Elijah's POV.

"Meet me with your brothers. I will let you know where and when. Oh and I want each one of your brothers to be there", I sensed a smirk behind his voice.

"But what the fuck do you want!?", I asked Jack, Rose's step father, with fury.

"Oh you will know soon."

I closed my eyes, I cannot be angry right now. If I do not talk to him in a civil manner, he might hurt my baby sister and my fiancé. I need to be careful with my words.

"Please don't hurt my sister and my Diana. If you want money, you can have everything I have. Just leave them", I said slowly.

He let out a cruel chuckle and said, "ohh no no no. This is way bigger than money now. I don't want your money. I just want your family to be there."

And then, he hung up.

Everything went silent and no one dared to speak anything.

"Why would he want us?", Riley wondered.

"Yeah. Elijah even offered him so much money", Cayden said.

"I don't know man, this seems pretty vague, doesn't it? I am very suspicious of this Jack Whore", Dean muttered.

"Let's just wait here", I said.

We were here.

After a 3 hour flight, here in this hilly area was where he asked to come.

We couldn't drive because it was too far to go by car. I am sure he must've known about our private plane. Otherwise he wouldn't demand us here on such short notice or it would be impossible.

He sent us the location today morning and wanted us here by afternoon.

"I don't like waiting", The end of the note said.

I wish I didn't have to bring my little brothers. He could hurt them.

I can take it. But I don't want to see my brothers getting hurt.

Especially Cayden and Alex.

"I don't think he's coming. We've been waiting for 2 hours", Apollo said out loud.

Surprisingly enough, Apollo insisted to come.

"Rose's step father asked all her brothers to be there. And if he had kidnapped her from the party, he must know about me. We can't take chances", that's what he had said.

I still can't believe that he actually cared a shit.

Uncle Johnny and uncle Jeffrey including Blade and grandpa were here too.

I asked them not to come because it wasn't safe. But they did not listen to me.

"If your dad was here, would you not take him either?", uncle Johnny had asked.

I felt myself tear up. My uncles care so much about me and my siblings. So I let them come with me and my brothers.

We did not bring Tatirius. There was no way anyone could ever agree to bring him, it wasn't even up for discussion. He is only 12. Too young to be put in something so dangerous like this.

"Maybe we should wait a little more", uncle Jeffery said to Apollo.

Before anyone could say anything, a loud gunshot was heard.

Everyone turned behind.

And there he was, Jack Hore with his wife Gini Hore, standing at the edge of this 200 feet cliff. He shot into the air, to get our attention perhaps.

He was smirking and so was his wife. I suddenly remembered the time when we were in the hospital and she was crying about how much she 'loves Blue'.

Liars.

"I hope they fall down into this damn cliff, drown to death and then a shark eats them, just to be sure they're dead", Apollo scoffed under his breath.

"For the first time, I actually like him right now", Chris whispered to Rayan. But I heard them because they were standing close to me.

And I couldn't help but agree.

"Oh look, what do we have here. Heaven must've evened out all the odds that I got the privilege to have "all" The West Brothers in one place", he said with an evil smirk.

With his crazy curly whitish ash blonde hair, tall slim posture and thick silver rimmed glasses, he looked no less than a mad scientist from a science fiction movie. If the situation was different, this would've actually been comical.

"And if I had your humor, I would be too embarrassed to be even alive", Apollo said with a yawn.

I think I like this guy now.

Jack's smirk grew wider and as he looked at Apollo closely, he said, "Huh. I thought killing your own brother must be more embarrassing".

Apollo's eyes grew wide and so did everyone else's.

How did he know about that.

That is highly confidential information. Nobody knows it, except the older members of our family. Even Rose isn't aware.

"Wh-what is he talking about?", Alex whisper asked to no one is particular.

"Oh you don't know? Poor Alex. Y'all keep so many secrets from your own family. Isn't that called umm... i don't know... a family based on lies!", he chuckled.

"What...?", even Chris, who was so confident all the time, looked unsure.

Fuck this.

"Anyways, I don't have time for this family drama. Let's get to business, shall we now", he smirked.

He used his gun to fire another shot in the air and a Grey van came in view.

2 men wearing black masks on their faces came out of it. They were covered, head to toe but their eyes.

Even their hair was covered under hoodes. Hands were black gloved. And they even wore black glasses over their thick black masks.

They opened the backdoor of the van and pushed someone out of it.

First came Diana.

My Diana.

My blood boiled with rage when I saw her condition.

She had dirty marks on her shoulders and neck. The left side of her head was bleeding. The corners of her mouth were red. Her dress, from the party, was torn and ragged. Her hair had half come out of her chignon and she looked... dead.

FUCK

My Diana isn't supposed to be treated this way. She's my queen. How dare Jack and Gini treat her this way!

Jack was looking at me with the most amused expression ever. He knew that I am in pain and he was enjoying it.

Diana had dried up tears all over her face.

The guy in black mask removed the handkerchief from her mouth and she coughed.

"Diana", I whispered.

She looked at me and smiled, "don't worry Elijah, I'm fine. It's okay", she said softly.

"Aww, look at that. Two love birds. But eh, y'all boring. Anyways, I just took her for some fun. She's pretty useless to me. Release her", he gestured to his men.

They uncuffed her hands and pushed her forward. I ran towards her and catched her just in time before she fell down.

"I'm sorry, I'm sorry. Please forgive me, I'm sorry", I kept on repeating apologies.

It was all my fault. Only if I was more careful. Only if I deserved to be happy.

"No Elijah-", she held my face in her hands and said, "- it's not your fault. I'm fine, don't worry", she struggled to stand up.

I pulled her closer to me and kissed her forehead.

"Di-did he hurt you...", I asked her.

She shook her head, "he tried to. H-he tried to touch me. But his wife st-stopped him", she whispered.

My blood boiled with so much anger I couldn't explain it.

Even Julian was as angry as I was. Julian and Diana were bestfriends and he took care of her like his own sister.

"Yeah yeah yeah, enough of this reunion shit. Stop wasting my time", Jack said and gave his men another cue.

They pushed out another cuffed person out of the van.

Rose.

She looked alot worse than Diana.

She was staggering to even walk. Her leg was bleeding, it had a gunshot wound. Her dress was ragged and torn and was barely helping the cold.

It was November already and Diana and Rose did not even have anything to prevent the cold.

"Rose!", Alex gasped.

I saw it was even difficult for him to see her in so much pain. He seemed to be in pain too. He eyes were flowing down fat tears as ran towards her, too quick for grandpa to catch him.

"Aye! Stop right there little brat", Gini said and pointed a gun towards Rose's head.

Alex stopped dead in his tracks. He looked horrified. "Please don't hurt my sister", he pleaded with the most painful look on his face.

My heart hurt for my little brother.

My brothers don't deserve this pain.

"They're gonna hurt her", Diana whispered with a terrified look.

"What do y-", I cut off with another gun shot.

I quickly looked at Jack. He shot in the air again and then went towards Rose and harshly pulled her towards the edge of the cliff.

He said, "I knew, once I'm here, there's no going back. But do I care? HA! I DON'T", he laughed maniacally.

"What are you talking about?", grandfather, who was quiet so far, asked with a deadly expression.

I could see he was trying hard not to shoot Jack on the spot.

"Eh, just the usual. I know I could never escape you and your family. Might as well make it worth it. This little brat is pretty useless anyway", he said and pulled the trigger.

Just when he shot Rose, Diana pushed her away and was shot instead.

She staggered back. Her chest bleed.

She looked at me and mouthed I love you to me as she slowly fell down the cliff . . .
