Hush! Kelty thought as loudly as she could, holding her breath and squinching up her face. Just let me sleep. I've had enough trouble for one day.
The Voice remained quiet for a few minutes, and as the silver glow of the moon spilled in through the window like syrup, Kelty began to drift off at last.
