VERY IMPORTANT CHAPTER

"Alex, can I talk to you?", I asked him, standing on his doorstep.

"Yea sure little sister", he motioned his hand for me to come inside his room.

"We're twins", I rolled my eyes at him and went inside.

"But I'm older", he moved aside and made space for me to sit on his bed.

"25 seconds!", I said while sitting on his bed.

"Still older", he winked at me and wrapped his right arm on my waist.

I rolled my eyes again.

"What is it that you wanted to talk about?",he asked me.

"Umm, so you know that I'll be meeting the rest of our family, right?"

He nodded.

"So I was wondering if you could tell me about them a little?", I asked nervously.

"Aw, of course Rose", he smiled at me.

I smiled at him too.

"Okay, so let's start. I'm gonna tell you everything that I know of. I'll take it from the top.

William West and Nina West, our great grandparents.

They migrated from England to America mainly for business. Then they settled down here. Grandma Nina was Italian.

Her parents didn't want her to marry grandpa William. So they ran away from Italy to England, from where grandpa William was originally from.

Then they had three kids, their oldest son. Secondly our grandpa, Aristole and his twin sister Amelia. I forgot about the oldest sibling. Ask that to Lijah or Riley.

They were a happy family. But after a few years, grandma Nina's Italian family found them. It wasn't safe anymore to live in England. So they moved to the USA. Few years later, it was found out that grandma's whole Italian family died in a building that caught fire.

Then grandpa Aristole met grandma Mikalya. They both fell in love, got married and had 4 sons, including our dad.

Our dad, John, was the second oldest son. He met our mom, Leena, when he was in his twenties.

They both fell in love and got married. They had our brothers and you and me. The rest of it, you know it already.

Uncle Joseph was the third oldest son. He was married to Marta, had Riley and Max. He's dead now. You know….why.

Uncle Jeremy was the youngest brother of dad. He was married to aunty Sasha. I've heard she was a very lovely women, who loved to bake sweets. She was our mom's best friend. That's how uncle Jeremy and her met each other.

They had Julian and Chris.

Then after that, we have grandma Amelia. Grandpa's twin sister, who's locket you have. She isn't there anymore. She was married to her high school sweetheart, grandpa David. They had 2 sons.

They are the ones you'd be meeting.

Uncle Johny is the older one. Nearly our dad's age. He was the one who helped us and taught Elijah about business. His wife's name is Rina. They have one son.

Uncle Jeffrey is the younger one. His wife's name is Agatha. They have 2 kids.

You see, all of our family members were mostly males. Grandma Amelia was the last female born in this family before you. Your death, the untrue death obviously, was a shock for everyone. That's why I'm telling you, don't worry. Everyone loves you very very much.

Also, our mom's younger sister will be there to meet you too.

We've been in touch with aunty Katherine ever since. She's amazing. You will love her. Her husband's name is Dante. They have a 9 year old little daughter, Kish.

Last time, Kish put lipstick on Chris's face. It was really funny to see the big bad Chris trying to babysit a little girl", Alex burst out laughing.

I started laughing too. Imaging Chris with lipstick on his subtle face.

Hm, so I have a pretty big family. I already forgot half the names.

"Rose, there's something you need to know", Alex said hesitatingly.

"What is it?"

"Look, I'm supposed to tell you this. Riley and Elijah will beat the life out of me if they found out that I told you, but it's necessary. I don't want you to be dumbfounded or completely bewildered on the family gathering so I'm telling you now. To have you prepared", he stopped and took a deep breath.

I turned to face me straight, giving him all my attention.
