《Dazed and Confused | s. hyde》Chapter 1

Donna Pinciotti never really liked company, so she was upset when she learnt that her cousin, Emma, was going to be living with them. Luckily, their spare room would turn into Emma's room, because Donna was not going to share. When Emma first arrived, Donna didn't really want to be best friends with Emma. All of her parent's attention since she was born was directed at her, because she was the only child, and now she didn't want to share this with a cousin she'd barely met before. The hard feelings left, though, after she was told why Emma had to move in. Her dad, Midge's brother, was just sent to prison and her mom was absent. Donna knew this all very well, though, because of Hyde and all.
"Hey Emma, want to come hang out with my friends," Donna asked on Emma's first day.
"Um sure, I guess, I don't want to intrude," Emma replied.
"Oh trust me, I think my friends will like you, you're fine," Donna said, thinking of Hyde.
Everything about Emma reminded Donna about Steven Hyde. Rock n roll, the whole "nothing bothers me" attitude, not caring about school or what other people think, and the parents situation.
"Okay, sure, thank you," Emma said.
*Eric Forman's basement*
"Guys, I'd like you all to meet my cousin, Emma, who just moved into my house," Donna said.
"Hello," Emma said with the slightest wave.
She got a chorus of hey's and hello's from the rest of the group.
"Okay, Emma, this is Eric, Fez, Hyde, Kelso and Jackie. Kelso's first name is Michael, and Hyde's first name is Steven. Don't call them that, it's weird. You can call Eric, Eric but some call him Forman. No one knows where Fez is from or what his last name is. Kelso and Jackie are dating and so are Eric and I," Donna said, trying to get everything in there.

"Okay, that's a lot to remember but I think I got it," Emma replied.
"So," Hyde started, "what's your last name?" he asked, because he generally only refers to people by their last name.
"Randall, why?" Emma said.
Hyde totally ignored her question and asked her about her music taste, "So, Randall, you like Rock n Roll?"
"Of course, who doesn't," Randall replied in all honestly.
"Why can't you all be like this," Hyde said and Randall let out a laugh. "Who's your favourite band," He asked.
"Zeppelin!" She said.
"Really," Hyde replied, happily.
"No I just saw your shirt. My favourite would probably be AC/DC Or Fleetwood Mac," Randall said.
"Still better than the rest of you," Hyde said, astounded that someone in the basement finally liked his favourite music.
"So," Jackie started soon after Hyde finished talking. "Let's talk. Your skirt, you know I really just don't like buttons, they annoy me," She said.
"Sorry Emma, she's a little obsessed with clothes, and hair, and makeup, and nails," Donna said.
Jackie just looked like an even mix of confused and hurt while she sat back down on the couch.
"So, isn't Randall like a boys name," Kelso asked?
"Yeah, it's also my last name. Hey so I was wondering, isn't Kelso a girls name?" Randall asked back. Hyde stuck his tongue out and let a little laugh out while still not looking up from something he was reading.
"I was wondering," Fez started, "why are men allowed to take their shirts off and women are not! All I want is shirtless women!"
"Oh Fez, we can't all have what we want," Donna said. Randall was just dazed and confused about how strange these people were.

"Okay, so listen, Eric, your parent's party has reached critical mass, it's time to steal those beers," Hyde said seriously.
"Wait what's happening," Randall asked because she wasn't sure what they were doing.
"Making history," Eric stated.
"Eric's parents are having a party, which obviously has beer, which obviously we want," Kelso clarified.
After a few minutes, Eric left and came back with hands full of beer. He handed them out to everyone and they had a lovely, fun, drunk night after that!
