Rose's POV.

"We have a half brother."

"Cool", I said with a neutral face.

"Wh-what…?",he seemed shocked by my reply.

"I already found out that my grandpa was in jail. Nothing could top that", I rolled my eyes.

"Oh um, don't you like, wanna find out how that happened?",he asked me, looking curious for my reaction.

"I know I will find out eventually. Besides, I need to be ready for more shocks because I know there are many things that I don't know yet", I said with a bored expression.

"Okay…", he trailed off. He looked away. He knew I was right.

"I am bored", I told him.

"Me too. Let's go to the first wing?", he asked me.

I nodded. He took my hand and we went to the first wing.

"I am going to play call of duty", he told me.

"I need water. I am going to the kitchen", I said while walking away, towards the kitchen of the first wing.

In the kitchen, I saw that the fridge was open.

I could see someone's butt in front of it with his face and upper body in the fridge. He seemed like searching for something.

"No yogurt, you've gotta be kidding me", I heard the grumpy voice.

I cleared my throat to get his attention.

He turned around and looked at me. The stranger looked me up and down while I did the same.

He had dark brown hair and dark brown eyes. He seemed nearly 5'8" tall. He wore a simple white tee-shirt with blue lines and black shorts.

He looked nearly Dean's age.

"Who are you?",he raised his eyebrows at me.

"Who are you?" I asked with the same raised eyebrows expression.

"I am Spiderman", he said with a smug look.

"I am Captain Marvel", I said with the same smug look.

His smug look was replaced with a scowl.

"You-", he started but was cut off.

"What's happening here?", Dean asked loudly while coming inside the kitchen.

He was followed by a guy who also looked nearly his age. He wore a brown leather jacket with his messy black hair. He looked like 6'1" tall.

"Who is he?" "Who is she?",me and the spiderman stranger asked at the same time.

"Stop! Don't say what I am saying!",we both said again at the same time.

"No! You! Stop it!",we both said together. Again.

"Ok!", Dean said with his hands in the air in order to stop us. We both looked at him.

"Is he a burglar?", I asked Dean.

The guy looked shocked by my words and the other stranger seemed like trying to control his laughter.

"Burglar!? You are accusing Tyler Harrington of being a burglar!? IS YOU FOR REAL??",he asked me with wide eyes and his jaw dropped on the floor.

"Oh shut up Tyler. Don't be such a drama queen", the other stranger rolled his eyes at the Tyler dude.

"Drama!? You think this is drama! I may be a cheater, but I'm not a burglar", he said with a grumpy expression.

"Sweetheart-", Dean turned to face me,"- this asshole is my friend Tyler. And asshole-", he turned to the guy,"- this is my baby sister. Be nice to her".

"Huh? Baby sister?",he looked confused.

"Hey, What's happening in here", I heard a female voice from behind. I turned around and saw a beautiful blonde girl.

She was followed by 2 other girls and a guy.

"Is that her?",one girl asked Dean. She had semi green hair.

"Yeah. That's my sister", Dean said with a proud look. "Rose, These are all my friends",he told me.

"Hello Rose, I am Monika. Dean wouldn't stop talking about you. It's finally nice to meet you", one Asian looking girl smiled at me. She had beautiful brown hair with brown eyes.

I smiled back and waved my hand at her.

"I am Juliet. And you're adorable", the blonde girl told me with a big smile.

"Thank you", I whispered.

"I am Liam", the blonde guy said with a smile and bought his hand out for a handshake. I shook it softly.

"I am Nate", the first guy who came with Dean told me. He had a grin on his face.

"Hi", I said to him.

"I am Claire", the semi green haired girl told me with a smile. I smiled back.

"And this is Tyler", the spiderman guy said referring to himself with an amused expression.

"I thought you were Spiderman?", I asked him with a raised eyebrow.

"That's a part time job", he said while shaking my hand.

"Okay", I giggled.

"We are The Cheaters", Nate told me.

"Huh?"

"It's our world famous band. Listen to our music sometime", Juliet told me with a smile.

I nodded.

"What are you doing here?", Dean asked me.

"I came here with Alex. Then I got thirsty and came here for water", I told him.

"Oh! Here", Tyler passed me the water.

I took the bottle with a small thank you.

"We were going to watch a movie. Do you wanna join?", Monika asked me.

"Okay. I'll ask Alex too", I told them and went to get Alex.

"Alex, we are watching a movie. Do you wanna come?", I asked him.

"Okay", he stood up.

We went to Dean and his friends and settled down.

