The school day proceeded as normal. Baldi still seemed on edge though. Students made comments on the way he was dressed, some poking fun, others saying he was cute. It bothered me a little, and they could tell, but I didn't say why.
I was prepared to meet Baldi in his office again at the end of the day, but my plan was cut short by an announcement over the loudspeaker.
The Principal's monotone and droning voice flooded the school. "Will (Y/N) please come to the office... I repeat... (Y/N) to the office please..."
I brushed it off. He would know where I was, he could just meet me afterwards. I wandered the halls, searching for his office. I scanned the walls, not looking ahead until I bumped into him and I stumbled backwards.
"I'm sorry! I'm so sorry!" I apologized hastily, brushing myself off. "You uh, said to meet you in your office."
He showed no expression and nodded. He grabbed my wrist and silently drug me through the blinding white hallways to a room in the center of the school. There were portraits of people on the walls. The Principal himself... Baldi... Gotta Sweep... Playtime? And the Bully? And that robot that won the science contest?
I stepped in and heard a click behind me. He locked the door.
"So why did you bring me here?" My tone was slightly panicked. I remembered Baldi's nightmare and how terrified he was.
The teenage-looking man didn't respond.
"I said why did you bring me here?" I had no intent on giving him my respect, especially now. "Hello?"
I looked around the room and didn't see him. My heart rate skyrocketed and my fingers went numb. "Where the-" I groaned, my question being cut off with a hand over my mouth.
My eyes shot open and I grabbed at the hand, but it was sealed on my face. Sounds of struggle were mumbled through his hand.
He was right. He was fucking right. I sweated, gulping.
"You can't do anything, (Y/N)." The man muttered, pushing me to the ground and up against a corner. "You get to sit back and listen. And if he doesn't cooperate, he gets to watch you."

He reached onto his desk and pulled a roll of duct tape. He roughly shoved me against the wall with his elbow, my head knocking back and hitting the stone.
I kicked his knee in a desperate attempt to free myself, squirming like a maniac. He ripped off a piece of tape and slapped it over my face. My lips stung and he glared at me with his empty, black eyes.
"You do as I say." He growled. "And things might just get easier for you."
I was almost sure that everything was over. I shut my eyes and nodded. Fighting back was no use. I couldn't defend myself anyway.
He made a satisfied humming noise in his terribly droning voice. Turning around, he walked to his desk, occasionally glancing at me.
I was too terrified to move my hands from fear of what he could do. I prayed to myself in my head.
Please, I pleaded, tears welling up in my eyes as the numb feeling spread. Please Baldi. I need you.
Small whines escaped my mouth and I tried my best to hush myself. The Principal turned, clearly annoyed. I wiped my eyes on my knee, looking at the windows of the room with my clouded vision.
A green blur stood outside one of the windows, advancing towards the room, sharp smacking sounds becoming louder as he came closer in proximity.
"That damn bald headed..." he muttered, stomping over to the door and throwing it open. I was sure that I'd lose him too.
But he wasn't there.
A flare of hope burned in my chest and I smiled through the tape. He knew what he was doing.
The Principal groaned, pulling the door shut and whipping his head around, only to be met by Baldi, inches away from him.
How did he?...
Baldi held a devious smirk on his face, a chipped ruler in hand. It was conveniently sharp at the end and rather splintered. "So you went through with it." It was more of a statement than an answer.
The Principal threw a punch, his fist whizzing through the air. Baldi simply grabbed his wrist and slapped his hand down.
My fingernails picked at the ends of the tape on my lips, trying to pry it off in fear.

