Լuke watched as one by one the guards began to slowly drop their weapons. "Take their weapons," he told his students. The boys were quick to obey their master.
"Tie them up," Poe instructed, keeping the point of his sword beneath Ben's ribs.
Finn nodded, then he and Rose began to tie up the guards so that they wouldn't cause any trouble.
Luke gestured and his students hurried over to help Finn and Rose tie up the guards.
Once all of guards were tied up and sitting against the wall, Poe released his grip on Ben. "Nothing personal, buddy," he said, patting Ben on the shoulder.
The captain looked at Poe then at Ben, surprised as he realized that he had been tricked.
"Of course, you just saved my life," Ben answered.
"Well.. actually you have Finn and Rose to thank for that, you actually had me convinced that you were a spy for a moment there."
"Well at least I was able to convince someone," Ben answered. He looked at Finn and Rose. "How did you know that I was lying?"
"Ben... we knew that you would never betray Rey, we know how much you love her," said Rose.
"Besides, even if you were telling the truth, they were still going to take you to Snoke. So we still had to save you," Finn added.
"You would have risked your life to save me, even if I betrayed you?" Ben asked surprised.
"That's what real friends do, they have your back no matter what... even if they betray you," Finn answered sincerely.
Ben clenched his fists, trying to stop himself from crying. He had never had a real friendship until now, they risked their life for him even though they didn't know if he had betrayed them or not. "Then you are a true friend, Finn."

Finn hugged him. "Of course, Rey is like a sister to me... we're family now Ben."
The guards watched amazed, Snoke's Order didn't offer the friendship that they were witnessing, the forgiveness. The king and queen had taken their son back with open arms and given Finn a home, even though they all knew that he had once fought for Snoke. They longed for the friendship and forgiveness that they had just witnessed.
But the captain did not share their longing. "See how weak they have made you Ren?" he taunted.
Normally such words would have filled him with anger, but now he only regarded the captain calmly. He gently took Rey's hand. "They have given me something to live for, something worth dying for. That doesn't sounds weak to me."
The captain laughed but as he looked at his men sitting on either side of him, he saw that none of them joined him as they usual would.
Ben stepped forward and looked at each of the men in turn. "Snoke gave you no choice, but I will. If you want you can join us, we will forgive you and offer you a place among us."
Several of the men began to move to rise and pledge their services to him, but the captain stopped them. "I order you not to follow this foolish boy's treacherous ways."
Most of the men returned to their sitting positions, but one man stood.
"That's an order!"
The man nodded, but made no effort to return to his seat.
"Are you disobeying a direct order from your captain?" he asked.
The man took a deep breath. "With all respect, sir, Ren outranks you. We must follow his orders over yours."
"He has betrayed our commander, that strips him of his rank," the captain argued. "If you betray me, you are disobeying Snoke, the highest member of our order."

"That may be, but the order of the king still stands over Snoke's." The man gestured to Ben. "And you're looking at the future king! If we betray him, we betray our king. I've done that once, never again." He moved to stand next to Ben. "We are fighting to make Snoke, a cruel, unjust man our king. I say that we side with the true heir; a man who has proven to us that he will give us the second chance that Snoke never would."
The captain laughed and looked at his men. "How many of you wish to join this fool?" He laughed again, but his laughter ceased as one by one his men moved to stand next to the prince.
Ben looked at him. "What about you, captain?"
"I will not join you and these treacherous cowards!" the captain spat.
"Captain, don't be a fool. Kylo Ren was the best of us, Snoke's closest ally. If Snoke would throw him to the wolves, he wouldn't hesitate to do the same to a mere captain."
"My loyalties are with Snoke," the captain replied.
"Very well," said Ben. "Uncle Luke is there a place where we can lock him up?"
"The storage room has a lock," he answered. "And enough food to keep him alive until we can send someone to come to get him."
Poe nodded and took the captain to the storage room.
"Uncle Luke, my parents are in trouble. They sent me here to ask if you could come, along with some of your older students," said Ben.
Luke nodded. "Of course."
"And we will fight for you as well, " said the guard who joined him first.
"In that case, I suppose I should return your weapons, " Luke replied.
"And untie us if it isn't too much trouble." The man held out his bound hands.
Luke nodded and his students began to untie the guards and return their swords to them.
"Leave the whips here if you wish to join us, we will not be like Snoke, " Ben said.
The men nodded, discarding their whips.
Luke then began selecting the boys who were old enough to fight, leaving a few behind to take care of the younger boys.
"Go get your armor and your swords, " he instructed them.
"Yes, Master, " the boys replied, then hurried to do as they were told.
