet town came and destroyed us. They are in the Pokémon center right now under treatment."

"Come on! I am not here to waste my time. There are three of you. At least one of you can battle."

"Nope they are all injured."

"Man, waste of time."

"But maybe we can call our sister."

"there are four gym leaders. Then where the hell is forth one?? Aren't the gym leaders suppose to be ready for challengers all the time!!" I screamed. What kind of gym is this??

"Relax, you wanted this then take it." the girl/ leader had a dew drop in her hand??

"What the hell do you think you are doing sister." Some screamed damaging everyone's ear drums.

"Misty what are you doing here? Aren't you supposed to be on your journey to become greatest Water Pokémon trainer?" the girl wearing red suit mocked her.

"Well Daisy, I came across few challengers saying they destroyed the gym. How can you let this happen?? You should train more than just performing."

"says the weakest of us all"

"I'll show you how strong I have become Violet, come on let's head towards the field."

They led two of us to the swimming pool.

"This is our battle field. The battle will be 2-on-2. Battle will end when one side Pokémon are unable to battle."

"Alright"

Laura went to the stands.

"Staryu time to swim"

"Pikachu you are up buddy."

"You have the first move."

"Your funeral. Pikachu quick attack." Pikachu ran towards Starmie while jumping from platform to platform.

"Staryu jump into the water." The starfish Pokémon obeyed the command and jumped into the pool.

"Got you where I needed. Pikachu thunderbolt."

Pikachu shot a thunderbolt at the water. Because water types being weak against electric types, thunderbolt caused a lot of damage.

"Staryu use tackle" but Staryu didn't obey the command.

"Nice it's paralyzed. Let's finish this off with another thunderbolt."

"You did great staryu"

"you did nice buddy now return."

"Starmie time to shine"

"Scizor I choose you."

"Eww take that bug away from here." Misty screamed at top of her voice. This pissed of Scizor. He used zap cannon and one hit K.O.

"Never insult a Pokémon."

"at least I put up a fight"

"Here is you cascade badge. This will prove your victory at cerulean city gym." Said violet holding a badge which looked like a drop.

Laura came and have me kiss on my cheek for my victory.

"That was a nice battle Ash."

"Thanks Brock. I thought you were out for some supplies?"

"well that finished pretty quickly and you weren't at Pokémon center so I decided to pay a visit to this gym."

"Brock what are you doing here? Shouldn't you be at the Pewter Gym?"

Asked the carrot head.

"Well, my father came back and allowed me to go on my own journey to complete my dream. So, I am travelling with Ash."

"Ohhh... I see. Would you mind if I join you three? My goal is to become the best water type Pokémon trainer."

Before I could speak,

"Sure, it would be nice to have another girl to chat with." said Laura.

"And one more gym leader to train with."

Our hero has found one more companion to travel with them. And there are many adventures which await for them as their journey continues....
