Rose's POV.

"Rose, meet Apollo. Your half brother", grandfather said to my shock.

"I-", I stopped mid sentence. I don't know what I am supposed to say or how I should react to this.

I knew I had a half brother already. But meeting, I wasn't ready for it, no matter how much I prepared myself.

How are you even supposed to react if one day suddenly you're told that you have a half brother?

The guy, who was supposedly my half brother, stared at me.

He looked conflicted. And then he looked away.

"If my purpose here is done, can I leave?", he asked, looking at my grandfather.

"Apollo, you met Rose for the first time. It wouldn't hurt you to at least be civil to her", Julian scoffed.

"And it wouldn't hurt you to mind your own fucking business you cunt", Apollo spat at Julian.

Julian looked outraged.

Before he could shot back a reply, Elijah spoke, "Apollo! That is no way to talk to your older brother", he told Apollo in a deathly warning. His voice was full of controlled anger.

"Well, that's great because he-", Apollo pointed at Julian with the index finger of his right hand and said, "- is not my fucking brother".

"Apollo, stop", grandfather told him. But he didn't seem bothered with his behavior, as his voice was cool.

When Apollo didn't say anything, grandfather said again, "I think we should go to the party, guests must be waiting".

"Oh my god Blue! You look B-E-A-U-T-I-F-U-L", Elena said the moment she saw me.

Elena still calls me Blue. I told her about everything but she's been calling me Blue, so I let her.

"You look pretty too", I told her with a sweet smile.

"Duh! I am your bestfriend so I gotta match you. Also, I've been waiting for you since 1 million years, where the hell were you!", she said with a playful eye roll and hugged me tightly.

"Eh, I was a part of a very.... reunion", i said rubbing at my temples.

I still didn't know how to think of what just happened merely 30 minutes ago.

"Oh, let me tell you-", Elena started and paused to do a dreamy eye look and said, "- your new brother is so freaking hot. Omg, I'm gonna faint".

I rolled my eyes and said, "and let me tell you, I'm gonna puke,".

"But how-", thank god she wasn't able to finish what she was about to say because grandfather's voice boomed through.

"May I have a minute's attention please", he requested everyone.

Everything went silent. And that's when I realized, not for the first time, of my grandfather's power.

"Today, on this special day, we are here to celebrate the return of my dear grand-daughter. But today, I also have 2 big news to share with everyone. First, we are merging our eastern business lines with the Cimorelli Enterprises-", he said and there were gasps of shock for some reason and some people even applauded.

After some minutes grandfather continued, "-the second news is that, I wanna announce my grandson Elijah's engagement with Diana Miller", he finished his little speech.

I just stood there open mouthed and shocked. I saw that Alex and my other brothers, except Julian and Riley had the same expressions too.

Wow, I did not see THAT coming.

I turned my face to look at Elijah and Diana. With their hands entwined, Diana was blushing and Elijah was scratching the back of his neck, obviously embarrassed of all the accusing looks he was receiving from me and my brothers.

"When did this even happen?", Chris asked him with narrowed eyes.

"Yes Elijah, you didn't even tell us. It's like, we don't even matter to you...", Cayden said, obviously disappointed.

Chase and Rayan looked really sad.

"Guys, guys, guys, stop. At Least hear what he has to say", Riley stepped in between. He tried to decrease the tension in the air.

"And you-", Alex pointed a finger at Riley and said, "- stop defending him".

"It's fine Riley. I know these guys are mad at me. And obviously they will be. But just hear me. Everything happened really quick. Last night, well... with the help of Riley and Julian I set up a plan to propose to Diana. And I didn't tell you guys because today was a big day for Rose and Alex. And I didn't want to ruin it with anything that could have caused drama. I am sorry", Elijah said with a genuinely sorry expression.

"It's okay Elijah, the important thing is you're happy", I said with a smile on my face. And then I turned to Diana and said, "you're going to be my sister in law!", I giggled.

She came and gave me a tight hug.

She broke away and looked at me, "I've always wanted a family. And now I have you as my little sister", she said with a soft smile that showed that the idea actually brought her happiness.

"Guys! Enough the emotional talk. Let's dance!", aunt Katherine glared at my brothers. She came ahead and took my hand and dragged me to the dance floor.

Everyone started enjoying and dancing.

The DJ played Dura by Daddy Yankee and everyone and everything was spinning. The lights were dimmed out and we danced like crazy.

Elena took my hand and spun me around. We burst out laughing when I tripped and almost broke my butt.

"ROSY BLUE! THIS IS AMAZING", she yelled over the music.

"I KNOW RIGHT!", I yelled back.

Everyone was enjoying themselves but Dean was standing in the corner, at the bar. He had a glass of whiskey in his hand and his eyes were stuck on a certain blonde girl who's face I couldn't see from behind.

After a few minutes he shook his head and turned his head away.

Elena grabbed my arm and pulled me aside. "Bro, I'm tired. Let's get some drinks", she said.

I nodded and we went to get some drinks.

Me and Elena got us glasses of fruit beer and pretended to be drunk, as we drank.

She started laughing and so did I.

I can't believe my life took this turn and I wouldn't want it any other way.

I am so happy. Nothing can go wrong now.

"Yo, whatcha thinkin?", Elena asked me.

I shook my head and smiled.

Suddenly my head started spinning. I felt dizzy.

I held my head in my hands.

"Are you okay?", Alex asked me while coming off the dance floor.

"Yes I am fine. I need to use the restroom. I'll be right back", I told him and walked away.

I washed my face and looked in the mirror.

I was shocked. My face was flushed.

Guess too much fruit beer isn't good for me. Gotta be careful next time.

I walked out of the bathroom.

My head spun. I put my hand on the wall to steady myself.

Suddenly a hand was clamped on my face. A handkerchief was placed on my face.

"Had enough fun, time to go where you belong little bitch", I heard a voice. But it felt far away. My vision was darkening.

And slowly, I felt myself going into a state of unconsciousness.

But that didn't worry me at all.

I was too engaged in processing my step father, Jack's voice...
