I stepped out of the shower, I was drying my hair in the mirror when I noticed my empty wrist. I immediately looked at my wrist "where is it? '' I frowned at myself.
I started searching my drawer it was not there, now I am panicking, I started throwing my pillow maybe I have put it there....shit I cursed myself.
"Woah woah damn women what the hell you have done to your room." I looked at the voice, Kacey was standing at my doorway placing her hands on her hips with raising eyebrows.
"My bracelet Kacey, my bracelet, I -I lost it Tristan gave me that on my birthday he told me to wear it always, He specially made it for me . And it's lost" I said with a down shoulder.
ALEX P.O.V
I entered my home office for some work. When I stepped on something, I looked down and saw a diamond embroidered bracelet with a letter written in diamond J whose bracelet I thought to myself. A flash cross in my mind and then I remember it was Jade bracelet , but what was it doing here I thought
Just then my phone started ringing.... I took it out from my pocket and look at the caller id, it's from my P.A.
"Hello.... "I said in a professional tone.
"Si- sir ou- our company has suffer from huge loss. " She said her voice was full of panic.
"What do you mean by huge loss?"I yelled at her.
"Sir I don't know somebody steal the important file from your home office and gave it to rival company our source told us that it a lady." I hung up at her. I was just running downstairs. I saw Angela running towards me and crying badly.

"Angel" I ran toward her, "Angel what happen why are you crying, did somebody hurt you." I asked worriedly.
Just then I saw the nanny come fastly. I cannot control my anger, " what the hell happened to her ," I screamed, making her flinch back.
"Sir s- sir when we were coming back from Angela school there was paparazzi ,they surrounded us and started asking questions..". but Angel cut her,
"That you are not my father " She whispered looking at me with blue eyes filled with tears, my heart ache seeing her like this, I kneed down in front of her ,I cupped her face. A tear escaped from my eyes. "Daddy tell me daddy I am your daughter or not please tell me the truth". I froze in my spot . Words are not coming from my mouth. "Yo- you are my daughter" Her face turned into anger,she yanked my hands away from her.
"Noo you are lying, you are a liar, I hate you... "she yelled at me . And ran upstairs. I clench my fist. My mind stop working I felt my world collapse, my daughter hates me. I whisper. I stand ," Whoever did this will pay the price. "
Now I am standing in editor office, he was looking at me in horror, I was beyond angry now. " WHO GAVE YOU THE INFORMATION ABOUT MY DAUGHTER. " I slam my both hands on the desk so loudly that he flinches back in fear , he looks terrified. Maybe I am nice to everyone but it doesn't give anyone the right to mess with me and whoever does surely pay the price .
"Sir, a lady called us today morning and gave this information to us. "
"What's her name??" I demanded.
"She didn't told her name, sir she just said her name first word." He said fear was evident in his eyes.
"What is it.. " I get impatient.
"She said.. J "
"J" !! I was confused... my eyes went wide when realization hit me life tonnes of brick
Jade she was in my office and I told her about Angel truth.. she did this... my heart doesn't want to believe me but my mind....
I clench my fist in anger and say one name which I hate the most right now.