The Principal flinched and retracted his hand, clearly surprised. "Don't even try." He droned, shaking his fist and then clenching it tightly, glaring at him with his voided eyes.
"Why not? What are you going to do?" Baldi spat back. I swore for a second I saw something wrong with his eyes. Like a faint, red glow. Not their usual green. He laughed and reached out towards the Principal's head, but hit nothing.
Both my and Baldi's eyes widened as the Principal faded to a pile of black dust. I desperately clawed faster at the edges of the tape, anger filling my whole body.
It isn't fucking coming off! I carved my nails into my face, ripping a portion of the tape. What is this, metal tape or some sick shit?
The smaller man appeared behind Baldi, wrapping his arm around his neck and pulling him backward. Black and purple smoke swirled around his lanky body as he held a stern face.
He just teleported.
Baldi choked up and gripped the ruler in his left hand, swinging back with all of his force into the Principal's leg. The razor sharp end of the wooden tool plunged into his thigh, causing black blood to spill and stain his jeans.
He let go just long enough for Baldi to pry his arm away, slamming him up against the wall and kneeing him in the stomach with a grunt.
Adrenaline pumped through my veins even though I wasn't the one in the fight. I finally broke the tape free and screamed at Baldi.
He's going to kill him. I though, watching punches being thrown directly at the Principals face. Blood kept spilling from his leg, and every time he tried to make a move, Baldi always was before him.
"STOP!" I screamed, standing up on shaky legs, gripping the chalkboard's ledge behind me. "You're going to kill him!"
Baldi turned to me, and my speculation was true. The irises of his normally beautiful emerald eyes were blood red. I stepped back in utter shock. Everything was spinning.
"Ṱ̶̼͉̋ḥ̸̌̏̾̈ȃ̶̖̦̘̳ṭ̵̨̑'̵̭̹̱̙̆͌s̷̢̱̆ ̶̺̟̉̒͑t̸̹̤͂͑͠ḧ̵͙̥̻̈́̚ȩ̵̝̍̊͝ ̴̹͋p̴̝̪̣̎͋̑l̵͕͂̎a̶̗̦͑̏̕ň̵̘̼̈́̽.̷͎̈̈" He uttered, in a voice that didn't belong to him. He just kept his gaze on me, wrapping his fingers around the man's throat without even looking.
The pinned man's face turned purple from a lack of oxygen, desperately swinging his half functioning legs, causing more blood to seep. I wondered why he didn't just teleport away, but I had no idea of the extent of his abilities.
"NO! It's not!" I pleaded, watching him descend into total fury. "There's a better way to deal with this!" I stepped forward. The edged ruler pointed towards me and I froze, fingers twitching.
He didn't stop squeezing the man's throat.
"I̴ ̷w̷a̴r̷n̵e̶d̶ ̶y̴o̵u̷ ̶a̵b̶o̶u̶t̷ ̴t̸h̸i̸s̸.̴ ̷L̸o̵o̸k̸ ̸a̷t̴ ̶w̵h̶a̶t̵ ̴h̷a̷p̸p̴e̶n̵e̸d̵.̸ ̶I̷ ̷w̴o̸u̶l̴d̸ ̵s̴a̷y̷ ̷i̸t̶'̸s̵ ̵y̶o̸u̵r̶ ̷f̸a̷u̶l̵t̶,̴ ̶b̷u̵t̵ ̸I̴ ̷c̶a̴n̶'̶t̵ ̶b̴e̶ ̷m̷a̷d̷ ̷a̷t̵ ̸y̴o̷u̶.̷" His voice was more humanoid, his tone sounding weaker.

I just nodded and stepped back, aware that I couldn't do anything. This wasn't him. He was acting like someone else. He resonated evil and pure horror. And instead of being pulled towards him, I was being pushed away.
Everything faded to slow motion.
The limp Principal against the wall, jet blood covering his jeans, shoes and the floor. The blood on Baldi's hands and the ruler. Me, sitting here defenseless.
The ruler rose in the air, plunging down into the center of the Principal's chest.
A weak gasp escaped my mouth as I fell back down onto the ground, feeling splatters of blood on my face.
I looked at them both. The man I loved, doused in blood with a weapon of murder in his hand. The Principal, slumped against the window sill, lifeless body twitching and gushing blood.
Baldi pulled the ruler out with a horrifying schlep.
His hand opened and the body fell to the floor, crumpling onto a nearby desk.
Pathetic sounds spit from my mouth in an attempt to formulate words.
Baldi turned his head to me and gave a sinister smile, his eyes glowing crimson.
