The wind in the air was cold. I shivered slightly on the roof. Everything seemed so slow but no one had a quirk to slow down time. If I had a wish, I would wish to restart life again. I ran faster than sound. Faster than the wind itself. Tears were shed, and they're still shedding. I never thought I would cry again but here I am now. My voice grows hoarse as I shout out loud to the person who always chased after me,
"DEKUUUU!!!!!!!!!" This boy full of regret said.
At the last second, everything turned silent as the wind flew faster. Everything happened so fast.
My legs are tired. I want a rest. I just want to take a break from all of this.
At one moment, he fell. At another moment, I ran. In a flash, I grabbed the boy's hand, just barely. (This is just like that one scene in 'Silent Voice'). I held onto Deku's hand with utmost strength. "URARAKA! MAKE DEKU LIGHTER!" I shout out to round face. As soon as I said that, she came over and touched Deku. When he became lighter, I pulled him up on the roof. When I looked at his face, he was crying.
Everyone started to come out. "Deku! I'm glad you're okay!" Iida said. I looked at him using a gesture that said 'not now Iida'. "But.. why?" Said Deku. Without hesitating, I hugged him in a warm embrace, his tears staining my uniform. But I don't care. This was a moment that needed to be cherished. "Don't ever do that to me again! Forget the stupid past and take a look at the present Deku! I've changed goddammit. Everyone here cares a lot about you so don't you dare try pulling that stunt again!" I said in tears. "I'm sorry.. I'm so sorry." Deku said in sobs. "Don't you dare apologize when it's not your fault too." I smiled. We stayed there in that position for seconds, even minutes. "Well I'm glad that you didn't jump." Icy hot said. "Deku.. I'm so sorry that I didn't do anything about it! We all knew you weren't actually fine, but no one tried to help you. I'm sorry.. I'm so sorry. I'm such a bad friend!" Pink cheeks said after Icy hot. "Don't worry Uraraka San.. it's all okay now it's all ok." The once-shaking-boy smiled. Then, Round face came and joined the hug. Soon, everyone else joined too. "We're all sorry Deku."

This is not a litRPG or gamelit story and no D&D mechanics or system appear in the game. It follows one member of an adventuring party as he deals with the problems with that arise from being an adventurer. Namely, getting roped into adventures. The story has a time loop element, but will eventually move past that. This story explores the magic systems, the history, and the lore of the world through the lens of Tal's entries in his Spellbook and interludes from other written works in the world.
