《Save Me [Zarry]》I Need Time

After practice, Liam and I walked out of the gym, bantering and laughing.
The few days after Harry accidentally met my parents passed by almost uneventfully. People (mostly the girls) in school were still shipping Zarry, they just didn't know it was already real. Ha ha.
"Mate, I'm getting really nervous now," Liam stated, interrupting my Zarry thoughts.
Well, yeah. I was a bit nervous as well. I mean, in just a week or two was our lacrosse game. And this game was not just any little warm up game, oh no.
It was the first big game of the season, which we had to win at all costs. There was a lot of pressure on us this year. The duty of securing a winning streak for the Coach was our responsibility. We were up against the team of the school of Birmingham-- who were coming all thw way to Woodridge, our school to play us-- which is a kind of a big deal.
"Yep, me too. But let's not start stressing about it just now."
We walked to the fountain where our friends were seated, and as soon as Liam saw Dani, his whole face lit up with a bright smile. And I guess I must have had the same expression as Liam now, 'cos Harry was smiling at me sweetly, and I felt my lips curving up in response and felt my heart thumping a tad faster than before.
Liam rushed over to Dani and full out kissed her. Yep. They were the PDA type couple. I really wanted to do that with Harry considering we just saw each other after practically the whole day, but I couldn't. Not yet at least.
Niall and Louis were in the awkward mode again. I don't even wanna know what is up with them. One day, they're joking with each other like long lost best friends, then the other day, they're acting like they just had a rough break up. Jeez.
"Okay guys! Listen up! Before Liam and Zayn joined us, Harry had given me an awesome idea. And what is that idea, you ask?"
"No, we don't ask," Louis sassed but Dani ignored him and continued.
"Harry informed me that tonight there's going to be a fireworks show that's going to be arranged by the London amusement park!"
Liam grinned. "Sounds great! Let's go then!"
Dani nodded. "Yep. So we're all going. Cancel all your other plans boys or else I'm gonna cancel them for you." She threw in an effective glare for good measure.

"Now this is gonna be great! A triple date!" Dani squealed and I chuckled.
"Wait, what? Triple date?" Niall mumbled confusedly with a cookie in his mouth.
Danielle rolled her eyes. "Yes, leprechaun. Me and Liam. Zayn and Harry. You and Louis. Comprende?"
Louis frowned. "Oh no we're not-"
Dani cut him off with her glare. "Don't even say it Tommo."
She pointed her finger at him, then at the cookie munching blonde. "Mark my words. You two will eventually see past your awkwardness and hesitation and finally work on the attraction you two have for each other. I just don't get why you're taking so damn long."
Louis huffed and Niall blushed, knowing Dani was telling the truth.
I took a seat beside Harry on the fountain ledge and whispered to him, "You know, it's gonna be kinda weird. I mean, we've had dates where there was only you and I and now... our friends..." I trailed off.
Harry smirked. "Oh, so like to be alone with me, eh?"
I blushed. "Yeah, of course! But I guess this triple date shit will be fun."
Harry snickered. "Yep. It'll be fun to see how Niall and Louis will behave."
~*~
I picked Harry up at seven, which was the perfect time to go to the amusement park and also gave us a lot of time before the fireworks show.
"Ah, where are your glasses?" I frowned as Harry slid into the passenger seat. He looked really adorable in his glasses. I guess I had a thing for guys with glasses and dimples. God, help me.
"I'm wearing contacts."
"Oh, bummer. I like your glasses," I teased. Harry rolled his eyes and blushed. I stroked his pink tinted cheek, and planted a soft kiss on his lips.
We had to meet the others at the park soon, so before I got more distracted, we set off.
~*~
"Guys come on! Let's go on the Twister first!" Louis offered. He was the most excited out of all of us right now. I guess the amusement park brought out his inner child. You know, more than usual.
So we all went on the Twister and rode 'til we got sick. And a LOT more rides that I can't even remember the names of.
Harry was acting a bit distant after a while since we got here and that concerned me. Did I do something wrong?

