LOUIS' POV
As usual, I was standing outside my boyfriend's house, waiting for him. Why? 'Cos today was Valentine's day, and we were going to spend it in style.
Even though we have no idea how we'll do that.
Niall instantly appeared beside me, startling me. "Boo!" he grinned, and I rolled my eyes.
"Hi, Nialler," I ruffled his hair, pulling him closer and pecking him on the lips.
"Ready for the most awesome date ever?" I asked cheekily.
Niall nodded, eyes gleaming. "Hell yeah! Where are we goin'?"
My shoulders slumped. "I have no freaking idea." Seriously, I spent all night trying to come up with more date ideas than the original one I had thought of, cos that one seemed a bit too cliche and simple. Well, I'm not having any other genuis ideas so I'm going to have to go with it.
"Okay," Niall began, as we got inside my car. "So basically, we'll spend half of today doing what you chose for the date, then the other half what I chose?"
I nodded in affirmation. "Mhmm, that's what I'd said."
"Cool! So, you first Lou!"
I chuckled sheepishly. "It's actually a pretty stupid idea, not at all original, and-"
Niall cut me off. "I bet it's going to be amazing, cos you always say that before every awesome date you take me on."
I laughed. "I guess. So Nialler, you hungry?"
Niall looked over at me like I was possessed. "Of course I am."
I laughed loudly. "Of course! Why did I even ask?"
~*~
"Here?" Niall asked, gasping in surprise. I parked the car in the parking lot and hopped out, Niall copying my actions. I unlocked the car and smirked at a still starstruck Niall.
"You okay, Nialler?"
"We're really gonna go in there? You're amazing, Louis!" And then I was tackled in a Horan hug. I laughed, burying my face in Niall's soft hair.
"Yes, love, we're going in there. And I take it you like my part of the date?"
"I'm gonna love it! Now come on!" Niall spoke giddily, seizing my hand and dragging me to the entrance of the newly opened, London's biggest, all-you-can-eat buffet restaurant.
~*~
"Slow down, Nialler!" I laughed, clutching my stomach. No, I wasn't clutching my stomach cos I was laughing so hard at my pig of a boyfriend, but cos I had eaten so much, that I could go my whole life without eating another bite. I was stuffed.

But apparently, Niall had a bit more space left in that bottomless bit of his, as he was busily shovelling spaghetti in his mouth, his eyes gleaming as he occassionally looked down at the plate of food. That's true love right there.
"C'mon, Lou! Eat!" Niall urged me, his mouth full. I rolled my eyes adoringly. I had already lost an eating race with Niall, and I am not taking any more risks.
"You go ahead babe, I'm already full," I patted my flat stomach, that didn't feel like it should be flat right now, not at all. Niall shrugged, and moved on to some pizza slices.
"Anything else, sir?" The same blonde waiter appeared beside our table. I don't quite get it. If this was a buffet restaurant, why did the waiter have to bring drinks? Couldn't we do that ourselves, too? Eh, I dunno.
"No, thanks. We're good," I answered him, smiling at the sight of Niall. "Actually, we're more than good," I chuckled.
"That's good to hear, Louis," the blonde guy winked at me, and I awkwardly looked away. "Uh, yeah."

NIALL'S POV
Man, this place was heaven! Louis is seriously the best! I'm not gonna question how he got us a seat to this place, cos it's really hard to, as this restuarant is pretty expensive and newly opened. Louis is just so damn thoughtful.
I don't think my part of the date will make up for this. But I'm not going to think over it, I'm going to let Louis be the judge of that.
I had already beat Louis in an eating race, and he was already full. How on earth...? Whereas I was still feeling a bit starved. Don't judge me!
I pulled a plate of steaming spaghetti in front of me, and taking a fork, started shovelling the heavenly smelling and tasting dish in my mouth. God, this is the life.
"Slow down, Nialler!" Louis chided playfully, laughing cutely.
I kept eating, cos this was so damn good! I couldn't stop. "C'mon Lou, eat!" I urged him, mumbling around a mouthful of delicious food. How can he not be eating all of this amazing stuff? He really can't be full this early?
But apparently he was.
"You go ahead babe, I'm already full," Louis spoke, patting his toned stomach. I shrugged, grabbing a few slices of pizza after being done with spaghetti. Italian food is life, seriously.

