《Write Better: Tips and tricks》You have to read BOOK TITLE before you can write.

There are some amazing, stellar, fascinating, fantastically fabulous books on writing help that you can purchase. For example, the much-loved (and for good reason) On Writing- A Memoir of the Craft, by Stephen King or How Not to Write a Novel, by Howard Mittlemark and Sandra Newman.
If you have the money, books like that are really helpful resources that can get you thinking about writing in new ways. You want to improve? Read them. Read the other popular writing books. There's probably at least one thing you can take to heart in each of them (honestly, probably a lot more than one thing).
BUT.
Don't believe someone when they tell you that you HAVE to read a specific writing book to be good at writing. Yes, books can help you. Yes, you should read them if you have the opportunity.
No, you are not a failure because you haven't. You aren't ensuring that you'll never rise out of mediocrity by not reading them.
But there are some people out there, who, as they give advice, will tell you bluntly that you cannot be a good writer until you have read these books. Otherwise, you're just making mistakes and kicking yourself when you're down. You need these books to improve. Without them, you will fail.
In this day and age, that's simply not true. These books can help you hone your skills (or craft, or talent, or whatever you see your writing ability as), but if you don't have access to them, you can still be a good writer. You just learn in other ways. You write, you practice, you read, you critique, you beta read, you get feedback from various people all around the world... You have access to millions of websites to help you learn about writing and mistakes and tips and tricks. Heck, there are even youtube videos on writing from industry professionals. The internet lets you research from the comfort of your bed, couch, favorite coffee shop, etc. You have friends and family and teachers and maybe even some online roleplaying companions that write better than you that you try and keep up with...

There are all kinds of ways to learn how to write. You do not have to dance a particular way or pray to the right God to be able to tell a good story. Heck, good writers have come and gone who did not have access to the writing guides we have today.
But the more you know, the more experience and knowledge you amass from various sources, the more worldly your writing will become. If you read great tips from BOOK TITLE, yeah, you'll improve.
Just remember that it's just one way that you can improve, not THE way.

The Long and Exciting Life of Kreet the Kobold (Life 1)
This is a coming-of age story of a kobold, set in a rather generic D&D universe. It is adult in that it certainly touches upon some sexuality, but it is far, far from anything that might be considered porn. It is ultimately a tragedy, but so is life. That doesn't mean it has to end badly, just that it has to end.

Origin of Chaos (Rise of Anarchy Book 1)
A stream of cataclysmic incidents. A tide of horror and sadness interspersed with small moments of light. What drives Nyx forward? Is it the need for revenge that haunts his dreams? Is it his beloved comrades he leaves behind, with the promise of returning? Is it the demons ravaging Earth, his homeworld he abandoned over five-hundred years prior? When Nyx passes through realms in his return home, Chaos builds, and the balance is shifting. Unwittingly he becomes both its catalyst and harbinger. This is his story. Note from Author: Things have come up irl so I have had to put the story on a (hopefully) short hiatus.

The Everlasting. (Completed)
An Everlasting. A title given to those who have reached a state closest to godhood. Be it through might and power or through love and compassion. These beings hold great influence over the realms. This story is about Asura, a young orphaned child, who was taught the way of the blade and has mastered the Warrior Arts at a very young age. Given a recommendation by his master, Asura ventures out to broaden his horizons and to learn magic. Follow Asura’s journey and his quest to reach Everlastinghood. Comment by the author: Looking at the chapter list, you might have noticed Volume 1 is not there. The reason is that it’s in the process of being published so I’m somewhat restricted in where and how I can post it. Edit. 18/04/2017 The first volume is now officially on sale. It is no longer possible to get the first volume for free. I am sorry but it was free for a long time and it was time for it. However if you like to support me you can find th first volume here on Amazon (getBook.at/TheEverlasting) Compared to other stories on Royal Road this one is faster paced. No artificial extensions of the story by spending forever in generic constructs, like random ranking tournaments, that don’t really matter for the overall plot. That’s the plan anyway. Volumes consist roughly of 30-35k words. Additionally: I am not a native speaker, nor have I had any formal education in the English language. I am trying very hard to improve myself. If you want to help me by proofreading my story, shoot me a PM and we’ll see if we can arrange something. Other than my thanks and fake internet points I can’t offer anything, though. Yeah, poor student here… Edit 22/06/2017 Hey the story is officially ended if i ever decide to continue it will be on another date. The ending is open for anyone to use their imagination. Thank you all for the support. I hope we could meet later in the Everlasting II. Respectfully Biako
