In my mind I was thinking

Except there was, but I couldn't stay this way forever.

It's time to go back to school.

I walked down those ever so sickly familiar halls. Eyes were on me, as if Nadine's ghost was trailing behind me.

I opened my locker and the first thing I remembered was that note that Nadine left me.

"Hey Felix." Scarlett approached me.

"It's Feonix."

"Oh shoot I forgot, anyway how are you since, you know."

"Since Nadine died?" I finished her sentence.

"Um, yeah." Her eyes slightly widened. Like it was some secret, some unspoken thing.

"Fine."

"Really? I would've thought you be a little upset at least, I mean you were kind of dating. I know it was nothing serious. Are you like, depressed or something? Because you should go to therapy for that, that's what my mom does. All the time..."

she trailed off.

"Are you okay Scarlett?"

She looked down. I know she's a bit ditsy and all but I feel kind of bad for her. Although I'm sure it should be the other way around.