"Anything else, sir?" I heard the same ass of a waiter ask us, well more like, ask my boyfriend. I snorted lightly, concentrating on my pizza.
"No thanks, we're good," I heard Louis answer him. "Actually, we're more than good," Louis murmured, and his tone seemed to me like it had a suggestive edge to it. But I didn't dare look up.
"That's good to hear, Louis," I heard the same asshole speak to Louis, and I seethed. He was flirting with my boyfriend, saying his name, and Louis was supposedly flirting back? He never did that, so why now? And in front of me, too?
I know I was being stupid, but I couldn't help it. Suddenly loosing my apetite, I got up from the table without a word and stalked in the direction of the balcony located outside the restaurant doors. I needed to clear my head, and I was mad. Hopefully Louis understands that.
But of course he didn't. 'Cos minutes later, he was standing beside me, concern showing in his features. "What's wrong, Ni?" he asked softly.
"I can't believe you were flirting with that ass!" I huffed, annoyed at him, and at myself for being so jealous.
Louis' jaw fell slack. "Wha...? Of course I wasn't! Why would you even assume that?! That idiot was trying to flirt with me, I would never flirt with anyone in front of you! I'm not that much of an ass!"
"It sure sounded like it," I mumbled, looking away.
"I wasn't flirting with that idiot, alright? He cupped my face in his small hands, making me look at him. "I don't have eyes for anyone else but you, I promise," Louis spoke sincerely, his blue-grey eyes shining.
"I believe you," I breathed. "I'm sorry for over-reacting. I'm just afraid that you'll find somebody better than me, just like that, in a heartbeat," I murmured sadly.
Louis tilted my head up once again. "My silly Nialler. You won't get rid of me that easily," he told me, leaning in. I moved in further, connecting our lips.
Our lips moved in sync, and I felt Louis slip his hands through my hair. I looped my arms around his waist, pulling him impossibly closer to me.
A good few minutes later, we broke away, breathing heavily, faces flushed. I leaned my forehead against Louis. I know I acted so foolishly right now. I need to control my jealously. Louis isn't like that. I should trust him more.
"Louis, I love you," I murmured, burying my face in the crook of his neck. Louis pulled me back, looking into my eyes, as if searching for something. Then he smiled blindingly, crashing his lips onto mine in a kiss that made my knees go weak.
"Go damn it, I love you back, my Nialler," Louis spoke against my lips, kissing me again lightly, then pulling away, threading our fingers together instead.
"Now come on, I'm anxious to see what you have planned for us," Louis said, while leading us out of the restaurant and to his car.
~*~
"Oh my God, Niall! I didn't- I can't- this was- how did you?" Louis gasped, at a loss for words, silently staring down at the tickets in his hands. I grinned proudly.
"My brother. He has connections."
"Wow! I mean, The Fray were sold out the last time I checked, and I really wanted to go to this concert and now I can- oh my God, this is the best Valentine's day ever! Hell, this is the best date ever!" Louis fangirled, crushing me in a hug. I patted him on the back lovingly, making a mental note to thank Greg.
"Now let's go," I pulled a starstruck Louis out of the car and we went inside the concert hall.
~*~
"Let him know that you know best,'cos after all you do know best, try to slip past his defense," Louis was singing along to How To Save A Life, while I listened to his beautiful voice instead of Isaac Slade's.
"Without granting innocence, lay down a list of what is wrong, the things you've told him all along, pray to God, he hears you, and I pray to God, he hears you..." I joined in with Louis, while he wrapped an arm around my waist, pulling me close to him.
"I love you, Nialler," he whispered in my ear, along with some of the lyrics.
"I love you more, Loueh."

Barry Buckman and the Interdimensional Beastiary
In the beginning of 2021 I did something possibly stupid, I hired a ghostwriting company to write one of the many ideas going on in my head since I was busy with my job. Unfortunately... They were not the greatest, after the first writer assigned to me left I was stuck with... We'll just call her 'Karen'. Karen didn't want to listen to my feedback on chapters, and turned what was supposed to be a long story about a young guy surviving on an island of supernatural and crazy stuff, and becoming stronger from it, was turned into a not so great romance novel.I plan on releasing another one, probably after this that will be Barry Buckman Redux, which will be me writing it out the way I originally envisioned it.