Liam and Dani had went for the Tunnel of Love, eugh! Niall and Louis went to some arcade type game and Harry and I opted for the Haunted House.
"You scared, babe?" I teased him, walking up beside him as we joined in the line for the entrance to the Haunted House.
"Not when I have you to protect me," Harry winked and entwined our fingers but I quickly snatched my hand away. Hurt flashed in Harry's eyes and I felt guilty. But... we were in public. We couldn't do that, right?
"This is the third time you've done that today, Zayn!" Harry threw his hands up, frustrated. A few people turned around at his outburst so he left the line and I followed him.
"Did what?" I tried to act nonchalant but I know I wasn't fooling anyone.
"Oh? Like whenever I walk closer to you, you scoot away. Whenever I hold your hand you snatch yours away! Are you mad at me or something?"
"No, 'course not Harry! I-" My eyes widened when I saw his eyes glistening. I promised I'd never make Harry cry. And now I'm making him cry at just the stupidest thing. God, I'm an idiot.
"No Harry, you gotta understand! I-I'm scared! The other times we went on dates, it was only you and me and we were never in public! I m-mean not in this much public. I-"
"You want to say that you don't like to be seen with me?" Harry choked.
Oh, God. This is not going well. "NO HAZ! Listen to me. I'm sorry for how I behaved right now. I'm never gonna be embarrassed by you. Hell you're the best thing that has ever happened to me," I murmured, more to myself.
"Really?"
I nodded frantically and took Harry's hand in mine. "Look Harry, I'm still not ready to... come out. Just a bit more. I-I'm scared. I'm sorry if I'm sounding selfish but... but you gotta understand," I squeezed his hand.
Harry sucked in a deep breath and nodded. "Guess I over reacted a bit as well. You just need a bit more support from me. I'm really afraid that you're gonna leave me, you know? When you told me you felt the same way about me at Liam's party, I couldn't believe what I had heard."
I smiled at him. Leave him? Silly boy. "And I couldn't believe it either that my crazy feelings were actually returned."
Harry cracked a smile and I smiled back, glad things were okay now.
"I'm sorry, yeah?" I told him again, looking into his eyes.
He nodded. "It's okay. I'm giving you time. Giving us time. But Zayn, you just have to learn to stop caring about what people think of you sooner or later," Harry advised sincerely.
I know Harry was damn right. I needed to face this. I had to keep in mind his feelings too. He was in this relationship too, it wasn't one sided.
We walked over to where we were meeting everyone, near the Roller Coaster. As soon as we reached the gigantic ride, Harry squeaked, "Oh no."
We were all finished with almost all the rides, except the Roller Coaster.
"Okay guys this is the last ride, then it's the Ferris Wheel. 'Cos we have about an hour 'til the fireworks show starts," Dani informed us.
I turned around to Harry and his face was as pale as a sheet, and he was watching the roller coaster zoom by with fearful eyes. Oh, he's afraid of roller coasters.
"C-can we skip this one?" Harry pleaded in a shaky voice.
"Oops! Hazza's afraid of roller coasters! I forgot!" Louis admitted sheepishly.
"I-I'll sit this one out," he mumbled and started in the direction of a bench and I followed him.
I sat beside him and passed him a water bottle. "You feeling okay, Haz?"
He nodded. "Yeah. It's just, it's a childhood phobia that I haven't quite gotten over. It's silly actually," he rubbed his neck shyly.
I snorted. "Really? Well I'm afraid of the dark. And afraid of water. Deathly afraid. Tell me if those fears aren't silly."
Harry chuckled. "Okay, I feel better now."
"Good." I leaned over and kissed his forehead. Wow. Come to think of it, I was never this lovey dovey with my past girlfriends. It just didn't feel right before.
But with Harry, I just want to be a sappy romantic. Take him on candle light dinner dates, make him laugh, sing him a song, give him roses...
I shook my head, getting off of the tangent my thoughts were following.
"C'mon, I think the others are done with the SCARY RIDE. You feel better for the Ferris Wheel?"
Harry nodded and took the hand I offered. "Yep. I love Ferris Wheels."

Drinker of the Yew: A Necromancer's Tale
Updates Once a Week next update 10/5 Wracked with misfortune, a nameless village along the edge of the Gray Spine rejoiced at the arrival of a paladin. Those celebrations, though, turned to wary tension as the paladin brought an unknown into their midst - his wife Nayinis, who wears the markings of a necromancer. Who is this woman? Why has she come to their village? Nayinis divulges her shadowed past, for she needs the village's trust to defeat the powerful foe that she has been summoned by the divine to face. What to expect: This is a slow-paced, dark, epic-fantasy book written mostly in an archaic first-person style, remniscent of fariy-tale at times. I am expecting the final product to be close to 600-700 pages. The first few chapters introduce a somewhat-steep learning curve of names and mythology of the world that plateaus at aroud chapter 5.