Monika, who was next to me, spoke,"I can't wait for us to be a family", she told me excitedly.

"Huh?"

She saw my confused expression and looked at Dean, "you didn't tell her Dean?",she asked him.

He looked at us,"tell her what?"

"About V?", she asked him. A look of realisation crossed his face.

"Oh, uh… I uh, um", he was scratching the back of his neck.

"He is engaged to my sister Veronica", she told me.

"What!?", I abruptly stood him and gave Dean a murderous glare.

"Hehe, I was about to tell you...?",he laughed nervously.

"Tell me when, huh!?",I swear to god my face was red by now.

"Um, don't worry. You will meet her in your party", he told me nervously.

I just huffed and sat down and continued to watch the movie.

During the whole movie, I saw Nate was continuously glancing at Monika every few minutes.

"He has a thing for her", Alex whispered in my ear.

"Ohh".

After the movie finished, I decided to go and talk to Riley.

I was thinking of getting a present for Max when we visit him in the hospital. But I don't know anything about him. So the best thing to do is to take opinion from Riley.

Chris told me that he is in the fifth wing, so now I'm going to the fifth wing.

It was a two minute walk to the fifth wing.

"N-no mam. I'm so so-sorry. Plea-please don't do this. It will not happen a-again", I heard a fragile feminine voice.

I followed the voice and went towards the corridors.

There I saw a girl who looked like 5'0" tall. She was even smaller than me. But she seemed a little older. Maybe 17?

She looked scared.

Kristian, the head maid was standing in front of her with an angry expression.

"You bitc-", she raised her hand to slap her but my voice stopped her.

"What's happening here?", I asked. Kristian looked at me and her eyes widened.

"Mam wh-what are you doing here?",she asked me.

"Do I need your permission to rome around in my own place?", I asked her with a raised eyebrow.

She seemed shocked by my reply, "no no mam. That's not what I mean."

"Then what do you mean? And why were trying to hit her", I asked with an angry voice.

The poor girl was teary eyed. I turned to her and asked in a soft voice, "what happened to you?"

"She was bre-", Kristian started but I cut her off.

"I asked her and not you", I told her. Her face turned red but she remained quiet.

I put my hand on the shoulder of the girl, she flinched. I took it away but said ," don't worry, I will not hurt you. I am Rose, you can tell me what happened".

"I-I am Julia. I accidentally br-broke this va-vase while working. I-I am sorry mam bu-but I really need this job. Plea-please don't fire me", she while big tears were flowing down her face.

It hurt me to see someone in pain. It reminded me of my time with Jack and Gini. The way they broke me on the smallest mistakes.

I was really angry at Kristen.

"It's just a vase Kristian. I don't want you to hurt her. And Julia, if you ever need anything, come to me", I told sweetly to Julia and angrily to Kristen.

Kristian gritted her teeth, "look, your brothers work hard to earn. You can't just let her off without saying anything!",she said angrily to me.

"Yea, well it's my choice what I say and what I don't! You are no one to make decisions here because you-", I pointed at her, "- work for me-", I pointed at myself, "- so if you'd like to keep your job, watch your words", I warned her in a calm voice.

"Now get out of my face and get back to work", I spat. She literally ran away from there.

I helped Julia stand up with offering my hand. She slowly took and stood up.

"Th-thank you mam, you didn't have t-to-", I cut her off.

"Don't thank me, ok. I only did the right thing", I told her with a smile.

"How old are you?", I asked her.

"I am 23", she told me.

"You look like 17", I told her with wide eyes.

She laughed, "I know. Everyone says that. Do you mind telling me your age?",she asked me.

"I am 15", I told her. She said oh.

"I should go now. I am looking for my brother", I told her. She nodded and we parted ways.

I've never been to the 5th wing before, so I decided to go around it before looking for Riley.

It's been 15 minutes.

There's nothing special in this wing. It's normal as fuck.

I still couldn't find Riley.

I looked around for a few more minutes.

Suddenly I heard a weird kind of noise.

I went towards it.

"I don't give a fuck about it! You are mine and I will not let anyone take you away from me!", I heard the angry voice of... Riley?

I went nearer to the room.

"What-what are you talking about", someone said. I immediately recognised the voice. It was Julia, from earlier.

"Don't act innocent. I know what you were doing last night", Riley's voice came angry.

"Well, sir, it is none of your business what I do in my personal life", Julia told him bravely.

"You-", the loud sound of the flower pot falling down cut him off.

I accidentally slipped the flower pot.

Oh fuck!
